Amanda and group walked towards the caves, and the light of the sun was growing darker and darker. Soon making it night. But knowing Aaron as a persistent little bugger he won't give in to the night's demands. The group made it to the caves with some time to spare before nightfall, "alright let's get in and out before anyone notices us" said Aaron, Amanda was the first one in followed by Tia and Tyler, David next and his girlfriend can after the Aaron, one agreed to watch outside not because he was to scared to go in, it was because of the people who might be watching.
Amanda walked in front of the group as she walked down farther in, the more stranger the cave looked, it looked like it was carved by something. "Guys I don't know about you but I have a very weird vibe coming from this place" stated Tyler. Tyler was not one for scary stuff, can you blame him. "As soon as we can find why the people of this town are so afraid of these cave, the sooner were out of here" stated Aaron, Amanda only looked at Aaron for a moment and looked back, shaking her head. Tyler looked around "Amanda I know you have noticed about the walls" Tyler said, Amanda nodded agreeing with him. "Yeah, the walls look like their carved and not naturally formed like other caves" she states.
That's when the ground started to rumble and shake, it was an earthquake and their caught right in the middle of it. The floor underneath Amanda feet pushed her backwards making her land on her back. The ground in front of her lifted up as of something or someone moved it. Tia and David's girlfriend scream out of shock as Aaron cried Amanda's name. Then there was silence, complete and utter silence "just my luck" she murmured to herself as she gets up and dusted herself off. She could hardly see as it is, plus she doesn't have a flashlight only the light of her phone but that doesn't work very well. So basically in a nutshell she's stuck, she tried to make any noise as she possibly could to get an answer from her friends. "HEY! CAN YOU HEAR ME!" She cried but the wall was like soundproof foam, she kick the wall and banged on it as hard as she could but alas it didn't budge. Amanda started to tear up, the welled in her eyes as she placed her forehead on the wall.
She sits down and laid her head back on the wall feeling absolutely helpless, she looked down at herself as a tear feel from her cheek. But as it on cue the same light that was shining earlier came and it was brighter then before. Amanda gets up and walked towards it slightly with hesitation, whatever was causing the light must be close. Amanda shallowed her fear and she walked towards it, she felt like something was watching her. Amanda quickened the pace of her walking, meanwhile Aaron and the others made it out, Aaron looks to his best friend "Eric call 911, Amanda got stuck, we need the police and an ambulance here!" Called Aaron and without hesitation Eric grabbed his phone and called 911.
     Meanwhile Amanda was walking when walls began to shift again this time showing her with way to go through. She walked the paths the caves showed her, the light continued to get brighter. Amanda looked at the last turn and in it was a large purple and blue rock, on the walls were symbols that looked alien. She entered the condor like room when she started to feel...peaceful in this place. She looked around until her eyes landed on a blue and purple stone, it looked absolutely gorgeous, it was looked like it was made out of crystal.       
      Subconsciously walking towards it, she could see a faint outline of what looked like a machine. It a bird head and wings, it like it looked like platinum. Amanda was confused as of why it's here and importantly who to open it, "Amanda you there!" Cried Aaron's voice snapping her out of thought. She almost forgot about the group, she turns to the sound of the voice and back to the stone. She back away and headed out of the room, without her noticing the creature's eyes flash blue but only for a slip second.
       Amanda walked back to the hallway where she started, when suddenly a light go shined on her face almost blinding her. "Oops, sorry miss" spoke a unfamiliar voice, the light was put down to reveal a young cop who looked to be in his early to late 20's. "Come on let's get you hand safely" he says as he leads Amanda out of the cave, outside were cop cars and an ambulance, The group were answering questions to why they were in there. "I told you before officer, there was a light coming from the caves and we went to check it out." Started Tyler, Amanda walked out of the caves with the cop. Aaron looked and ran to turn to her, "Amanda!" He cried and hugged her. "Sir let her breathe she's been in there a while, we don't know if she's hurt" stated the cop next to her. Aaron glared at the cop, "it's ok Jim, she'll be fine" Aaron said as the young cop widened his eyes "oh it's you Aaron, I didn't recognize you without your uniform" he said. Aaron nodded as the paramedics checked her out, everything appeared to be fine, but they want to take her to the hospital to be sure. "It will be an overnight thing, Amanda doesn't like being in hospitals alone, I'll stay with her for tonight " Stated Tyler. 
      Amanda still had her though of the stone, what are they going to do to it? Will they find it? Will they call the government? The government ALWAYS gets involved with stuff like this, it really bugs her to know that there trusted government keeps secrets from them, it's slightly understandable to not have wide spread panic, but it would also prepare the people to not freak out if they knew. There two side on each coin, there was never a one sided coin. Amanda looked at the cops looked at the caves, the ambulance drove off leaving the site with Amanda.
