Before this chapter begins I would like to mention some bad news. I'm gonna be travelling to my hometown tomorrow. I may not have internet for a while to upload maybe.

Date: 3rd July, Saturday

Taiyou's POV

This time for sure we can immobilize Raimon. If Tenma is the key to stopping Grid Omega, then if he is far enough he won't be able to make it in time to stop it. I called out to my teammates as we started phase two of the tactics. We were staying away not to get caught up in the whirlwind but Tenma approached the whirlwind with his avatar out and went in.

I couldn't believe he would go in to stop it. But it was likely too late the whirlwind had already processed into phase three and rose to a tornado. All of them should had gotten caught in it even Tenma. It was too late to stop it and that defense technique would not be able to stop it now. I stood by and watched the tornado go wild.

Just then the red tornado was quickly eliminated by a new light blue one which was a lot stronger. "What is that?" I mumbled as my eyes widen in surprise.

The new tornado dialed down softly to the ground as it disappeared. It made sure all players landed safely.

"Unbelievable Raimon has once again avoided the Grid Omega!!" The commentator announced in excitement.

There was all the members of Raimon lost in dizziness all collapsed together with no severe injuries and again Matsukaze Tenma standing in the middle as if nothing had occurred.

"Looks like Matsukaze has once again broken through Outei's Tactics. How will they get past Raimon now?" The commentator announced.

"Matsukaze Tenma? Who are you really?" I mumbled in excitement.

"How is it possible? How did he stop it again?" Hiroshi asked.

"I don't know, but I think we can't use this strategy anymore." I replied to him. Just then our eleven band received a message. It was from Coach.

"Looks like Grid Omega V2 has failed. Feel free to follow the captains orders for now"

All of my teammates turned to me after reading. Looks like Coach wants me lead the team for now. I looked over to him seeing him a bit pleased. I guess Tenma impressed him. Not once but twice.

Raimon players got up and got ready by going to their positions. We still had the ball held by us so we continued the match by breaking past the midfielders but #6 stopped Kinsuke and stole the ball. But his movements were a bit slow so we stole the ball back and approached once again.

Suddenly Tenma stopped me.

"It was a horrible tactics, you know." He spoke angrily.

"Yet It never harmed your team at all, surprisingly." I smiled at him.

"I care about my team. It hurts to see their dreams get destroyed." He glared. "Because of you some of them could get injured severely. Will you be able to watch that happened to your teammates?" He asked me.

I hesitated before anwering . "No but-"

Tenma cut me off before I could say anything more. "Even if it's to win, can you watch your teammates suffer?" He asked again. I looked over to the other side to see Raimon had stolen the ball back moved on offense to attack us.

"Umito-!" I tried to call out to my teammate as I tried to move away, but was cut off by Tenma again.

"I won't let you get away. One thing I know for sure is that Outei need their Captain." Tenma kept his cover on me, stopping me from playing.

"You really are something, Tenma" I told him with a smile. I never had met an opponent this tough.

I looked back to see their forwards had received the ball and broken past the defense.

"Tosamaru Protect the goal!" I screamed.

"Are you sure he will be able to protect it?" Tenma asked me.

"What?" I said

"Raimon's Tsurugi uses Death drop. Will Outei be able to stop it? " The Commentator screamed.

Tosamaru used his HC, Start Reflection to stop the shoot but was immediately broken past.

"And Raimon takes the first point!" Commentator screamed.

"No matter how many times you use your tactics, I will make sure we will break through them." Tenma said as he walked away to his team. I went back to my team as they all were standing there as they lost hope.

I clapped my hands and got their attention. "Come on guys it's only one point." I told them.

"Taiyou's right guys. It's only one point we still have a chance to break past them to score." Tosamaru supported.

Tosamaru and I hyped up the team before we went back to out positions. I could feel the intense glare from Tenma. As we kicked off we made sure to tighten our defense before proceeding to attack them.

As we carefully went past the midfielders, I was stuck by Tenma who wouldn't budge at all. Every chance of ball I got, he steals the ball and pass to his teammates. It was getting a bit annoying honestly so I decided to release my avatar to at least keep the score even before half time.

