"Great, guess I wasn't the only one to be pulled here", I said walking into the street and pulling my hood down. Once I was in a brighter area I saw the spider ma...woman's eyes go wide.

"Jack!". How does she know my name? Standing up straight she pulled her hood back and took her mask off to show someone I did not expect to see.

"It's me, Gwen!"

"Oh god the last person I would want to see during all of this no matter what universe they come from". Letting out an annoyed grunt I pulled up my hood beginning to walk down the road. My anger now changed to annoyed. So I guess I did get my anger out in some way.

"wait, don't you recognize me?", Gwen said, chasing me. She was now walking next to me.

"Oh trust me I'm very aware of who you are. Which in my universe is a colossal pain in my ass which I'm sure you are in yours"

"Wait, other universe? Is that why everything looks different here?"

"Yep, welcome to the club. Now go solve it your own way, I already have my own", I said, speeding up my pace.

"Why are you so distant and rude? aren't we friends in your universe?"

"*gags* Please don't say that. I actually almost threw up in my mouth. The thought of me and you being "friends" is sickening. Now if you'll excuse me I need to brood about the fact you're here", I said trying to walk away from her but she stood in front of me stopping me. My lord she is starting to already act like my Gwen, pissing me off.

"Move or I'll do it for you"

"I just need a moment to ask you what's going on", she pleaded. I walked up to her staring down at her.

"Not my problem", I said before walking past her. I also made sure to shove into her shoulder. Hopefully she gets the message.

"There's no way you could be Jack. He's a kind and caring guy nothing like you", She said, getting angry at me. Seems she's getting one message.

"Sorry to disappoint sweet heart. I'm not your Jack so scram", I said while flipping her off without looking. Thankfully she stopped following me.

Need to head back to May's. Hopefully Peter found some way to send me home and for other universe Gwen. Guess she'll have to find her own way back. Shame, maybe if she showed up when I showed up she could have ran into Peter. Oh how very unlucky of her. Thankfully I'm good at retracing my steps so getting back didn't take too long. Walking in I found Aunt May talking to Peter, breaking up their conversation.

"Your back, are you doing ok?", Peter asked. I thought about telling him about Gwen but then quickly changed my mind. All that matters is I get back. She'll be fine.

"So you have a way to get me home yet?", I asked not expecting him to have a way. Then again today has been full of surprises.

"I actually do. I just needed to finish downloading a software that'll shut down the collider using this Goober", he said holding up a flash drive. Did he just call that thing a goober?

"I modified the program so it'll leave the portal open long enough to get you home. After I plug it in it'll do a search of the multiverse energy that brought you here and use it to open a portal back to your universe then shut it down". Not going to lie, I was getting excited to be able to head home. Just hope aunt may doesn't get too mad when I get back.

"So, ready to head out? I found out where the collider was, which was the last thing I needed. So, ready to head home?", he said, putting his mask on.

"yep"

Time skip sewers

*Blech!!*

"Why do I keep allowing you to do this to me? and why aren't you throwing up...*Blech*"

"Kid, you should really see a doctor about that"

'Fu..let's just keep moving on", I said, trying not to throw up again.

We continued through the sewers with Peter leading the way. Soon we ended up in what seemed to be an abandoned train depot. Something didn't feel right though and Peter felt it too. Both of us were on edge watching our surroundings. Suddenly something big landed behind us. We both slowly turned around to see one of the biggest guys I've ever seen. If you could call him a guy.

"Holy...shit"

"Hey Norman, have you been juicing again?"

With a roar that made my ears ring he came flying at us. He can actually fly! Thinking fast I jumped to the side sticking to the side of a shipping container. Why is everything so complicated with this lately? Pushing off the container I came flying at the dragon performing a drop kick on his face. I landed on my hands before pushing up, coming back and doing the same move but now uppercutting him with a kick. Peter followed up knocking him in the back of the head while I stuck to the ceiling above him.

Seems this guy looks stronger because none of that seemed to phase him. Reaching to his side he grabbed a giant pumpkin before throwing it at me? Before it hit me I felt Peter tackle me. Wait a second, why didn't my spider sense warn me? doesn't matter because now I found out what those pumpkins are, bombs. Looking at Peter I gave him a nod of thanks before we both jumped at the dragon man but were both hit by his tail launching us into a shipping container.

"Jumping at him wasn't a good idea", Peter commented, groaning in pain.

"no shit", I said quickly, standing up and running at dragon man. He tried to hit me with his tail but I slid underneath and as it passed over me I kicked off him launching toward his head. Before I could land a punch he grabbed me with his fist before roaring in my face. Oh my god what does this guy eat?

"Breath mint", I said, trying to struggle out of his grip. Thankfully Peter came flying in punching him across the face letting me go. Once I hit the ground I came running at him jumping onto his back which was a massive mistake.

