Kingpin Part 1

Rain, where others would hate it I don't. Even if it has gotten colder the rain doesn't bother me. Mainly thanks to my suit having insolation in it to keep me warm. What I love about the rain is the smell, it's something I always loved growing up. Other reasons I love the rain too are more tactic based reasons. Rain can hide footsteps if it's coming down hard enough and for me it can be used to create an atmosphere of intimidation. I asked Peter if he could make a small modification to my suit involving the lenses in my mask. If he could make them glow a light hue of white. I wanted this so in the dark all thugs will focus on when I interrogate them is my pure white lenses hiding my true eyes as they bore into them and thankfully he was able to do it pretty easily. The light doesn't even mess with my sight.

Speaking of Peter, he was able to make some gadgets for me as well with the modification to my suit. He made sure to make only small items that wouldn't weigh me down. One of which included a couple trackers that he made. The same ones based off his first design I wanted to use on chameleon during his time playing me. Still pissed off about that. Peter was able to put them into a belt that is around my waist hidden by my suit. Still getting used to the feel of them. Still happy he's doing well especially after what Kraven did to him. Only came out with a concussion and a cracked rib surprisingly.

Though you're probably wondering why I'm sitting in the rain to begin with. I'm following up on the lead the detective gave me to start hunting down Chameleon. It's time the fight was brought to him instead of waiting for him to enact one of his plans again which could lead to innocents dying this time. I know he's planning something and he sees me as a threat to those plans which is why he sent Kraven after me. Time to show him why he's right.

"Any signs yet?". Holding up a finger to my ear I answered. Yes, I now have an earpiece. Also made by peter. At this point he's going to turn into my man in the chair which I refuse to let happen. I work better alone but I will work with others when I need to. Plus I don't need his ego to inflate hearing all this.

"Nothing yet detective. You're sure he'll be here?", I said, still watching over an empty parking lot. Been watching it for over an hour now.

"I'm positive mate". Soon two cars pulled up from opposite entrances with one being a service Van. As both parked multiple men stepped out of the van while the other only one. That one being who I came for, James Dirk. Well Known Arms Dealer in Hell's Kitchen. Which leads into another possible problem but we'll deal with that when or if he shows up.

Jumping through the air I stuck to a wall closer to the meeting. High enough I pressed my back against the wall reaching into my utility belt under my suit grabbing two tracers. Throwing both of them one landed on the van Dirk showed up in while the other landed on what is presumably the buyers. We may be after Kingpin but I'm not going to let another criminal who came to buy firearms get away.

"J.A.C.K, get ready to keep track of these cars and send their current locations to the detective. We'll chase the target while the detective can take care of the buyer with the police. Maybe they'll lead them to a stash of guns"

"will do Sir"

Watching over the deal with my full attention my target was talking to the client. Reaching into my belt I grabbed two tracers. Time to see how my throwing arm is. Pressing my legs up a bit more behind me I got ready to jump to a wall opposite of me. A long distance but an easy one when you have super strength. Pushing off my wall I soared over the deal cloaking myself to make myself harder to see as I threw both trackers one hitting James's car and the other the buyers. Landing on the other wall I looked back at the deal to see no one the wiser at what I did.

Watching the deal continue James opened up the back of his car to show two weapons crates. Reaching to the side he grabbed a crowbar before popping one of the crates open. Stepping to the side the buyers took a look at a few firearms. From my view it looked like a couple of colt 1911s and police issued Glock models. So they're looking at small arms it seems. Expected more but I can't tell if they belong to a gang or mob family. Another case for another time. At least the detective can get started on it.

The deal didn't last any longer. The buyers handed over a duffel bag while others grabbed the crates from the trunk. Seems they're taking them all. Hopefully the detective will be able to stop them from killing anyone. Can't focus on the small fish right now, need to go after the bigger one.

Soon they were all packed up heading out. Letting them pack up I got myself ready for a run. Sure it has a tracker but at least I'll get my steps in. He also may take some stops leading to key locations to the kingpins operation. Just need to solidify who I think this kingpin is. Need to hear it from James's mouth directly.

Following the car and losing it at times but thanks to J.A.C.K. was able to find it again he finally made his final stop for the night. Pulling into a private parking garage attached to it was a set of apartments. J.A.C.K. was able to look into what apartment was his which was a penthouse on the top floor. Whoever said crime doesn't pay wasn't entirely true. Before climbing the building I made one quick look around to make sure he didn't show up again. Really don't need to get it with him again.

