(The next day)

Everyday was normal except for that fact Charles and ichika got involved with phantom task again which resulted in ichika unable to use his IS for a day or so.....plus the fact the houki and the others were damaging the school hallway because of who gets to protect ichika which ended by Tatenashi who scolded them with hard labor.....right now in the hanger bay a girl with blue hair working on her IS

?;the drive components are showing poor responsiveness  what's going on?....the core isn't syncing either is this a type incompatibility....I'll just go home and watch anime or something
The girl said as she closes her computer and gets up

Before she could do anything a large metal body knocks her into the ground

?;what th-
The girl stops as she sees a mechanical lion above her

Max;Leo no get off her
Max shouted as he orders Leo to gently get off the girl

Max;I'm so sorry for that I just unlocked him and he's somewhat uncooperative at times
Max said as he helps the girl up

?;it's um fine I've never seen anything like it before is it an IS?
The girl asked

Max looks at Leo as it scratches it's metal wings against a wall
Max;no it's a special function of my IS that allows me to summons him but anyways I don't know your name
Max said as he looks towards her

?;oh my name is kanzashi
The girl said as she heads out the door of the hanger bay

Max;oh okay later kanzashi
Max said as he goes back to improving his IS and Leo

(Time skip)

Later that day max heard from Gudako that ichika tries to ask Kanzashi to be his partner for the up coming IS event but ended up getting rejected....which max laughed at as well as Gudako who saw the event happen...right now max and Gudako were training for the IS event

Gudako fires her missiles towards max while she aims her beam cannon
Gudako;I've got you this time!!!
Gudako said as she fires her cannon

Max uses his shield to block the beam from Gudako's rifle while he uses his hydra to block her missiles with his own

Max;sorry Gudako but your forgot Leo!
Max said as he flies up to show behind max was Leo with its wings and cannons extended

Leo roars as it fires two large beams towards Gudako

Gudako moves out of the way from Leo's beams but gets kicked into the ground by max who flew towards her at great speed

Gudako;hey it's not fair your using Leo
Gudako said as she gets up and she pats Leo on it's head

Max;well he is part of my IS
Max said as he crossed his arms

As they talk he sees ichika and kanzashi talking
Max knew that Tatenashi had something to do with it but it's wasn't his problem anyways

(The next 2 days)

Today is the day for the IS event and the first match is houki and Tatenashi vs ichika and kanzashi but before the match could event start 6 unknown IS units start to attack the arena and anyone with a personal IS.....max and Gudako were fighting off 2 unmanned IS

Max;damnit this is like the accident during Rin and ichika's match
Max said as he uses his sword to block one of the IS attack

Gudako;but theses things must have improve
Gudako said as she and Leo attack the second unmanned IS

Max summons his spear and with both his spear and sword he manages to remove the armor protecting the core of the IS...max uses the opportunity to strike the core by throwing his spear towards the core....but the IS grabs it but max uses his momentum and his speed to push the spear into the core by using his foot to give the spear the push

Gudako and Leo manages to defeat their opponent most Leo by it ripping the unmanned IS to pieces
Gudako;okay now what?
Gudako asked as she sees houki,rin,Charles,Laura,Cecilia,kanzashi,ichika and Tatenashi fight the remaining IS

Max gets into Leo's back as his spear disappears while he summons his shield
Max;well we'll give them some help
Max said as he and Leo charges to help the others

Gudako went to help rin and Cecilia while max goes to help houki,Tatenashi,ichika and kanzashi with 2 IS that have combined

Max;kanzashi get down!!
Max shouted as Leo fires 2 large beams towards the IS while he uses his 2 buster cannons that were on his sides

kanzashi moves out of way as the beams hit the IS causing it to go into a wall allowing the others to fight it on an even ground