He started flying around the depot with me on his back. Why did I think this was a good idea? He tried to slam his back onto a wall but I quickly flipped over him ending on his chest. Looking at me he roared again but I just punched him across the face before following up a few more. As soon as he tried to hit him I kicked his face then pushed off it like a spring board. I could fill his hand scathing my back as I landed on the ground. Damn it, I better not run into a guy like this in my universe.

Getting back into my stance he stood over me before Peter came flying in knocking him away. I chased after them while Peter swung into him knocking him through a high security door? hold on. Walking through the door my eyes went wide to see what seemed like some giant machine. Guess this must be the collider. Looking up I saw Peter and the dragon continuing to fight. Pushing off where I was standing I began to climb the debris that fell after Peter slammed him into one of the walls.

May not have web slingers but I make due. Pushing off one of the debris I nailed the dragon in the back as Peter hit him in the face with a left hook. As I fell back I grabbed his tail and using gravity I spun around throwing him against a wall. Sadly this left me falling but thankfully Peter had my back because he shot a web on my back pulling me up. Have to say we're working together pretty well. Suddenly I felt my spider-sense go off and it seems Peter's did too. Looking to where my spider sense was being set off I saw a kid about my age hanging on a ledge trying not to fall off.

Looking at Peter I saw what he was thinking. Don't you do it! sure enough he hit the dragon away before going off the kid. Shit! He's not the priority! The dragon roared ready to go after him but I came from above and as I passed him I grabbed his hat pulling him with me. While we fell I made sure he was under me while I threw punch after punch into his face. Just before we landed I backflipped off his body letting him take the fall. Thankfully it seemed he may be down for the count for a while. Now to see where Peter went.

Looking around I saw Peter crawling above me before opening a panel. Yes! once he puts it in I'll be able to head home! Before I could celebrate my spider sense went off before a man in all purple tackled Peter. NO! I can't let them stop him! Before I could go to help Dragon man got back up hitting me with his tail. Hitting me made me knock into a pile of metal pipes which landed on top of me. Pushing them off me I saw that Peter was pinned down by the Dragon man and purple guy who were all looking at something in the middle of the collider.

Following their gaze I saw something being lowered down. Once it was lowered the collider turned on causing a stream of energy from both ends to meet in the middle. I have to free peter! oh wait, seems he freed himself. Peter was able to break out of the dragon's hold so I ran up the side to help him but dragon guy came flying in, grabbing him by his head and pushing it into the energy stream. Soon alarms began to go off with a voice warning of an overload.

"NO! shut it off you idiots!!!", I begged running toward Peter to help. I can't have them destroy my way home! Just as I jumped toward Peter an explosion went off and everything went dark.

"ugh, my head feels like I'm having a hangover". Opening my eyes I saw I was buried under rubble. Pushing up I was able to get it off me but my body was sore. I'm going to be in a lot of pain for a while. Looking around there was dust kicked up from the explosion with rubble scattered about making it hard to see. Moving through it I tried to find Peter or anyone for that matter. Coming to an opening I saw Peter next to the kid he saved and he didn't look good. Running over I slid to his side. He just gave a weak cough.

"sorry I couldn't...get you home. Like planed"

"You can and you will! you hear me! you can't die here because if you do I won't go home!", I said, shaking him. He looked toward the other kid before speaking.

"Go, we'll handle this and meet up with you. GO!", he told him, making him run off. His attention soon went back to me as he put his hand gently onto one holding his suit.

"Listen, I might not make it. So I want you to get out of here and help the kid. He's going to need it and one other thing. Don't hate the world"

"Wha.."

"I see it in your eyes kid. I've noticed it since you got here but I didn't say anything. The reason I know is because I was in the same place once and I know what it does to you. I know you hate the world now but you'll get through it because I also see the strength you have. You can be better Jack! I'm sure you've pushed people away and fear the world will take more from you but do me a favor. Try to do good for the world even if it hasn't for you. You may not see it but you can still do good, your not a bad person Jack.  The world isn't your enemy, you'll see eventually. Be the best hero you can be Jack. Now go!"

All I could do was stare at him. What does he know!? He says he understands me!? He doesn't know what I lost! who I lost! How dare he! how dare..suddenly he put a comforting hand on my shoulder knocking me out of my thoughts. My eyes went wide as I looked at him.

"Don't let your anger blind you to the good things Jack, the world isn't as dark as it seems. You're meant for great things and you may not see that now but you will soon. Now go before they come", Peter said. I stood up looking at him as I slowly walked backwards, his words going through my head. Then I turned around running away but as I did I felt..guilt. Then suddenly a voice spoke in my head.

All things happen for a reason, Jack Parker. All things have a purpose no matter what universe they come from even though they may seem like a mistake. And your purpose is about to be shown. If you embrace it will be up to you.
