Date: 4th May, Tuesday.

Tenma's POV

'God this is so hard' I thought as I struggled on the question. I was revising for the math's test in the library. Today we had Japanese. I was pretty confident in Japanese so I had nothing to worry about. Tomorrow was the Maths Test and I haven't made any progress in the self test sheet. I was here all alone struggling. Usually I'd be with Aoi but she must have lost me when I ran out the classroom today.

I was using all of my brain but I could not solve this problem. I was so worn out, it had been an hour and I was still on the first question. Suddenly someone slammed their hand on the desk and startled me. It was Aoi who seemed to be a bit out of breathe.

"This is where you been all this time? I have looked all over the school to find you. The soccer club, the auditorium, the other classrooms and you are actually sitting here revising for the test in the library. Unbelievable!" Aoi rambled on as she was quite upset and out of breathe.

"I clearly stated at the club yesterday that I wanted to skip practice to revise for the exams so why did you not think of the library as the first choice?" I reminded her.

"I didn't think you were serious" she replied as she took a seat in front of me. I got a bit annoyed by the fact she actually thought I was joking. As annoyed as I was I couldn't let it distract me from studying.

"Tomorrow's Math right?" She asked me staring at my self test sheet.

"Yeah, but I don't know Math so I'm stuck. What subject do you excel in?" I asked her.

"History, you?" She responded.

"Science..." I replied as I laid my head on the table.

"I'm terrible at Maths too so I don't think I can help at all." Aoi responded.

"There you two are" a familiar voice turned our heads. It was Shinsuke, approaching us out of breathe.

"I was looking all over for you Tenma. I looked at the club and every classroom." He spoke while panting slightly. I lifted my head up to meet his eyes.

"I said I wanted to study so your first option should had been the library" I reminded him feeling a bit annoyed.

"oh I didn't think you were serious" he said. I dropped my head on to the desk as Shinsuke said the same thing Aoi said. 

"So what are you guys doing?" Shinsuke asked curiously.

"He's trying to learn math for the test tomorrow but he doesn't know math and neither do I." Aoi replied to Shinsuke.

"Oh yeah, what do you excel in Shinsuke?" I asked a bit curious. Considering the fact that he's actually a pretty cheerful guy he must like something like maths if he does I could ask him for-

"I'm pretty good at archaeology" Shinsuke replied with confidence.

'Oh lord have mercy' I prayed in my head.

"Since when did we go to the Jurassic park?" I asked sarcastically.

"Hey, Dinosaurs are pretty awesome" He said as he walked over to the seat next to mine and sat down. "They maybe extinct but they are so cool. If they were alive, they would like the size of our school, like -"

"Shinsuke, i get that you love Dinosaurs but its not gonna help on our exams tomorrow." I spoke over him, while putting my hand on his shoulder.

"oh...ahhh.." We all sighed together again. After a few moments of silence, someone broke it.

"Oh hey what are you guys doing?" Kariya approached us carrying a book in his hand over his shoulder. He observed what was on table. "Are you guys studying for the exams tomorrow?" He asked us.

"yeah, you?" I responded, noticing the book on his shoulder.

"Hell no!" He said as he walked away with a smug. I grabbed him by the collar and pulled him back to our desk.

"What the hell man?" Kariya asked really startled.

"Kariya, do you know what happens if you don't pass your tests?" Shinsuke asked him.

"no. Why? What happens?" Kariya questioned.

"The school will make you do a makeup test until you pass." Aoi responded.

"That doesn't sound so bad" Kariya replied.

"They will stop you from participating in the club activities, including the tournaments." I responded back in a serious tone.

Kariya's smug face faded as the realization kicked in. He sat down next to Aoi like the rest of us. We all sighed together once again.

"Why are you carrying a book with you if you weren't gonna study?" Shinsuke asked curious about the book he was carrying.

"This is a manga book" he replied.

Nnother moment of awkward  silence passed. Just then I remembered I know the perfect guy to help us with out Maths test tomorrow.

A few moments later in classroom 1-1

"I'm sorry but I'm not good at tutoring" Tsurugi said as he was packing his bag. All of us just stood there in a dazed as we realized our test for tomorrow was already decided with an F on it. 

