Recap:
Lilac POV
"Hey, and don't you know? All is fair in love and war, ...Lousy Li."
I tilted my head trying to calculate what he said. I feel like I might have said that before, sometime. But the thing that confused me more was, only one person called me 'Lousy Li'. My eyes widened and I gasped loudly.
"Is that really you?" I said brushing a strand of hair behind my ear that had fallen on my face.
"Petty Pete?!" I called out with pleasant surprise.
He had folded his hands and was leaning on a nearby tree.
He rolled his eyes but smiled, anyway.

Lilac POV

My eyebrows were raised so high that there were practically now off my face.
I just couldn't believe it.
No way.
Then I did what any normal person would do in my situation:
I ran over to Pete and hugged him tightly. He returned the gesture.

"I missed you, Pete"

He smiled and said, "Me too."

When I and Peter were little, we both lived in a tiny village in the Enchanted Forest. He was always the popular and friendly kid,  when I was just the shy and dorky girl. He hated books, and I loved them (I often tried to make him read one, but that never worked). He would always be the top of the class, and me... Let's just say not so much. In my defense, I would rather just read about non-magic worlds, than remember who had fought in the fairy war II.

Despite our differences, we were the best of friends. We always hung out together and played the silliest of games. And of course, we had nicknames for each other: I called him 'Petty Pete' and he called me 'Lousy Li' (Hey don't judge! We made those when we were probably seven!).

I stopped hugging him and took a step back. I looked at him and saw how much he had changed. His hair that had always been dark brown, now was a much lighter shade; probably because of him being in the sun I much. He had grown taller, obviously. He was now just about three inches taller than me.
Although I had never told him, his eyes were always the prettiest green, and they sparkled like jewels. They still were the same, with that same old mischievous glint in them.

"Like what you see, Li?" Peter said with a smirk.

"You wish," I replied.

He just rolled his eyes, "What are you really doing here anyway?"

"I could ask you the same question, you know."

"Maybe. But I asked first."

"You are never gonna change, you know." Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. I played with my necklace that hung around my neck. I couldn't just tell him the real reason I came. So I guess I will stick to my (lame) story, "I told you why already."

"You couldn't come up with something better, really?" Peter said folding his hands, and I copied his actions.

"I guess not, " I reply sarcastically.

"Fine, but I still don't believe it. You should take some 'how to lie' sessions from me, Li. You need them desperately." He put his arm over my shoulder, and we started walking into the forest.

'He really is never going to change, is he?' I say to myself.

"Thanks for the offer but no, thanks, " Just as he was opening his mouth to speak (probably make a not-so-witty comeback) but I interrupted him. How could I forget?
"Wait, wait wait! The thing I wanna know is...Where's Tink?!"

"Like what you see?"
Don't you guys just looooove cliffhangers? *smirks very evilly*
My lips are sealed, I am not revealing anything about the story. You just have to wait for the next chapter...
Guys pls pls pls pls comment and tell me what you feel about this story and all. I am very happy to get 30 readers but I really want to get their opinions too. Tell me if there are any mistakes, or if you want to recommend me to add something.
I hope you guys like this story so far. Trust me, there are many, MANY more twists and turns in this story. Just you wait, my precious readers. Also, the editor offer is still available if anyone wants to be one for this story.