Taking some steps back I jumped toward his building sticking to the side. Climbing up J.A.C.K. told me when I got to his floor. Perks of living so high is no one has to fear someone sneaking in through their window. So if you have the power of sticking to walls you can easily slip through an unlocked one. Stepping into his apartment one could tell he was one of those lieutenants who spent money on his place. There were modern art pieces in parts of his apartment. Some of it looked ugly enough I wanted to smash it. Honestly I'd prefer to burn this whole place down. It's all got blood money written all over it.

He should be coming in soon. Walking to his front door I stood next to it with my arms crossed waiting for him to enter. Hearing the sound of a key unlocking the door let me know he was here. Time to get this interrogation a go. Pressing a small button underneath my mask switched on the glowing feature of my lenses. Walking through his front door I slammed the door shut grabbing him by the throat as he turned around. Slamming him down on the ground the wind was knocked out of him. Getting on top of him I kept my hand on his throat while His hand was in my other.

"Now that I've got your attention. There's an answer I need to a single question. If you don't give me the answer I want I'll show you pain. I know pain and sometimes I share it. With someone like you. Who is kingpin?", I said before breaking one of his fingers. He yelled in pain but it didn't make me flinch. It's scary how normal it's become seeing someone in pain by my hands. Not feeling any regret.

"Fu...AHHHH!!". Like that he had another finger broken. Don't know why but I'm starting to develop a habit of interrogating people this way, it works. Letting go of his hand I punched him in the face.

"Answer the question or it won't just be fingers"

"He'll kill me"

"What makes you think I won't", I said bluffing. But he didn't know that. Raising my hand I brought it down on his knee breaking it earning another yell of pain. Grabbing his jaw I forced him to look into my eyes. "Name, now!"

"Fisk! His name is Wilson Fisk!", he yelled in pain. Great, I'm right. This is going to be troublesome. Suddenly I felt something wrap around my arms making me look down to see a wire attached to a red tube?

"Fuck", I said out loud before I was pulled away. Landing on my back I groaned in pain before looking up at the man who pulled me.

"I told you what would happen next time I saw you in hell's kitchen"

Great, the one guy I hoped that wouldn't show up just did. Time to explain how I know the devil of hell's kitchen. During my early days of my vigilante career I got around New York looking for heads to bust in. One of those areas being hell's kitchen. One night went out to here deciding to try a different are to find some thugs to fight. Ended up doing so and gained the attention of the infamous devil of hell's kitchen. Our meeting didn't go well as it ended in a fist a cuffs match. Thinking about it reminds me of the bruises left behind after. Gave me a warning after that if he ever saw me here again he'd bring me into the police.

"You think that would keep me away? doesn't matter. I know we have our differences but this is important"

"Tell that to the police", he said glaring at me. Well looks like we're having a round two because I'm not dealing with this bullshit. Never played well with others

Flipping up I drop kicked him in his chest making him stumble back. Stumbling back made him loose his grip on his Billy club loosening the wire. Quickly untangling myself he was quick to recover from my attack. He came at me with a flying knee that I side stepped making it miss. He was quick to spin around with a roundhouse kick i blocked using both my arms before countering with a side kick.

He caught my side kick wrapping one of his arms around my leg. Jumping up I twisted my body hitting him across the jaw with another kick. This sent him down to all fours holding his jaw. landing on my back I pushed myself up landing back on my feet. Seeing him still recovering I walked up grabbing him before throwing him across the room into a wall. Landing on all fours again I ran at him aiming a kick to his stomach. Instead my foot landed in the wall since he quickly pushed himself up dodging my kick.

trying to pull my foot back out of the wall he capitalized on my vulnerable position. He got a clean hit into my side making me hunch over slightly gritting my teeth in pain. He followed up with another punch aimed for my head but thankfully I was able to block it but it left me open to a knee to my chest. Hurt like hell but thankfully helped me with getting my foot out of the wall.

With my foot free I was now able to move freely. Sending a couple of punches at he was able to block each of them. On my last punch he grabbed my arm twisting it behind my back. Feeling the pain of my arm being twisted I sent an elbow that landed making him let go. Following up with back kick into his chest sent him into a roll. Using his momentum he was back onto his feet taking a knee before standing back up. Turning around I shook my arm he had in a lock still feeling some pain from it.

"Ok dare dick, I came here to find information on Kingpin. I got what I came for and usually I don't turn away form a fight. But this one is wasting my time hunting down Kingpin"

"Your after kingpin?"

"yeah, so?"

"Truce?", he asked. Dropping my guard slightly I looked at him confused before putting it together. That's why he's here to begin with. He knew about James and came to talk to him like I did.

"Truce". Both of us calmed down before we both fell down exhausted. Sitting against the wall we both were catching our breaths.

"You got better", he commented. His comment earned a laugh out of me.

"Your still a dick"
