Chapter 20

It was already morning and the sunlight was shining through a big windows into Nicholas's huge bedroom. I woke up in his big king bed and looked around. I was alone there. I looked at the clock. It was almost seven. I stood up from the bed and grabbed my panties and put on Nicholas's white shirt he had on yesterday. I rolled up the sleeves and went out of the room to search for him. I walked down the stairs and I followed a noise of tools when I finally came to the kitchen. I leaned my side on the wall and silently watched Nicholas preparing some meal while whistling to himself. He was wearing only the bottom of his pyjamas, his abs on full display while he was tossing a pancake in the air. I was in awe of his cooking skills.

„One day you will have to tell me where did you learned that." I said and he looked up at me surprised and then he smiled when I came to him.

„I told you. I am French." He said and I wrapped my hands around his neck.

„And I told you that doesn't mean you have to know how to cook." I replied softly kissing his sweet lips. He looked at me amused. „I really like your morning style." He said pointing at my messy hair and looking at my bare legs. „Very sexy." He added pressing another kiss on my lips.

„I like your morning style too." I said gently rubbing my hand on his abs.

„Do you?" he asked me amused.

„Hmm. What a pitty you didn't stayed in the bed for a bit longer." I said to him teasingly and I saw how he swallowed hardly.

„Are you really going to make me regret doing breakfast for my two angels?" he asked me which immediately something snapped in me. Oh my God. I forgot Sofia was in the house too. I took my hands off him quickly.

„Is Sofia already awake?" I asked him looking around and he laughed loudly.

„No she is not." He replied amused at my embarassement. Gosh I have to be carefull. What if she came on to us? It would be so inappropriate to see us like this.

„I have to be at the studios at ten." I said changing the subject quickly and he frowned.

„Then you better go wake up Sofia. You can't leave without the house tour." He said and I laughed.

„You are right." I said and started to walk from the kitchen.

„But I warn you. She is a really tough sleeper. Good luck waking her up." He called behind me.

I came to Sofias bedroom and opened the door quietly. She surely changed a lot in here. I looked at the big bed with white curtains and came closer and watched her sleep piecefully. I smiled to myself. I leaned down to her and tickled her nose with my index finger. She made a funny grimace making me laugh.

„Wake up." I said sweetly and tickled her more on her nose until she opened one of her eyes.

„Good morning sleepyhead." I said smiling at her. When she looked at me a huge smile appeared on her face and she sit up quickly.

„Angie." She said jumping into my arms hugging me.

„Well it wasn't that hard to wake you up." I said remembering Nicholas's warning.

„I missed you." She said scowling at me.

„I missed you too." I replied hugging her again.

„When did you came here?" She asked me showing me her beatiful smile.

„Last night." I replied thinking if it was allright telling her that I spended the night.

„I hope you haven't seen the house yet." She said siriously.

„No. I haven't. I was waiting for you to show me." I replied.

„Great." She exclaimed and jumped out of bed taking my hand leading me out of her room. We made a quick tour of the upstairs and then downstairs as we finally came to the kitchen. I looked around and Nicholas was not there anymore.

„I think papa went to the pool. That is our favorite place to have breakfast now." She said and then was leading me outside to the garden.

„Great timing. I just finished setting the table." Nicholas said when he swom to the edge of the pool resting his hands on the edges showing off his muscly arms.

„Bonjour Papa." She greeted him leaning down to him for her kiss.

„Bonjour mon ange." He replied lovingly. It was so beautiful watching them. I was a little jelous of their beautiful bond. „I am surprised you are actually up." He laughed.

„Yes I don't know what the warning was all about. She was up sooner then I got to say Good Morning." I laughed at him after sitting down to the table.

„Pancakes. My favorite." Sofia exclaimed reaching for a plate with satisfied smile.

„Enjoy your breakfast. I am going to cool myself down a little." Nicholas said winking at me and dived under the water continuing in his swim. I smiled to myself satisfied knowing why he had to cool down.

„Hmm. I love pancakes." Sofia said with full mouth.

„Your dad is a really great cook." I told her.

„Yes he is. He says he learned to cook because he wanted to impress my mommy. She loved his cooking too." She laughed.

„I don't doubt it." I replied smiling at her.

„Who is going to join me here?" Nicholas called after us from the pool when we finished our breakfast. We stood up and came to him.

„I don't have any swimsuit with me. Sorry." I replied pointing on myself still wearing only his white shirt and panties.

„I don't see any problem with that. Do you Sofia?" He replied looking at her resting his hands on the edge of the pool. Suddenly her face lid up with a huge smile.

„No papa. I don't see a problem with that too." She said and suddenly she took my hand while Nicholas quickly reached from the pool for my other one and pulled me right into the pool. I squeaked and quickly hold my breath before I ended up in the water.

„You are unbelievable." I said when I emerged from the water. Nicholas was holding my hand and Sofia was watching us and laughing from the side of the pool.

„And here I thought I will take you with me to the studios today." I said and her face froze.

„Really? You would take me?" she asked me innocently.

„Now I don't know." I replied teasingly.

„It was papa's idea." She said and pointed at Nicholas who raised his eyebrows in surprise.

„Well I know how you can repay that." I said and she looked at me expectadly. I came closer to the edge of the pool and she leaned down to me.