"But if you guys do want a tutor for Maths then I would suggest that you ask-" Tsurugi's sentence was cut off midway when a loud voice interrupted.

"DID SOMEONE SAY MATHS??" 

We all turned our heads in the direction  of the loud voice. A girl with blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a yellow cardigan standing behind the teachers desk.

"Who is that?" Aoi asked in a bit startled. She got closer to me from behind since it startled her.

"Our class President, Tsumugi" An unrecognized voice spoke from behind us. I turned around to see a guy with short, bluish-purple hair and who had a gentle smile on his face.

"Oh hey Kageyama" Shinsuke greeted normally.

"Hello" He greeted back. I guess a friend of Shinusuke.

"I'm sure that I heard you says Maths, Kyousuke." The blonde haired girl approached Tsurugi so close that their faces were a few inches apart from each other.

'Oh my god first name calling? could she have a crush on Tsurugi , Oh my god  Drama. Forget the test let me watch this god'. I thought as I found something that's pretty amusing.

"You got to stop calling people by their first name, they might get uncomfortable" Tsurugi said as he was feeling a bit awkward. He's probably a bit shy after having his name called out by girl. I know how that feels.

"What do you mean uncomfortable? Tenma does it make you uncomfortable?" Everyone turned to be in astound to why this girl just called me by my first name like it was normal.

'Okay god when I asked for drama this wasn't what i was asking for' I thought before speaking.

"I'm sorry, I don't even know who you are to be on first name basis" I said blankly.

"He doesn't even know you, Haru." Tsurugi responded back to her calling her by her first name perhaps. 

"Oh look who's talking when he said not to call him by his first name" She responded back.

'YES GOD YES' I squealed in my head.

"I'm only calling you my your first name cause you keep calling me by my first name"

"well if that's what you want then I hope you enjoy me calling you Kyousuke-Kun"

'OH MY GOD the most dramatic Kun at the end. Girls add that when they like someone' I thought like a girl who just came across her favorite ship.

"i dont really care, Haru-chan" Tsurugi just said casually.

'Ohhhhhhhhhh He's playing fire with Fire.'

"..."

".."

"Anyways I heard you guys needed a tutor?" Tsumugi asked us.

'There goes my excitement.' I thought as the scene was over.

"Yeah tomorrow we have Math and we found out none of us is good at Maths" Shinsuke told her.

"Well isn't today your lucky Day? Because I am a Math Queen" Tsumugi said in a really hyped voice.

"No one calls you that" Tsurugi interrupted her.

'So she's been making up nicknames for her self. Great.'

"Come one follow me me lads for I will make sure to make you pass the test with flying colors." She said with confidence and in the tone of a pirate.

She led us away from the classroom to another classroom on the third floor. It was one decorated with a lot of arts and crafts. Posters, paper crafts, paint, spray cans and sketchbooks you name it, anything related to art was found here. This must be the art club.

"Hope you don't mind the masterpieces, this is an art club so it can be quite relaxing and stressful at the same time."

"How can it be stressful?" Kariya asked.

"Please don't ask about it." Tsumugi said in a ticked of voice.

We all grabbed a desk and took a seat in front of the board. Tsumugi grabbed some chalk box from the back of the classroom. Why was there a chalkboard instead of a regular white board? Cause its the art club so they thought it will be quite creative for the art club members. As she came over to the board, she started talking about the first topic we had on Maths. Factorization. As she started writing on the board she stopped an pointed at Tsurugi.

"Why are you here?" Tsumugi asked Tsurugi.

"To learn? I thought that's why we all are here" Tsurugi replied.

"Yeah they are, NOT YOU. Why are you here?" She asked once again.

'Here we go again YES'

"I just wanna get better at Math" He responded back.

"Aren't you already good at that?"  She asked.

"Its not bad to achieve higher" He replied back.

"But since your already this good then -" She was declaring before getting interrupted.

"Oh for the love of god STOP! We have a Math test tomorrow and we only have 2 hours until the school closes." Kariya yelled in distress. Tsumugi ended their quarrel and went back to teaching.