As I received a ball from my teammate from the throw in I went past the midfielders to the defenders. I used HO, Rogue press and got past to the defenders. I released my avatar in front of the goal and called out my HS, Sunshine Force.

Their goalkeeper used their HC but was unable to stop the shoot. As I absorbed my avatar, I turned to see Tenma with a glare still. No puzzling look. Just plain angry.

The whistle blew as the first half ended. Our team returned to the locker room to rest.

"Taiyou, I have a question." Coach Nosaka approached me and asked.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Why did Grid Omega fail?" He asked tilting his head. I paused for a while as I thought about it. Both times when we used it Tenma stopped it somehow.

"It was because of Matsukaze Tenma. He always find a way to break past it." I answered him.

"Then what should you do?" He asked me. Although Grid Omega was never used in any other matches since I was injured. But this team still won without me and the tactics before. So we can still win.

"I will do my best to win without using that strategy." I said to him.

After my response he smiled and asked another questioned. "It is quite puzzling though. I didn't tell any of you to use this before till this match today so how did Tenma figure to break past?"

I looked away as I thought about it. This was last used nine years ago and the only people who broke it though once was Inakuni Raimon, with the help of Haizaki Ryouhei. But Tenma knew a break through somehow. The Coach they have could have also helped them out, but when we first used it during the game he looked shocked.

So how did Tenma broke through it?

Tenma's POV

"Ow" I winced on pain as Aoi put the ice on my ankle.

"If you were injured you should had said something." Aoi scolded me.

"Sorry I didn't want Taiyou to realize it. He's quite observant." I told her.

"Matsukaze! How did you know that was Grid Omega?" Coach asked me.

"Are you kidding? Who wouldn't know that? Seishou still fears that. It was over the internet when we search up Outei. That tactic from 9 years ago was still one of the worse tactics after Afuro Terumi's God Knows!" Haru ranted

"Is it really that strong?" Hayami whimpered.

"Of course, it was one of the most horrifying tactics ever used by them. They made Seishou forfeit by immobilizing them." Haru sighed.

"Well, thank you Tenma. For stopping it. Twice." Kirino tapped my shoulder gently.

"Of course but I think I went too far." I winced in pain.

"Yeah, I don't think I can let you play like this" Coach said as he was about to switch me.

"NO! Wait Coach. Don't bench me at all please." I stood up and cried out. 

"But we can't-" He spoke but I cut him off.

"The reason they probably haven't executed Grid Omega again is because I am there. If you take me off the team this whole team will be in danger." I try to convince him. He paused as he thought about it. He held the bridge of his nose thinking.

He sighed before speaking. "Alright, I will keep you on the team. But I can't have you moving around and making your injury worse."

"What are you gonna do?" Shindou asked.

Taiyou's POV

As the second half was about to start we all went into our positions. As I scanned the opponents I noticed someone really off. Tenma. He was no longer a midfielder but a defender. 'Did they move Tenma so we would not be able to pull him away? Damn it.' I thought.

It was our kick off so Umitomo and Hiroshi passed the ball to me. We decided to go on offense and attack them before hand. But as I was approaching with the ball #9 stole it using his HD. He passed the ball over to the forward who shot the shoot last time. He quickly slid past the defense and was ready to shoot.

This time he released his avatar and shot the ball. Tosamaru immediately released his as well and stopped the shoot completely. I sighed in relief as he protected the goal. With the ball in our hands we proceeded to attack them again.

We were able to get past the midfielders and approached the defenders. Umitomo passed the ball to me and #3 stood in front of me to stop me what I released my avatar and got past him. I used the same HS again. But the current goalkeeper; Shinsuke released his avatar and stopped the shoot.

I was a bit surprised my Shinsuke's avatar. But it all went to excitement. As the ball was passed to #4 they passed the ball quickly to the front. It was their turn to attack. I immediately signal everyone to tighten the defense. Raimon's #9 approached the midfielders and slip past them.

#9 passed the ball over to to #10 who was on the far right. He used a HS and shot to the goal but Tosamaru released his avatar to stop the shoot. But the shoot curved and went for #11 who slid past the defense. He called out his HS and he shot the ball.

