Silence...

"..don't just appear Knuckles..."

Silence again.

As (Y/N) began to regain consciousness from whatever the heck that was, she felt weird. What happened to her? Her eyes felt... bigger? Wider...? Like... one? What in the name of Earth is even going on here? And what's with the voices? "Sonic I'm telling you, she just came out of that green smoke." Are... are the Sonic characters actually there? In order to get her answers and to clutch on to life, she tried to open her eyes. With all her might, she managed to weakly open her eyes, drawing their attention.

"Guys hey, I think she's waking up."

As her vision returned, her eyes found way to four familiar faces staring back at her. Four sets of eyes, grass green, sky blue, violet and emerald green eyes looked at her. She groaned as she rubbed eye dust from her now weird feeling face.

"Hey, are you alright?" The familiar blue figure asked to which she responded "I think so." She pushed herself upright on the bed she laid down in and scooched back so she could sit up, rubbing her forehead. "Gosh my head... my... clothes... ?" as she stared at her hands, she noticed her hands were completely covered by her sleeves. "What happened to my clothes? Wha... where am I?" She looked to the people in front of her. Not human at all and too real looking to be cosplayers or robots, either this is some trick or ... was she actually in the Sonic world? "What is going on here?"

The figures, who she knew all too well, looked at each other. The pink one turned to her. "Actually... we were hoping you could answer that." She said as (Y/N) shrugged. Then she decided to pull her sleeve down so her hand would have freedom, shocked to find what else had happened. She gasped, her hand... it was a light blue colour. She lifter her other sleeve now paying attention to the weird feeling of little quills being moved on her arms as her hands. Her other hand was an exact match. She looked to the four people in front of her. "Hey um... weird question but does anyone have a mirror I can borrow?" She asked. The small fox boy went to a desk, his two fluffy tails following behind him as he turned. He picked up a small hand mirror that could be held in two hands and walked back over to the group. "Here." He held out the mirror to (Y/N). As she took it, her eyes locked onto the mirror as her reflection came into view... but it wasn't her reflection.

Her eyes widened in shock. Staring back at her was the face of the being of chaos, Nazo himself, but there was a difference. The features were much more feminine in the reflection, softer... as she batted her eyes at the mirror, she watched it blink back slowly. The shock grew more as she held a hand to her face and the mirror reflected her actions. "What the... is that... me?" She couldn't believe herself. She blinked again, feeling the movements of her new body, even poking her ears. She stared back at the group. "Okay um, I've got a lot of questions." She began adressing the them. "Mainly where am I and who are all of you?" Well she knew who they all were already, but that felt like such a natural question to ask seeing as she's never met them in person before.

The iconic blue hedgehog gave an awkward smile. "Well, I'm Sonic, Sonic the hedgehog." He said proudly with a pose and proceeded to point in indication to the rest of his group one by one. "And that's Tails the Fox, Knuckles the Echidna and Amy Rose." Tails smiled and gave a small waved, Knuckles grunted and nodded while Amy just did the same as Tails, wave with a smile before asking. "What's your name?" "My name?" The now former human scratched the back of her head before answering. "It's (Y/N), (Y/N) the Hedgehog I guess." Amy nodded at the other girl. "Nice to meet you (Y/N), and to answer your other question, you're in Northopolis." Her eyes furrowed in confusion. "Northopolis?" She asked, not really remembering a city in the Sonic world with THAT name.

"Yeah, it's one of the main cities we know on Earth."

"Oh"

She looked down awkwardly. Tails noticed the tension in the room as well as the odd thing out. (Y/N) wasn't a normal hedgehog, it was evident on her face, it's shape... her back quills... something about her was different. She seemed to have no idea that she was on Angel Island and she probably didn't know about it to them, so he tried a different aproach "Hey uh, (Y/N)..." he spoke up, getting her attention. "Do you remember anything before you got here?" She scratched the side of her head. "Well..." she said as her train of thought came up short. "... I remember sitting at home... and getting a notification for a something on my phone, I tapped on it then th next thing I knew I was surrounded in green smoke... that's about it." She shrugged. "Hmm, interesting." He said as he thought. "Do you remember who sent it to you?" Actually no one sent it to her, but there was something odd about the 'author'. "Um... I don't remember there being any details... their profile picture was just green lightning and they didn't have a name, whoever it was just called themself... 'Master Emerald' or something." It was a weird thing. Everyone looked at her... eyes widen in shock. "Did... did I say something wrong?" She asked, concerned. Knuckles looked to Sonic and whispered to him. He looked at him and nodded before turning back to light blue hedgehog. "Hey (Y/N), could you give me and my group a minute?" He asked to which she nodded. While they all whispered to each other, she had no one but herself to talk to.

What the heck is happening to me? She asked herself as she looked at her hands. How am I here? And why do I look like Nazo? She thought about that weird green smoke thing and that it changed her. Boy did that transformation hurt like hell though. She wondered about that green smoke. Did it have something to do with the chaos energy maybe? She thought to that weird book, The Stolen Body... did she just steal Nazo's body? Nah, that's impossible, it's just a coincidence, right?  Wait a minute... she thought as she began to piece it together. The cover of the book was a light blue Chaos emerald, the one Nazo formed from in Nazo Unleashed, the story was called The Stolen Body, she's in a body that looks like Nazo, the author was called Master Emerald, she was lifted up in that green smoke, the same colour as the actual Master Emerald...
