It had been a couple weeks now and we had finally finished our projects. It was looking so cool. We had really put our 110% effort in it. We had smoke made out from bomb explosions, trenches, sand dunes, and everything. I really was proud of it.

I had dakota spend the night that night so that we could bring it in together; it was pretty heavy and hard to carry alone. We put it in the back of Nathan's old van he hardly used anymore and got in the other row of seats. I was watching it through the rear view mirror the whole way scared that stuff might happen to it.

Arriving me and dakota got out and carried it in together. We took it to our lunch table and sat it down on top. Dani and Oliver looked at it in shock.

"Damn guys what did yall do shrink the world and steal the part where the war was?! You're project should win a grammy!" oliver said in disbelief. We looked at his; it wasn't bad, but it definitely did not compare to ours. I just chuckled and sat down.

"I just like projects. This is the first one i've ever really done, I wanted to show my true potential. And i don't know how strict she is so i wanted to make sure i followed all the rules; shes not exactly what you would call a happy person. Heck she said she'd be handing out F's if she couldn't envision it. So if anything, i'm doing everyone a favor." i said admiring my board.

Me and dakota finally made it to history, and all we had heard about all day was the projects and then that there was football tryouts official lists today. They were listing off the people who made the team. And on top of all of that; this board was so tiring to carry around. We set it on our table. I noticed a sticker that had a big 7 on the front of our table. I made sure the board didn't cover it since I had heard a rumour that there would be voting.

"Okay everyone sit down, please make sure your boards are not covering the number on your tables. You all should have a number 1-10. That is the number of your group. We are going to be voting on boards. If you want to vote for your own you can but everyone must vote once. If there is to many votes you all have to revote. Don't waste my time." was all the teacher said before holding her hand up and circling it; motioning for us to get up and vote. Me and dakota looked at the other boards. We liked ours best and tallied by ours. A lot of people were around our board in amazement.

After everyone found their seats again the teacher counted up the tally marks. It was as the following:

I was so glad we had won. I knew we would after seeing peoples boards in the hallways today but I still loved the idea that we did good. After congratulating us she made everyone carry their boards to the side of the room to be graded. We had to take a piece of tape and put it on the bottom with our names so she knew who's it was. Me and dakota went last so that we wasnt being pushed and shoved around. We sat it down and i had him hold it over a edge while i slide the tape on the bottom and wrote our names.

"Hello students, you have made it through another day of school. For the announcements today i just want to read out our new team names. We had lots of people try out and these were the ones who came out on top. It reads as the following

you could hear boys shouting from other classes and the principal finished announcements and then the long bell rang. We all ran out of the class room and you could see a huddle of all the football men by the main office. They were jumping up and down screaming in success. And with that everyone headed out for home to tell about their success.

They all celebrated and headed out to their cars or to the buses. I got into Nathan's car and told him about how dakota had made it and i was happy for him.

When it was finally night time i clicked my phone to the lock screen seeing that it was 9pm. I decided to go down stairs and watch a movie with popcorn in the theatre room. I asked my butler friend to get me a XXXL popcorn bowl and then went on Netflix and turned on "On My Block" and started watching.

this chapter is about 300-400 words shorter than the average chapter im sorry this is really just a filler chapter. i swear it will get better just stick it out with me. Vote and comment i love hearing your feedback. Hope you guys are enjoying it. Let me know what you all think. <3
