"Oh, I-I'm so s-sorry." Ivy stammered slightly, quickly setting the notebook down on the seat where she had found it.

When the man failed to sit down, or really do anything, Ivy swallowed, saying, "That's a cool story you have in there." Even though she believed that it wasn't fiction. Still he didn't do anything. After an awkward pause, Ivy stood up, feeling like she needed to do something to break the tension, "I have to go get a drink of water." she mumbled, and made her way past him. After leaving the room, Ivy stopped and leaned against a wall, closing her eyes, "What in the world just happened?" She muttered quietly to herself. Then a cloth was shoved up against her nose and mouth. Her eyes flew open in panic, and barely registered the man before she passed out.

~~~<<<O>>>~~~
When she became conscious again, her hands were bound with coarse rope behind her back and a half face mask was wrapped around her mouth--preventing her from saying anything. A wave of panic washed over her as she saw where she was now. She was in a cramped dark grey room-like area. Tubes ran around the inside of the room attached to box-sized tanks. Where each of the tubes ended, oxygen blew out. At the opposite end from where she was there was a strange driving wheel, where the man whose notebook she had read stood, controlling it. In front of him, there was a large area that was clear, allowing Ivy to see out. Stars twinkled and planets shone and for a moment, Ivy was struck by the beauty of it all. And then she realized the implications and her stomach clenched. She was in space.
Ivy began working her hands back and forth, trying to get her bonds loosened. She could feel no progress, but kept at it, a flame of hope still flickering. Suddenly she felt pressure pushing her against the wall, and involuntarily let out a muffled cry. The man ignored her, focusing completely on the controls and looking out the clear area. The pressure shifted as the man pulled up on the controls. Then the pod shook as it made contact with ground. Ivy felt the pod sliding through wherever they had landed. Finally, the pod stopped moving, and the man turned around to face her, smiling. Ivy gasped as she saw his face. His skin was completely blue, and his eyes were dark grey--almost black. His hair was midnight black, and his mouth was turned up in a pleasant smile. As she studied his face, she made a guess that he was around 26. The left half of his face was sprinkled with black freckles.
"My name is Lenan." His voice was pleasant and if not for the present circumstance, Ivy considered, she would enjoy the company of this stranger. But because of the present circumstance, Ivy sent him a hard glare. He shrugged and walked over to her, grabbing her arm and lifting her onto her feet. He pushed her towards the door of the pod, which he had opened by clicking a button. She stepped down from the pod and her shoes immediately sank into the mucky ground. Lenan looked confused, as he stepped on the ground beside her, his bare feet standing firmly on top of the ground. He pulled her up out of the mucky substance, and having no other choice, carried her onto ground that she could stand on. Releasing her, Lenan unclipped the mask she had been wearing and threw it away. Ivy sucked in a deep breath of air through her mouth. Then she took in her surroundings, eyes widening.
The surface the planet was made of substance that was cold and gave slightly under Ivy's feet. From what she could see of the planet, it was uneven. Perfectly square houses with flat roofs were spread out, with dark grey roads connecting them. People with dark blue skin walked around, a few staring at Ivy. As she studied the people, she noticed that there were three main hair colors: red, green, and black. Those with green hair had completely white eyes and were much more scarce than the others.
"Where am I?" Ivy whispered.
"You are on the planet Stellis, and these are the Stellas." Lenan answered from behind her. Ivy whirled around, ginger hair flying, "Why did you bring me here?" she yelled, tears springing to her eyes. Lenan didn't have the chance to answer before an armed group of Stellas approached them. At their head was a man and woman.
The man had dark green hair cut short. His pure white eyes were disconcerting, as you could not tell where he was looking. He wore a gold tunic, embroidered with blue thread into ruins, which Ivy could not read. He wore loose dark brown pants, which were tucked into knee-high leather black boots.
The woman holding his arm had fiery red hair that was pinned up in an intricate bun ontop of her head. She wore a gold dress with no sleeves and which fell to the floor. A loose blue sash was tied around her waist. In contrast with her blue skin, a thick gold arm band was high up on her arm. It had been inscribed with the same ruins that had been on the man's tunic.
Behind them, the guards walked, each of them wearing light armor and a black mask covering half of their faces. It seemed to Ivy that each of them had a different weapon. On a belt around one guard's waist were two short sheaths, one on each side. Carved wooden dagger hilts stuck out above them, marked with ruins. Another guard held a broad two-sided axe with both of his burly arms. Other such weapons that the guards carried were swords, nun chucks, and even one carried twin whips, which were curled around his arm while they weren't being used.
When the man and woman got closer, Lenan bowed his head in deference to them. Ivy stood upright, still furious.
When the couple stopped, the guards stopped with them, and the man greeted Lenan, "Welcome back, Lenan. I see that your mission was successful."
"Yes, Morocco." Lenan said respectively, and raised his head.
The woman lifted her hand up from the man's arm, and gracefully walked forward to Ivy, her gold dress swishing across the ground. Her black eyes met Ivy's and she said in a kind tone, "Welcome to Stellis."
"Why am I here?" Ivy demanded.
"There will be enough time for that later." she seemed to overlook Ivy's angry tone, and continued speaking, "My name is Nyssa, daughter of the Stellas. I will show you your space." Nyssa smiled, and turned. She began walking, gesturing for Ivy to follow her. Without pausing, she called, "Angus, Casper." Two guards separated from the main group and walked behind Nyssa and Ivy, who had joined the lady. The one with the daggers--Angus--walked in front of them, while the one with the twin whips--Casper-- walked behind. Ivy noted that they were both tense, ready to protect Nyssa at the slightest moment.
"What is your name?" Nyssa asked, without turning her head. Seeing no reason to refuse to answer this simple question, Ivy responded, "Ivy."
They relapsed into silence, until they arrived at a dark grey house with a solid dark blue door with a gold handle.
"This is your space for now." Nyssa announced, "Someone will come to check on you in the morning." The guards untied Ivy's hands, and Nyssa lifted a hand, gesturing for Ivy to go inside. After a moment's hesitation--and after realizing that resistance was futile due to the guards-- Ivy entered. After she had entered, the guards slammed the door closed, causing Ivy to whip her head around. She heard the tell-tale click of a lock and heard Nyssa's dress swishing as she walked away. The guards, however, positioned themselves at opposite sides of the door.
With a sigh, Ivy turned around and studied her new room. At the far corner was a pile of woven blankets, stacked high enough to look like an actual mattress. At the other corner there was a pole with solid circles of wood every foot, making it look like a table with three layers. On the very top circle was a hollow glass ball on a glass stand. What was inside of the glass ball, Ivy could not tell, but what she did see that it radiated light. A long window ran across the top of one wall.
Walking slowly over to the stack of blankets, Ivy sat down on it. She rested her elbows on her knees, and covered her face with her hands. Single tears turned to chest-racking sobs and she lay down and curling into a ball. In that position, with tears still falling, Ivy fell into a troubled sleep.
Awww poor Ivy! Why do I do this to her? Because I'm EVIL! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