„How?" she asked me and I quickly pull her hand and she ended up in the water right next to me. When she emerged she started to laugh hardly.

„Now we are even." I told her as she splashed some of the water on me which started a splash war.

After our small splash war in the pool I took a quick shower and took Sofia with me to my house to take some clothes to change to. Then we went straigth into the studios where I got her a pass to all places of the set and then we went into my trailer where the hairdresser was already waiting for me.

„Hey. Who do you got here?" Lena the sets hairdresser asked me smiling at Sofia when we walked in.

„Lena this is my friend Sofia LeMair." I introduced her and she raised her eyebrows in recognition.

„As Nicholas LeMair." She asked.

„Yes. He is my papa." Sofia replied to her.

„Well it is really nice to meet you Sofia." Lena greeted her.

„Nice to meet you too." Sofia greeted her back showing her beautiful big smile.

„Here Lena is the sets hairdresser. She is always at my side making sure that my blond wig is in place." I said and Sofia laughed.

„Well I must say that Mr. LeMair has a very beautiful daughter." Lena said to Sofia.

„Hey you guys." Danny's head showed up in the door of my trailer.

„Hi Danny." Sofia greeted him excitedly. She got along with him great when we were at the barbecue at their house.

„I am already dressed up. Do you wanna look around until Angie gets ready?" he asked her stepping into the trailer in his Torch costume.

„Wow." She exclaimed looking at him in awe. „Sure I would love that." She said looking at me for permission. „Go ahead." I told her and they quickly disappeared.

„She is really adorable." Lena told me when I sit down on the chair and she started working on my hair.

„I know. She is." I replied.

„You know you two even look alike? She looks like she could be your daughter." She said and I laughed.

„I wish I had a daughter like her one day." I replied amused thinking that our resemblance must be the reason of me and her mother looking alike.

Sofia had a blast while we were shooting. She got along with everyone on the set and quickly became the sets sweatheart with the stylists, our cast mates and also cameramen becoming her friends. One day she was suddenly sitting on the directors chair looking at the screen with the director standing next to her. She even had him wrapped around her finger. For the next two weeks she was there with me every day and it quickly became our second home.

„How was your day ladies?" Nicholas asked us when we entered their house after another day spended at the set. He packed a kiss on Sofias forehead and then he packed a quick kiss on my lips.

„It was amazing papa. Today they were filming scenes in space. They were on the strings and they had to pretend they were flying in their spaceship." She was talking excitedly.

„Really?" Nicholas asked and looked at me.

„I am really happy I am finally standing on my feet today." I laughed.

„But you can't actually see the strings on the camera. The director showed me how it will look like." She said and continued telling Nicholas about her whole day even during dinner. It was raining outside and we couldn't do anything so we turned on a movie in their big home cinema.

„So what next?" Sofia asked when the movie ended.

„You will go to bed." Nicholas said to her.

„No papa. I am not sleepy yet." She replied. „Besides it is not every day Angie is spending the night here." She begged. I had finally a free weekend and I couldn't wait to spend it with these two lovely people who suddenly became my world.

„Exactly." Nicholas said and I laughed to myself. But I knew he had something totally different on his mind.

„Can we play at least one game of Monopoly." She asked and Nicholas looked at me desperately.

„Come on. We can play one game." I replied and he rolled his eyes.

„Allright, allright. But only one game. And then you will go to sleep. Okay?" he said and she jumped.

„Okay." She replied. „Angie will you go with me to find the game please? I think I still have it in some of my boxes which I didn't unpacked yet." She said.

„Sure." I replied and followed her into her room. Her room was now fuller with her things than when I was here last time. There were some of Leo's paintings on her walls. I saw her walking into her closet while I took a quick look around.

I looked at her desk where she had a picture frames. I came closer and looked at them. She had pictures with her and Nicholas, picture of her and Chloe other with Leo. There was also a picture of her with two women. I didn't recognized them though. Then she had a picture of the two of us what we took when we were at the Studio tours. I smiled when I saw she actually printed it. I then came closer to her bed and noticed only one picture frame on her nightstand. It was bigger then the other ones. There was no doubt it was her mother lovingly hugging her five year old Sofia sitting on her lap. I looked closer. Oh my god she looked so much like me. There was so much love in that one picture. And suddenly a picture in my head snapped.

I was in a hospital room. I felt sweat all over my face. I was exhausted but very happy. I was looking at some nurses turned with their backs to me. And than one of them turned around holding a bundle in her hands walking to me. She stretched her arms to me and gently placed the bundle into my prepared arms.

„Here. Meet your mommy." She said and I looked into my arms.

I was in awe looking at the most beautiful baby I have ever seen sleeping in my arms. A warm feeling of love and joy spreading through my whole body made me forget about my exhaustion. I gently caressed the small sweet and soft cheek and pressed a long kiss on it which I was waiting to do for the whole nine months. I closed my eyes savoring the moment.

„I love you so much. Welcome in our lifes baby." I said proudly and with joy.

The memory faded as quick as it came and I was standing in the room speechless. OH MY GOD. I remembered my baby. 

„I finally found the game. By the way will we go to the riders club tomorrow together?" I heard Sofia asking me. I turned around to look at her. I felt my hands trembling. She was looking at me innocently with her beautiful big hazel eyes.
