Date: 13th May, Thursday

Shindou's POV

Kirino and I were heading home from practice all worn out. We were having small conversations about the Teikoku. As we were walking a ball came launching at us at high speed. I was able to react to it and return the ball by a shot.

"Who's there?" I asked as the ball landed near at the foot of a masked person. He was wearing a black and white jersey. There was another player next to him as well look a bit rather relaxed. They both were wearing white mask with holes infront of there eyes but nothing but black color appeared in that area. They both had a symbol on the fore head of the mask. Some familiar looking symbols.

"Shindou Takuto" The guy who seemed to have long black hair in a ponytail spoke. "My name is Leo and I'm going to crush Raimon"

"What do you mean you're going to crush Raimon?" I asked him.

"We are from fifth sector. And we are going to eliminate Raimon members one by one. It seemed that you guys didn't get the memo?" He answered.

"What are you talking about?" Kirino asked him a bit angry as well.

"Fifth sector controls the games from now and you were given a simple card of the score that must be kept. But you just kept breaking that rule we were given am order to eliminate the team members one by one" The guy next to Leo answered. He had short dirty blonde hair. 

"Starting with you." Leo said as he shot a ball towards us again. I stopped the shot though. It was quite strong, I would had almost be not able to get up if it shot my body.

"Since it is quite rude to crush you all immediately let me have some fun. Lets do a 2 vs 2." Leo spoke in arrogance. He pissed me off a bit now.

They had taken us to the riverbed and started a match of duo vs duo. We had a time limit of 30 minutes. Whoever can score the most goals won. Even though me and Kirino were confident we were gonna win but these two were a lot stronger than we thought. They had gotten past us and scored 3 goals already.

"You know what this is getting a bit boring you know, lets change it a bit" Leo said as he shot a HS, Lion's Roar against Kirino. He couldn't react in time and got hit by the ball and went flying.

"You bastard" I said as I started running towards him but since the ball bounced back from Krinio to him, he shot the ball at me. I got hit in the chest and let out a groan. That's when they started to play unfair and started to beat us using the soccer ball. Krinio was unable to move because of the amount of shots he's taken.

"Look at that your friend is there crumbling like a piece of paper and you cant even do anything about it" Leo spoke as he looked down on me.

"You!" I mumbled.

"Do you really think you can stop us? So pathetic I have seen those first years do better than you All you can do is just stand there trembling in sight of the avatar that appears before you!" Leo reminded of us from the previous game we played. He was making my blood boil.

"As a captain do you really think you can protect your team when you can't even protect your best friend" He said as he jumped in the air and shot a another HS against Kirino. That was a last straw I couldn't just lay down while my best friend getting hurt. I stood up with all the energy I had left, somehow I felt something in me making me feel lighter. 

"If you think you can block my shot then GO AHAEAD AND DO IT. SHOW ME YOUR TRUE POWER SHINDOU TAKUTO" He yelled out as he shot his HS, Lion's Roar  towards me. I felt power surging through my body and jumped to stop the shoot. It felt a lot different than before it was less power less than before. I blocked the shoot and shot it across the field into the goal.  I landed on the ground as I panted. The energy I had in the moment then disappeared. 

"Shindou?" Kirino called out my name and I turned to him. "You have an avatar?" Kirino asked with a shocked face.

"Indeed he does. Seems like crushing Raimon has to wait a bit longer. Goodbye for now Shindou Takuto" He said as he disappeared into the shadows under the bridge along with his friend. Kirino walked up to me and sat next to me.

"You had an avatar?" he asked me. I was pretty confused cause I don't think I ever had an avatar.
"What do you mean?" I asked Kirino.

"I saw it as I opened my eyes when Leo yelled. You had a black purplish aura coming out of you like an avatar" He explained what he saw.

"Are you sure?" I asked to confirm it.

"Yes I'm sure it disappeared the moment you landed on the ground." He explained. The energy I gained and lost at the moment might had been my avatar. I was able to stop the shoot that was unstoppable in a second and even shoot it back.

"It had the appearance like a maestro holding a baton. It was amazing Shindou." Kirino described my avatar.