'A chain shoot?!'

Tosamaru put his hand front to stop the shoot but as the ball was spinning in his hands it bounced out and hit the goalpost and got in.

"Excellent teamwork by the forwards of Raimon. Raimon is in the lead once again. Will Outei be able to take the lead?" The commentator announced. 

Raimon was now in the lead with two goals and we were behind by one goal. The game continued with our kick off and attacking them carefully to score a goal. We could not lose this game. I approached the front of the goal but Tenma stood in front and stopped me.

I released my avatar to break my way through, but he did the same. "Majin Pegasus Arc" he called out. 'His avatar had evolved. What the heck?' I thought.

I tried to break past him but I was immediately tackled by him and lost the ball.
He passed the ball to his captain and looked back at me with a smirk. The match was starting to feel good. The game continued with us defending hard and also them. When Umitomo tried to get past the defense their defense used HT stop us.

Before I knew time was running out and we were going to lose against Raimon. I want to take the lead and win with the team. But we cannot find an opening from Raimon. They all were working together effectively and with a tightened defense. 

'Wait, tightened defense? ' I thought as I looked over at Tenma. 'Why was he moved to the defense? I know we can't use grid Omega because of him but letting him stay as a midfielder would had been more effective.'

I watched as Hiroshi approached Tenma with the ball. As Tenma was tackling him he seemed to be in pain. As Hiroshi slid past #4 covered for Tenma. Tenma looked at his foot and walked away slowly not to get in the way. I saw his facial expression seem to be stressed out. He must had injured his leg when he stopped Grid Omega.

"They didn't move Tenma to defense to make him be able to stop grid omega. They moved him there because he was injured." I spoke out loud. I smirked as I strategized.

As the ball went in from a throw in from Raimon, I quickly stole the ball and gathered to my teammates.

"We are doing Grid Omega!" I told them.

"What? Why?" They asked in confusion.

"No time to explain follow me." I said as I went to the center. I extended my hand as both Hiroshi and Umitomo ran towards the opponents. The thick red wind covered them all as we proceeded. I looked over to Tenma who was yelling in distress.

'Checkmate Tenma!'

Tenma's POV

"NO NOT AGAIN" I screamed as I started to run but stopped because of the pain in my ankle. 

"Tenma, Don't! Even if you can stop it we can't let you do this." Shinsuke yelled to me. I heard the scream of the others who were getting caught up in it.

"I have to go..." I screamed to him.

"Tenma!" He called out my name.

"I'm sorry, but I just can't stand here and do nothing." I screamed to him as I ran towards the whirlwind. I could feel the pain in ankle hurting a lot but I just ignored it and pushed myself more. As I entered the whirlwind once again, it was about to pull me off the ground but I released my avatar and was about to arm when I heard some noise from my eleven band.

"Matsukaze! Whatever your trying to do stop!" I heard Coach speak. "I promised Endou that I will take you guys to the Finals that means everyone together and no one left behind." I gulped as i listened to him.

"Tenma! Please listen to Coach don't do it" Aoi spoke as well. Looks like even Aoi is worried. But would it truly be worth it? Would it truly be better to seeing the team be crushed instead of my self? No... one person as a sacrifice is better than everyone.

"Armed" I said as the avatar split up and covered my body. I could hear the constant yelling from the eleven band telling to stop. But I can't stop here...

I went to the middle of the tornado as it had gone up. I called out the Hissastu Tactics from before. I rotated in the opposite direction from the tornado's rotation. I dragged my right leg across the red wind as quick as possible creating a blue tornado. 

"Destructive Hurricane!" I called it out. This was HS, I kept in secret but there was no other way to stop it. I screamed in pain as I dragged my ankle around through the tornado. Luckily the hurricane stopped grid omega and I slowly stopped it to make sure everyone landed safely. 

My armed avatar disappeared as I started panting in exhaustion.

I put my foot down and winced in pain...

My vison started to blur...

The sounds became feint...

The field suddenly rotated...

Everything turned black...
