Date: 1st May, Saturday

Tenma's POV

"Raimon Jr High really isn't giving Manmouzaka a chance. They have scored 2 goals already. Will Mannouzaka be able to turn the game around?" The commenter announced before Mannouzaka's kick off.

The moment the whistle blew #11 passed the ball over to #10 as they finally cracked. #10 released their avatar and took away everyone's attention towards himself. Everyone froze in their place, shocked to see what they were seeing.

#10 spoke as he shot the ball towards the goal using his HS, Magician's Box. "I'll show why you should fear us,SEEDs."

No one was able to react to the ball going towards the goal except me, Shuu and Kariya.  I tried to shoot it back but it broke off and went on. Then Shuu tried to stop it but he couldn't either. Finally Kariya used his HT, Hunter's Net to stop the shot.

"What?!" #10 exclaimed as his HS was stopped. Not to mention mortified after saying that line. Since me and Shuu were strong enough to lower the amount of the power absorbed in the ball so Kariya was able to stop it.

After being gaining his senses back Shindou called out to the team to move forward using HT God's Baton. Kariya passed the ball over to Hamano who passed it Shindou who passed it over to Kurama. When the defenders went over to Kurama, Tsurugi got  a chance to sneak past them to an open spot. Shindou showed Kurama a path to pass to Tsurugi.

After Tsurugi got the ball he used his HS Death Drop to shoot his chance. This time the goalkeeper reacted fast and released his avatar to stop the shoot. As well as again, everyone froze in shock to see another avatar appear. After blocking the shot #1 passed the ball over to #5 who was getting approached by Shindou. Unlucky for Shindou they used another on of their dirty plays and shot the ball to his face.

The referee didn't see it since one of the opponents blocked his vision. And again they all started to mark all of us one bye one. They were planning on injuring us. As #11 got the ball he called out to #10 to move up. As he moved up #11 passed the ball over to #10, as he released his avatar and got ready with his HS, Magician's Box again. This time the defenders were able to react on time and use all of their HTs to defend the goal. As it reached over to Sangoku-senpai the ball had lost all it's power and was able to be stopped.

What a twisted turn of events. This really blew Mannouzaka cause they never thought that an avatar shot be stopped by regular HT. As we moved on with the game without breaking a sweat, we ended the first half with a score of 2-0 with us in the lead.

Although we just finished the first half, almost all the players were tired from the rough plays they did.

"Here you go Tenma" Aoi said as she threw a water bottle at me. I thanked her after catching it. When I was drinking some water I saw Shuu and suddenly remember something.

I walked over and crouched down and whispered in his ear. "Hey, I got question"

"Yeah?" Shuu replied a bit out of breathe. He chugged down some water as I asked.

"Aren't you on fifth sector's side?"

With the realization kicking in, Shuu spit his water out in surprise. Guess he didn't realize after thinking he gained his freedom to play soccer. After coughing a couple of time he looked at me as he was gonna cry. I let him let out a short cry on my shoulder. He hugged me for a moment to shed some tears. When I saw everyone was staring I just blurted out " He said he was really hurt in his ankle"

We both separated from each other and just sat next to each other while looking calm. Aoi walked over to see Shuu's 'injury'. Since he never got tackled down and avoided approaching the opponents he wasn't actually injured.

Aoi just stated that she doesn't notice any thing irregular so Shuu was fine to play in the second half.

In the second half I was changed to midfielder.  'Thank god' I thought as I jogged over to my position. After stretching my body a bit, someone tapped on my shoulder and I saw Shindou. He spoke with me for a minute.

"I need you to keep #10 busy while I mark #11. Kurama and Hamano will help Tsurugi get the ball so he can shoot using his avatar."He explained.

"I like the plan but how about you use God's Baton to guide them a bit. Shuu can  cover for #11." I replied to his plan which was gonna work but if #11 starts talking to Shindou then it's game over for the both of us.

Shindou seem to be suspicious of my plan for a bit but responded back.

"Yeah that sounds a bit better.Not bad Tenma" he praised me.

"I'm counting on you and Shuu" he said to let Shuu hear as well. Shuu looked over looking a bit baffled to why we called his name. I gave him a hand signal showing we were gonna cover #11 and #10. He nodded along while giving a thumbs up.

As Shindou planned we were able to score another goal with help of Tsurugi. Mannouzaka had a hard time tried to follow along their plans since me and Shuu were marking their most important players.

"Why is it always the two of you? For having two different goals you two sure seem to get along well." #10 spoke beside me while I was marking him.

"I'm just trying to play soccer that's all I'm doing" I replied.

"Even though you stepped on me and Isozaki's foot in the first half." He responded furiously.

"That was me giving you guys a warning." I replied.

"What warning? For interrupting your chance to play soccer freely?" He asked annoyed.

"Not really just don't want anyone digging this from my past" I replied calmly.

"You sure keep a lot of secrets for some guy who's really friendly with others. Or wait never mind these guys aren't your friends"  He responded.

"Anyways you guys don't seem satisfied and won't be off the hook unless you at least score 2 goals." I said since i saw that we lost the ball to the other team.

"This was gonna be the other way around actually with us in the lead and not you." He replied back.

"Well if you wanna score your chance is approaching" I said as I saw the opponents pushing us back. As they started moving up Isozaki got free and moved up to the goal or should i say Shuu might have just let him go. #10 got free from me and moved up as well but was stopped by Kariya. So #10 just released hi avatar to get past and get everyone's attention. The defenders moved to stop him from shooting or getting the ball. Unfortunately #11 saw this and just did a back pass to #9. Since we noticed too late they managed to score a goal with a HS.

After a few minutes the final whistle blew and the game was over. Even though they managed to score a goal in, we were still in the lead so we won the match with 3-1. I had expected them to be more brutal but i guess this is fine for now.

After the game everyone hit the showers before heading back to the bus. While everyone was still showering i finished quickly and went somewhere else. I found them after turning a corner not too far from the lockers.

"Hello, Tenma" Kuroki Zenzou greeted me. Kuroki was a loyal dog of Fifth Sector. He was here to take Shuu away cause he failed to help Fifth Sector keep Raimon in their place.

"Its been a while. But for now what are you going to do with Shuu?" I asked since that was my original goal. To stop them from taking away Shuu. Shuu was next to him looking a bit sad.

"The plan was for Raimon to lose so how did this turn out like this, Shuu?" Kuroki asked Shuu disappointingly.

"I didn't want Endou Mamoru to suspect that I'm a SEED and not let me be played on the team" Shuu replied

"Yeah i don't think he will care though Shuu" I answered

"What so you mean?" Shuu asked.

"The man believes soccer is everything and even if you were a SEED he'd still let you keep playing so that you will realize that you can have your freedom to play soccer with you on his side" I answered back.

"well if that is your plan at least try to stop Raimon from playing in the matches" Kuroki said

"How would he do that?" I asked him curiously.

"We have a plan actually" Kuroki replied with a smirk. Me and Shuu just stared at each other in confusion. Before anyone could catch us talking to Kuroki we both left the area and headed back to the bus.