"If you think so, I'll believe it. How did I even do it?" I asked my self.

"Let's head home for now we can ask Tsurugi about it tomorrow" Kirino said. I helped Kirino get up and lend him my shoulder to lean on.  We headed home slowly as we were both injured. We couldn't both go to school the next day though, cause our bodies were numb from the pain.

Date: 16th May, Saturday

Tenma POV

Shindou stated that he could use and avatar. Which quite shocked everyone including me. This was really sudden. Coach Endou asked him how he was able to do it. He said that someone who claimed that they were from the fifth sector came and challenged the both of them. Someone from fifth sector attacking members of the club is common a bit but they wont leave unless they make sure that the member had ultimately given upon football. that probably wasn't fifth sector. Shindou said that they were wearing some sort of white masks with symbols on the forehead.

"I dont think that was fifth sector. " Shuu whispered in in my ear.

"Yeah, they are not that nice" I replied.

The second half started with Teikoku in the lead. We had to score two more goals to turn the game around. Coach had decided to trust Shindou and let them play the game with out me and Shuu. If they can't turn the game around by ten minutes then me and Shuu will substitute.

Shindou POV

Before I got to my position I decided to ask Tsurugi about the avatar. I wasn't able to control it much when I tried to release it when i was practicing in secret.

"Hey, do you think you can give an advice?" I asked him.

Tsurugi seemed hesitant but did say something. "Just try having one goal in mind. You're using it to protect someone or the goal" He said.

When he said that it reminded me when I got furious when Kirino was hurt. I couldn't let that happened again. Neither to him nor my friends. I inhaled and let out my breathe and calmed down and walked to my position.

As the game started with our kick off Tsurugi passed the ball over to Hakuruyuu. Hakuruyuu went past the midfielders to defenders before Kurama called out or a pass. As Kurama lost the ball to #6 I approached him to take it back. After taking the ball I ran over to the middle, two defenders were there ready to block me but I had one thing in my mind I needed to score a goal for the team. As I felt an energy pass through me I released it all to form and aura behind me.

An Avatar appeared from me. I called out "Sousha Maestro" Sousha Maestro had four arms on each side of him. On it's right side he held two conductor batons on one of his hands. He wore a purple tuxedo with a white cloth tucked inside him.  His appearance was based on a conductor with turquoise wavy hair.

As everyone was frozen in surprise I shot the ball towards the surprised team. The defenders wasn't able to block it in time. I scored a goal for the team and tied the score. Now all we had to do was stop them from being able to score and score one more goal.

Everyone's spirit got lifted with that one single goal. With everyone psyched we were able to stop them from getting to our side of the field. #11 once again used his avatar to break past us but Tsurugi came in and released his avatar and stole the ball away. He then proceeded to pass the ball over to Hakuruyuu. As soon as Hakruyuu got the ball he used his same HS to make a goal. The goalkeeper ran to the right to stop the shoot, but as the ball was heading for the goal it curved towards Kurama on the other side. Kurama used his HS, Sidewinder and shoot chained with Hakuryuu's HS. With double the power it went right through.

We were in the lead. Now all we had to do was stop them from scoring past us. The game continued like that until time ran out. We were actually able to win the game against Teikoku. All of my friends came to me and hugged me down. All of them rambling about my avatar and everything. As I looked over to ahkuryuu, Hamano and Kurama approched him. They both pat Hakuruyuu on his back for that curved shot. That was absolutely amazing. We did it. We were finally in the district finals. After the finals we will finally be in the football frontier tournament.

??? POV

"This is exactly as Leo predicted. Shindou managed to master the avatar."

"So who should we attack next?"

"No one for now. We will wait for Leo's Orders. He makes the call."

My teammates and I looked over Raimon winning the match against Teikoku. According to Leo Shindou had the ability to release an avatar. He just needed a slight push.

"Let's go we got to get back to practice, or Leo's gonna be mad." I said as I walked out from the bleachers. The rest of them followed me after groaning bit. You can't blame them though, because Leo's training were quite tough.
