Meg's POV

He's such an idiot! Leaving an innocent little girl on the side of the road? All because she offended him. How could I have been under the delusion that he would be a good father? Because, NEWSFLASH He's not. 

I was going to find Rose. No matter if I died, I was going to help Rose.

Alex's POV

"Stupid, stupid, stupid!" I yell as I pace up and down our, Meg and mine, room. I just needed to get some of this anger out. I just needed to. I punched the wall, leaving a gaping hole in the plastering.

"The most beautiful girl in my life? Gone, probably never to come back. My child? Gone with her. Alex Blackburn you fucking bastard!" I again punched the wall, now leaving two holes in the wall.

"Okay maybe I did cheat on Meg, once, just once. But that was months ago. But why blow up at Rose? Becuase she exposed me? Yes." I slumped down the wall and sat on the ground. I didn't want them to but tears streamed from my eyes.

I heard someone coming upstairs but didn't bother to move, it was probably Meg coming to get her stuff, but she would have to open the door to get it.

The door opened but it wasn't Meg, instead a girl, not tall but not short, with fiery red hair and dancing blue eyes stood in my doorway.

"Well aren't we just an emotional wreck?" She said in a sickly-sweet voice. "Too bad that pretty face will be all messed up by the time I'm through with you."

I heard a bang, a gunshot. Through the pain I managed to say, "Who are you?"

"Becky. Not Rebecca, Becky."

Then, nothing.

"They are stubborn." I report to my boss.

"No you just aren't being forceful enough. You need some, well, some motivation."

"What about the woman? What's her name? Meg. What about her?"

"No. No one touches her. Anyone who as much as lay a finger on her is dead." With that they dissmissed me.
