*~*The Next Day*~*

*~*Ireland's POV*~*

"Get up, Ireland! It's time to go on that patrol you said we were going on!" An excited Lavender exclaimed, waking me up.

"Fine fine. Just let me get my sword..." I said, rubbing my eyes, and walking over to it. I picked it up, putting it in my holster. I also grabbed my bow and quarl full of arrows.

Lavender could be so annoying, but whether she was or wasn't, you just wanted to go with it. We walked out the door, and exited the city.

*~* A few minutes later*~*

"Hey! GET BACK HERE!" I yelled, at the running boy, sword in my hand. Suddenly he disappeared.

"What the..." I started, slowing down to a stop, when I heard the sound of running footsteps behind me. It wasn't Lavender so I turned around.

It was the boy running at me, with Lavender on his heels. He looked a lot more grown up than yesterday. His country must have had a population boom, while he was gone. He seemed to have a sword in his hand too, one that I had never seen before. It was curved, and had an unusual handle on it.

He swung it, and I deflected it. I saw Lavender slowly creeping up behind him, and I turned my attention back to my attacker, so he wouldn't look back at her.

After a few minutes of fighting, I finally was able to knock the sword out of my attacker's hand, and pin him to the ground with it. My sword pointed at his throat as I felt the wind pick up, causing my clover green cloak to start flapping.

"Why are you here? Please, we didn't want to do this, but you left us with no other option." Lavender said, standing beside me. All the boy did was laugh.

Lavender and I looked at each other concerned. 'Did we break him?' I thought, and looked back down at him when he started talking again.

"You idiots, I know exactly who you are, and frankly, we've got plans for this nation." He said, in a weird accent I had never heard before, but still sounded familiar for some odd reason.

"What do you mean by that?!" I yelled, and I felt Lavender tap on my shoulder. I looked over at her, "What?"

"Saoirse... We have bigger problems to deal with right now...," She said, looking panicked, and I looked around shocked. We had been surrounded in a matter of seconds.

I looked down where the attacker was, and saw he was gone. I spotted him standing in front of the soldiers that surrounded us.

"Surrender or we'll have to take this land by force. Choose wisely," He said.

"Who do you think you are, attacking my home!?" I yelled, and he just laughed again, and I was taken aback.

"What a silly question. I'm Arthur Kirkland, also known as England, and, this land will be part of the United Kingdom, no matter what you think you can do about it," He said in a harsh tone of voice, and I knew instantly I had slowly dug myself into a hole I couldn't get out of without harming Lavender.

"If you let Lavender through, WITHOUT getting harmed, I'll surrender without a fuss or fight," I said, and Lavender looked at me, shocked and surprised.

"Fine. Let the human girl through," He said, However Lavender seemed to want to stay put. I pushed her towards the opening that the soldiers had made, and that made her walk through. She stopped halfway through and looked at me, before I motioned her to get moving, which she did. I made no move to escape what was happening, which made England look confused.

"You aren't going to make a move to go with her?" He asked, and I looked at him coldly.

"I'm a nation of my word, unless you want me to, I can, but otherwise I won't. There is a small chance that, later on, I WILL pick a fight," I said, and he looked intrigued.

"Hmm... You're not like the other three, that's for sure," He said, and I mentally panicked.

"THERE'S OTHERS!?" I yelled surprised, and he just calmly nodded.

"Great... just great...," I muttered, and we started walking in the direction they were taking me in.

Author's note: I'm almost done with fixing the story! I have one more chapter to fix and than I think finish! I may pick this story up again, but I'm not so sure... we'll see. Maybe I could give this story it's own scheduled time to be updated. I'll probably do that with the Fifty states story as well, so keep up to date on my conversations tab if you're interested in that story.

To be honest I didn't realize how deep people could get into my stories before I was finishing up and editing a chapter in my Hetalia fanfic about Brexit or about the 50 states. I can see why people may want updates on my stories now...
