As soon as Ivy smacked into the ground, she snapped back into reality.

Gasping, she shot up into a sitting position from where she had been lying on the floor. Ivy looked around the room quickly, seeing everyone in the same position they had been before she had been taken into the mind world.

Nyssa was sitting gracefully on the couch, and Morocco was just sitting down beside her. Angus and Casper, her guards, were standing by the door, watching her. And Lenan was standing beside the couch, his face slightly strained.

Ivy noted that she was back in her own clothes, a once-white three-quarter length shirt and long black pants with boots.

She sucked in a large gulp of air, feeling as if she had been holding her breath for a few minutes, "What happened?" she asked, feeling disoriented.

Lenan's face relaxed slightly as she spoke, "Your life-force was leaving you. Apparently humans cannot survive the mind world for long." his tone was that of stating fact.

"Angus and Casper, take the human back to her space." Morocco ordered, "Tomorrow we will resume with a different technique that will get the information." his voice sounded impatient, "This has taken long enough."

The two guards stepped forward and seized Ivy, pulling her to her feet. Ivy went along, knowing that resistance was futile, and it would be best to preserve what remained of her strength. She smiled inwardly, knowing that she may get home that night.

The guards chained her in her room, locked the door, and assumed their usual positions on either side of the door.

The hours ticked slowly by for Ivy, as she waited. The sky slowly darkened, and instead of trying to sleep as she usually did, Ivy stayed alert.

More time passed, and Ivy shifted to a different position.

'Is he coming at all?' Ivy felt the thought creep into her head. Sighing, she realized there was nothing she could do. It was out of her hands, and she couldn't change a thing.

More minutes crawled by, and eventually Ivy heard faint voices talking quietly outside of the door. They talked for a few seconds, before she heard a muted thud. Ivy heard a shout of alarm, and heard something slicing through the air. A quiet exclamation of pain, and then another thud.

A key was inserted into the keyhole and turned, emitting a quiet click. Smoothly, the door was pushed open, and Lenan emerged. There was a slice on his left arm that was bleeding, but he seemed to ignore it. Lenan stepped quickly over to Ivy and unlocked her chains, "We must hurry." He said quietly.

She nodded, rubbing her sore wrists, "What's the plan?"

"We are going to walk out here, me leading you. Like you're a prisoner," Lenan spoke quickly, glancing at the door every few seconds, "Just let me guide you."

"Alright." Ivy smiled gratefully, "Thank you."

Lenan looked away, "I was the one who got you here in the first place." he mumbled awkwardly, then looking back up, he seemed to gain his composure, "Let's go."

He grabbed Ivy's arms loosely, and guided her out the door.

On either side of the door, Angus and Casper were unconscious, leaning against the house. At a questioning glance from Ivy, Lenan explained, "It should fool anyone at a distance." The two Stellas' weapons were in casual positions; Angus' daggers were sheathed, and Casper's whips were dangling loosely to the ground. Ivy caught a glimpse of blood on one of the whips, and her eyes widened slightly, making the connection.

"Keep your eyes ahead," Lenan murmured out of the corner of his mouth.

Ivy obeyed, turning her head forward to watch where they were going. Their course was set straight for the pod, and Ivy wondered what story Lenan had made up to explain if anyone asked. She didn't have long to wait however, before someone called out to them.

"Ak! Lenan!" They turned to see a guy Stellas with red hair, waving a hand at them, "Geluk tirvaneth?"

Lenan smiled, "Karvi e Morocco." he jerked a head at Ivy, "Pmeti ga Earth." <orders from Morocco, the prisoner is to be taken back to Earth.>

The Stellas nodded, "Gagva nel, jakvi." <travel well, bond-brother.>

Lenan turned back to face the pod and increased his pace slightly.

When Ivy and Lenan arrived at the edge of the landing substance, a Stellas called out, asking where they were going. Lenan responded casually the same way he had before.

The Stellas looked confused at his response, "Gejkal?" <indeed?>

Lenan nodded once, "Je." <yes.>

"Aisode, E segva alda." <I am sorry, but I must check.>

Lenan nodded slowly, "Asfite," <very well.>

The Stellas called out to another Stellas, apparently giving orders to him. The other Stellas nodded, and started running towards the palace.

"What are they doing?" Ivy asked quietly, not understanding their language.

"I told them that Morocco told me to bring you back to earth," Lenan responded in the same tone, "He said that he has to check if Morocco actually gave those orders,"

Ivy looked at Lenan, brows coming together slightly, "We'll be caught," she hissed quietly.

"That's why we must hurry when I say run." Lenan responded quietly as well.

"Wait, what?"

"Run." Lenan said quietly, pushing her forwards towards the pod.

Yay! An update! Finally! ;)
