When Peter and Melissa got home, they both went up to Andi's room to relax after just having to rush.
"Do you think this is going to work?" Melissa asked, looking over at Peter.
Sighing, Peter shrugged. "Honestly? I don't know… I hope it does, for yours and Andi's sake"
"Do you think I can pull off being Andi?"
He looked over at her and nodded. "Yeah. If I didn't know already then I would have known that you weren't Andi immediately but nobody else knows Andi like I do, so I don't think they'd suspect anything"
Melissa sat up. "You and Andi are really close huh?"
Peter nodded, smiling slightly. "Yeah… I don't even remember what a life without Andi is like, and I never want to know. Although I probably will end up knowing since she's all the way in California now…" He looked down sadly.
"Do you like her? Like more than a friend?" Melissa asked, smirking.
Peter’s eyes widened and he shook his head. "What? No. Andi and I are just friends…"
"Are you saying that you've never had a crush on her?" Melissa could see the way Peter looked at Andi, and she could sense that there was something between them, whether it was current feelings or past feelings, there was something.
Again, Peter smiled slightly. "I mean, I used to have a crush on her, when we were like six… But I grew out of it."
"Are you sure…?"
Peter nodded. "Yep. Andi and I are just friends."
Melissa nodded, though she didn't quite believe him. The two of them hung out in Andi's room for a little while longer before they decided to go to the arcade.
"If you're going to convince people that you're Andi then you're going to need to get better at these games cause Andi always beats everyone" Peter whispered to her after he beat her at yet another game.
Melissa laughed. "It's not my fault I'm not very good at these kinds of games. I'm better at video games, like Playstation games"
"How good are you at Call Of Duty??" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh I'm amazing at it. No one has ever beaten me before."
"That's how Andi is." He smiled. "I would love to see the two of you play against each other someday"
Laughing, Melissa nodded as she went over to another game.

When they got home, they went to go upstairs before they were stopped by Tony.
"Where have you two been?" He asked, walking out of the kitchen.
"We went to the arcade after school," Peter said, shrugging. "Why do you ask?"
Tony raised an eyebrow. "You guys just seemed like you were in a hurry to get upstairs, seemed weird"
Melissa just stood on the stairs, staring at Tony with wide eyes. This was the first time she's seen him since finding out that he was her father… She's waited her whole life to meet him and it killed her that she couldn't tell him who she really was… But if she wanted her family back together and this was the best way to do it…
"You okay Andi?" Tony asked, looking at her confused.
Snapping out of her thoughts, Melissa nodded. "I'm fine" She snapped, though it killed her. This was the way Andi was. The way she needed to be right now. "Just tired from school"
Tony nodded. "Fair enough. What do you guys want for dinner?"
"Tacos?" Melissa asked hopefully.
"Are you going to help make them?" Tony asked, crossing his arms.
Melissa glanced at Peter, who shook his head slightly. "Do I have to?" She also crossed her arms. "Why can't we just hire a chef or something. We're rich, remember?"
"Yes, Andi, I do remember that. The reason we don't have one is because we usually just end up ordering out and there ends up being no need for one" He rolled his eyes.
"Why don't we order tacos from the nearby taco place?" Peter chimed in. "Then everyone's happy. M- Andi-" He caught himself before he said Melissa's name. "-gets her tacos and we don't have to cook at all"
Tony looked between the two of them and then sighed. "Fine, but only if you two do the dishes that are in the sink before dinner"
"Deal" Peter said, panicking about his almost slip up. He grabbed Melissa's arm and pulled her up the stairs. "We're going now!"
"Keep the door open!" Tony yelled up the stairs.
Peter pulled her into Andi's room and shut the door halfway.
"And I thought I was going to be the one that blew our cover!" Melissa whisper yelled, sitting on the bed.
Peter ran a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry! I didn't realize it until I started to say it. At least I caught myself before I did!"
Melissa laid back onto the bed and sighed. "Do you think he suspects anything?"
Peter shook his head. "No, if he did he would have questioned us and not let us come up here until he got answers"
Sighing again, Melissa nodded, covering her face with her hands. "This is going to be so stressful…"

After dinner, Melissa wanted to call it a night since she was so tired from all the stress but since Andi didn't go to bed until midnight, she couldn't do so unless she wanted to raise red flags.
Peter told Tony that he and Melissa were going to go for a walk to get some fresh air, but the real reason was to wake Melissa up a bit so that she didn't fall asleep. Tony didn't think anything of it since Peter and Andi would go for walks sometimes for reasons that Tony didn't know, nor did he care.
"You okay?" Peter asked as he shut the door to the house.
Melissa nodded, rubbing her eyes. "Yeah… I'm just tired. It's been a very stressful day…"
"Tell me about it," Peter sighed. "And it's just going to get worse…"
They walked around until Melissa was more awake, then they went back to the house and decided to go upstairs and play some video games to keep Melissa awake.
When midnight finally rolled around, Melissa was finally able to go to bed. She crawled into Andi's bed and passed out almost immediately, completely unaware of the texts she received from Andi not long later.
