*flashback*

We all got out of the van, and I ran over to him. I felt for a pulse. It was barely there but it still counted as a pulse.

"HE'S DEAD!" Mia screeched. "He's dead. Now lets go."

"No he's not." I reply calmly.

"Have you taken a look at him? He's dead."

"Yeah I've seen him, but he's not dead. Not yet at least. There's a pulse."

"Dead people shouldn't have a pulse."

"Exactly."

"Stop him from having a pulse! It isn't normal!"

"Help me carry him into the van. The actual van part."

"Why? We need to get Becky to hospital, she's been shot. We need to help our friend, it's our duty as friends, but we don't need to help out some random."

"This guy has been shot too, multiple times. So Mia, shut the fuck up and help me lift him."

*end flashback*

So that's how we ended up at the hospital, with two people who'd been shot. One in the leg and the other twice in the stomach. The guy might have been hot if, you know, he wasn't covered in blood with multiple gunshot wounds. An obstetrician identified him as Alex Blackburn, his girlfriend (Meg) is having a baby . Meg had been contacted and she is on her way.

Becky is currently in surgery getting the bullet removed and the guy, Alex is in ICU post-surgery. There isn't much they can do for him now, they removed the bullets from his stomach, stitched him up and now he is taking a lot of morphine.

Lucas' POV

We were patrolling the streets, somewhat aimlessly. Then Meg's cell rang.

"Hell-... Speaking.... Oh god... where?... we'll be there immediately." She then hung up, a shocked expression plastered on her face.

"Who was it? Alex?" I asked.

"No. No it wasn't. It was the hospital."

"Did they find Rose?"

"No. They found Alex."

"Alex? But..."

"Someone's shot him. We have to go."

"What about him never seeing your child again? What happened to you being angry at him? Are you forgiving him? After he cheated on you?"

"No. I haven't forgiven him. Not even a little. But he needs me now, and I need to know that he's okay." And with that we drove to the hospital.

We ran into ER and yelled at the receptionist about where to find Alex.

"He's in ICU, it's just down the hall."

"Thanks." Meg said quickly before running to ICU. I followed her at a slower pace but none-the-less followed her. When I reached ICU Meg was already inside and the nurse at the door simply said, "Family only. Take a seat." And gestured towards the waiting area a few meters away.

I sat down next to a girl - pretty but much older - she was covered in blood although she didn't seem hurt.

"Umm hi." She said turning to me.

"Hi." I mumbled.

"Are you with the pregnant chick?"

"Umm yeah why?"

"Because I brought her boyfriend here."

"You brought Alex here? Where was he?"

"On the side of the road, you know, that's where you usually find half-dead bodies."

"He was wha-" I was interrupted by Meg bursting out of the room.

"Clio." She looked at the girl who was sitting next to me. "Take me to where you found him, I think I know where Rose is."

Well thanks to @Im_Just_Becky for helping me with this CROSSOVER CHAPTER!!

So just to clarify this, Clio and Mia and Becky (Not the spaz one. the one who's shot. they are different people) are from @Im_Just_Becky's amazing book I Thought It Was Over.

Also could someone please make me a good cover? I suck at making them so it would be greatly appreciated.
