BEEP! BEEp!BEep!

I threw my alarm clock.

"MAX! THAT COULD OF HIT SOMEONE!" nathan states scolding me as he happened to open my door as soon as it did.

"Did it?" I ask with my face still buried in the pillow.

"No, but it--"

"Then it's fine no one's hurt." i Paused chuckling in my head stating, "Well maybe the clock's hurt." I state rolling over. I see nathan holding a water bottle, hot pocket, and a pink bag.

"Here eat this and then take your meds. You have to be ready to go in an hour, be ready i'm not waiting. And you have therapy after school, your nurse from the transition hospital called leaving a message that you'll be seeing Mrs. Copenhagen. Also this is for your friend oliver, tell him sorry its not alot but i got him the same phone as you and it's got 2 chargers, a double box to hook 2 ports in, a really nice protective case with heat sensitive colors, if it's warm it turns red and when its cold it turns a blue color, and there's some headphones" He hands me the hot pocket, bag, and water then walks out. I sit on the edge of my bed as I eat the hot pocket and take my pills. I walk to the bathroom sitting in the tub. I took the shower head down and used it as a hose. I sit in my chair elevating my leg out of the tub. I scrub down my body and hair using my shower head and then dry off before standing to avoid wetting my cast. I walked to my closet and grabbed my jeans and slid them on. Which was a lot harder than i thought.i definitely will need new jeans after this these will get stretched out.

Once dressed I slid on my one shoe and put my stent around my pants. I tied a shoe around my stent using another shoelaces and the shoe laces the shoe had and the small tag on the back of the shoe. I ain't going to school without my shoe. I practiced walking around correcting it how it needed to be. Once I got that worked out I grabbed all my school stuff, Oliver's bag, my phone, and walked down stairs to the kitchen. I ate waffles and bacon and then waited for nathan. It was 10 till we had to leave when Nathan came down ready to go. I grabbed my lunch from the fridge and my 2 monsters and headed out. I informed the chef that I only had 2 monsters left and to see if someone could go get more. He nodded writing it down on his notepad he carried around.

Once ready , Nathan and I headed out. He dropped me off and told me to give the office ladys the yellow envelope he handed me. From what I knew it was my brother's lawyers paperwork stating a court date and a paper copy of my XRays. Once inside I went to the copy machine and made copies of the images. I then slid the originals back inside the envelope. I couldn't help it. I wanted copies.

I handed them the envelope and walked off to go find Dani. When I got there Axel and Shawn weren't at their table and I was grateful for that. I saw dani and she waved me over. I walked over to her. She smiled asking me how i felt, i told her my shoe fit weird but it was okay. She chucked, "well your not suppose wear a shoe on that foot but i guess you do you man." she hugged me and smiled behind me. I saw Oliver walking over to us. I smiled at him. He hugged Dani and gave her a small peck on the cheek.

I gave them an odd 'what was that all about' look. Dani blushed and Oliver stated that they had started dating last night. I smiled and wished them the best of their relationship.

"Oh, oli, by the way, I remembered Nathan said to give you this. It's not a lot but it's all he could think of while out last night." I started pulling the little pink bag out. He looked at it weird before opening it. His jaw dropped.

"Wha- w- what do you mean not a lot! This is one of the new phones and headphones! They haven't even come out yet! How did you get this?" I showed him that i had the same phone. "Nathan runs a company so he has enough money to get stuff before it comes out" i started putting my phone back in my pocket.

He hugged me crying tears of happiness. He thanked me over and over pulling it out, setting it up. I gave him my number and snapped and told him to add me when he could. I pulled the case out of his bag, he slid it on admiring how it changed colors where his fingers were. I explained the hot and cold situation. He thought it was the coolest thing ever. The bell for the first period rang out.

"Shit i was supposed to leave early so I wouldn't be late." I started grabbing my stuff. Dani and Oliver hugged me and told me to be safe. I walked off trying to be careful as i headed to first period.

Sitting down I pretty much sketched all period. The teacher used today to give us time to catch up on reading or missing assignments; if we were already caught up she told us we could work on other things in other classes or to be quiet and not distract anyone trying to work.

My phone vibrated in my pocket, I pulled it out seeing that it was a snapchat notification. I opened it seeing a 2 by the add button. When I opened it I saw that it was Oliver and Dani. I added both of them back and then slid over. They had made a group chat and added me in it. They named the group chat "3 Emo F**ks'' with a laughing emoji and a skull emoji. I laughed at the name quietly not to disturb my class. We agreed to meet up for lunch, they told me to meet them at the far right table in the corner of the room. I agreed and told them I had to go. I started packing my stuff seeing there was only 2 minutes of class yet. When the bell rang out I was first out the door on my way to my next class.

It was now 4th period. I was in history and then i had 1 more class before i could finally go to lunch. I sat in the back of the class in my double seat table and set my bag in the seat beside me. Noone sat there so i didn't have to deal with any seat mates. Kinda boring and annoying when we had to do group work but i worked around it.

As the bell rang a tall male, with a nice physique walked in. He walked over to the teacher who was drawing on the board. He said something I couldn't make out. All I heard was the teacher state. "Mr.Brown you can sit next to Max, Rules of the class are be quiet, speak when spoken to, and don't make me repeat myself." He nodded awkwardly and made it over to the rows of students looking around confused on his spot. I raised my hand at him to tell him I was Max. I moved my bag to the floor opposite me.

"Hi, I'm Dakota, new kid." he whispered quietly. "Max, new this year." I said back. He smiled pulling out a composition notebook as the teacher started his lesson. I pulled out my sketchbook and started drawing, i didn't need the lessons i already knew the material.

The last 15 minutes of class rolled around. "Okay class listen up! We have a project starting. You have heard about some wars today now you will recreate those. I want posters of one of the many wars, you can choose one we spoke of or research your own. I want to see detail. I don't want to see you go home grab a poster board and glue your brothers and sisters dolls to it and color it green in crayon. I want 3D models. I want trees, bushes, soldiers, I want to be able to envision what happened in that war in my mind by looking at your board. If I can't envision every detail of that war I will not hesitate to throw F's at all of you. You will work with the people beside you. If you are in a table with just you find someone from a table of just 1 and work with them, NOONE IS DOING THIS ALONE! You have your instructions. Use the last 10 minutes of class to talk to your partners." He went back to his desk and got on his computer typing away.

Okay guys so i'm really behind i have 2 more draft chapters planned out, i'll try to update as much as possible i've just got a lot going on. I hope you like my book. this is the rewrite of my other book that has over 13K reads im so proud of how far my book has gone.
