Bea's To Do List #6: Keep Len from assuming things about Noah and I

    "So how's Noah doing?"

    "Don't even."

    "What did I say?"

    "It's not what you said, it's how you said it."

    "Fine, how did I say it wrong?"

    "You said it like I was making out with him in the prop closet. That's something only you and Eric do."

    "How did you know about that!"

    "It's my theater, I know everything."

    "I totally underestimated you."

    "And I totally underestimated your insanity."

    "Oh you love my insanity. But come on, we both know you and Noah have chemistry. Everyone can see it."

    "There's nothing to see!"

    "Don't be naive."

    "He and I are allies now, nothing else."

    "That's what Bellamy and Clarke said..."

    "Nothing truly romantic has happened between them and you know it! You're totally ignoring the chemistry Clarke had with Lexa before everything happened. There's a reason she and Bellamy have never gotten together."

    "Lexa is gone, get over it! And remember how Bellamy searched for Clarke? There's serious potential there. Not to mention, every romantic rival Bellamy has had like Wells and Finn and Lexa have gone away. Bellarke is totally endgame for the show."

    "You're just blinded by the bisexual thing. You want Clarke to fit into a nice little box and be with Bellamy because he's a boy. If she had the interactions she had with Bellamy with a girl, you wouldn't think anything of it!"

    "I am not! I have no reason to want Clarke to conform. If I thought there was a girl who was as good for Clarke as Bellamy is, I would be okay with that. It's the chemistry and the quality of the person, not the gender. Besides, she's queer. There's a difference."

    "I can't believe I'm friends with a Bellarke shipper. Have you not seen what Bellamy has been doing? He's wacked."

    "Believe me, if I had known you would end up being a Clexa shipper, we would have never become friends. And Bellamy was just doing what he thought was right! He always had strong beliefs and sometimes it leads him the wrong way. He'll fix things with Octavia, I know it."

    "Oh whatever. I second that shipping thing."

    "Anyway, back to Noah. There could be something there someday?"

    "Doubtful. But even if there is the tiniest possibility, I am nowhere near close to being able to get into a relationship. I just need to finish this year solo."

    "I can understand that. Senior year is weird, like everyone is all nostalgic and wanting to hook up with people before they can't anymore but you don't want to start anything serious."

    "Exactly."

    "He'd be a cute prom date though."

    "Okay, I will give you that."

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating yesterday. I took my AP Calc final from 8-12 (it was a mock AP test) and then had prom that night so had to get ready. But here is the update (it's one of my favorite chapters so far and one of the few Len/Bea dialogue chapters I've ever written)!

Also, in case you hadn't heard (or didn't care), I decided what college I'm going to go to next year! I am going to Sarah Lawrence College in New York. It's so exciting!