For the next 2 hours, we all got help from Tsumugi who was actually pretty good at explaining the problems. What a angel. Let me pray to the lord for sending one. Tsumugi actually helped out all of us and got us ready for the exam tomorrow. We did a self test and actually passed with a score above 60%.

Date: 5th May, Wednesday.

As the last bell rang, Aoi, Shinsuke and Me headed over to class 1-1 and head over to Tsumugi. We all hugged her in happiness. It was over. The test was over and I have a chance of score above 75%. Feels good to be free from the exa-

"You still have History tomorrow, you know?" Tsumugi interrupted as we were all dancing from joy. As we all froze in shock and realized the exams aren't completely over. We stared at Tsumugi with puppy eyes until she said what we all wanted to hear.

"Looks like you guys could use a History Queen" She said with a smug. We all cheered in joy once again.

Until the week ended, we all studied together at the library or in the art club. With all of us in high spirits none of us got distracted by other things. Except some of the weird statues or crafts that showed up in the club room from day to day. Tsumugi just claimed it was just one of the upper classmates works from lunchtime. We all thought it was quite weird but still continued to revise. We all had some crazy bonding time as we all learned some fun things about each other.

Kariya was from Ohisama Enn an Orphanage. He was actually gonna go to Eisei Gakuen but he prefer Raimon cause he admired the school when he was younger. And it was one of his dreams.

Kageyama was actually the nephew of Kageyama Reiji. What a shocker! I never expected Kageyama Reiji to have a sister. I wonder if the coach let him on the team knowing he was his nephew. Shinsuke said that he was pretty good and had an amazing shooting power.

Tsurugi's older brother Yuuichi was actually chosen for the Inazuma Japan Team. He was actually gonna be going pro soon officially. He had been chosen but was still in training for his debut later this year.

Tsumugi and Tsurugi knows each other because their moms know each other. No wonder they don't seem to get along with each other sometimes. Tsumugi's aunt was actually married to one of the players in the Inazuma Japan, Kira Hiroto. So technically she was his niece. All of us were actually in quite shock with this information.

Date: 10th May, Monday.

As Monday rolled by we all got our results back. I passed all of my tests. Oh yeah, dodged a bullet there. The reason I worked so hard was actually because my mom sent me a letter stating that if I failed my exams then she will move me back to Okinawa even if it means dragging me in person.

Even though we all were surprised at our grades what surprised all of us was Tsumugi's grade. The Perfect 100 out of 100. She was number 1 in the whole grade. She showed us her score sheet while standing on her chair while laughing hysterically. I was ranked 34 out of the whole grade. the rest of them were:

Shinsuke: 36 out of 130

Aoi: 29 out of 130

Kariya: 45 out of 130

Kageyama: 41 out of 130

Tsurugi: 10 out of 130

It was quite impressive of Tsurugi to be in the top ten honestly. Now that the exams were over we all could head back to the club. As we all went back to the club having a conversation together, we realized someone who wasn't in our club coming with us. Tsumugi.

"Haru-chan, we are done with the exams and we are heading over to our club so why are you still following us? " Aoi said.

"Oh, you will understand why when we reach there." She said with a smirk.

She walked in front of us as we were left baffled to what she meant. As we walked iver to the meeting room everyone was there waiting. God i missed this room. And everyone else. As Coach Endou saw us first years arrive he got everyone's attention with his voice.

"Alright since everyone is gathered please take your seats" Endou exclaimed.

"Now I'm sure on the last meeting I announced that we lost our sponsor. Terrible news from last week but good news from this week." He declared. That's when Tsumugi started to walk towards to the front and stood next to Endou.

"I'd like you to welcome Tsumugi Haru, a new manager to the team. As well as our new sponsor's Daughter." Endou announced.

A gasp went out of all the first years mouth in surprise.

Author's Note

I did not think this chapter would take this long to write. I usually hit a 1000 words before ending every chapter. This chapter mostly contained conversations, since soccer wasn't involved at all.

I feel like some chapter's like this gives us a reminder that they all are in school, unlike the Anime which continues without showing the school ever again after the first 5 episodes. They never wear their school uniforms again, until a new character shows up or something. In the future also I wanna involve some chapters like this to make it a bit lively.
