No one's POV

We see Y/n in his throne room, testing out the powers that he has at his disposal, as well as testing an item that one of the other members used when they were online.

Y/n: *sigh* Let's hope I get this working soon...

Y/n: If I can this projector to work, I should be able to get a better view of the surroundings.

After a few more minutes of trying, Y/n finally gets it to work, as he sees an area that surrounds the current location of the Guild.

Y/n: Yes! I did it!!

As Y/n does a little celebratory dance, a knock is heard at the door, which makes him stop, and clear his throat.

Y/n: Enter.

The doors then open, as Kaho comes in with a cup of tea.

Kaho: How are you doing today, Lord Avos?

Y/n: Good. I was able to get the device that Ax3l used working!

Kaho: *clapping* Amazing! Have you found anything out in this world, yet?

Y/n: Not yet. I just finished-

Y/n turns to look at the projection, and notices a town being attacked by knights.

Y/n: Knights... Why would they attack a village?

As Y/n watches this, he notices something.

Y/n: What's going on with me?! Why don't I feel scarred like I normally would? But still... a part of me is telling me to save them... Why...?

Kaho: That doesn't look good, Lord Avos. What shall we do?

Y/n: Leave-

Y/n doesn't even finish his sentence, as he notices a man being kicked to the ground, trying to run away, but the knights pin down his legs. Tears start to flow freely, and Y/n looks in shock.

Y/n: I remember now... After all... That man was the reason why I decided to make this place...

*Flashback*

We see a past version of Y/n running away from something, when suddenly, he trips on a branch, having him fall down, allowing what was chasing him to get closer.

Y/n: *sniffles* Please... Let me go...!

The footsteps get closer, and it's revealed to be three other players, who are well known in Infernal Rising for killing low level players.

PKer 1: Maybe we would've let you go... If you didn't try running away!

Y/n: *sniffles*

PKer 2: Look at that! The spirit brat's crying!

PKer 3: I'll take this one! After all, I just need one to two more EXP points, and I get not only a level up, but a rank up in swordplay!

PKer 1: Then stop blabbering and take this fool-

Before PKer 1 can even finish his sentence, a powerful blast of wind flies through the area. In less than two seconds, the three PKers are killed, as a man walks up to Y/n.

???: You alright, kid?

Y/n: Yeah.. I'm fine...

???: That's good.

Y/n: I don't get it...

???: Hm?

Y/n: Why save me? I mean, I don't have anything you would fin useful... And if what they said is true... I picked the weakest race... SO WHY?! WHY DID YOU HELP SOMEONE AS USELESS AS ME!!!

Y/n: If is wasn't for that man's words... I would've never found out the true power that the spirits have... Or even created this Guild... Now that I'm going into it... I should test the rest of my spirit powers.

Y/n: Koho.

Koho: Y-Yes?!

Y/n: I'm going to that village. Tell Miku to get in combat gear, and meet me there ASAP. Also, raise security levels of the Guild Hall to MAX Level.

Koho: Yes, Lord!

As Koho leaves, Y/n says one thing to himself.

Y/n: Let's do this. WARP!!!!

*Meanwhile...*

We see the village still being attack, but as this happens, a young village girl in her young teens is seen running through the forest, trying to avoid the knights, as she's muttering something to herself.

However, she arrives at a dead end, and three of the knights attacking the village walk up to her, with a lustful look in their eyes.

Knight 1: Pretty little thing, ain't she? Why don't we have some fun with her before we kill her?

The Guard then pins the woman down, and starts tearing off her clothes

Village: No... Please... SOMEONE SAVE ME!!!

Knight 2: To late! No one's coming to save you!

Right as the second knight is about to shove his "sword" into the girl, Knight three says something.

Knight 3: Um... Question. Can any of you two use magic?

Knight 2: Nope.

Knight 1: Same here. In fact, from what we know, this girl can only use simple spells, like fireballs.

Knight 3: Okay... New Question then.

Knight 1: *sigh* Make it quick, we don't have-

Knight 3: IF SHE CAN ONLY USE SIMPLE SPELLS, THEN WHO THE FUCK IS CREATING THAT!!!

The Two knights then look up and notice a portal, and the girl notices this as well.

Knight 1: You little bitch! You lied-

The Knight's head is quickly sliced off, causing the other two to stop and look at the portal in fear, while the village girl looks at it in shock.

Village: Did... Did I do that...?

As the three there look in shock, Y/n steps out of the portal, with a smug look on his face.

Y/n: SPIRITUAL GRASP.

Y/n lifts his hand, grabbing the person's soul, and tosses the man into a tree.

Y/n: Now... SOUL DESTRCUTON!!

Y/n then destroys the man's soul, making his body evaporate in mere seconds.

Y/n: That is a big relief! I didn't know if those ultimate spells would work on them, and I'd have to retreat. I want to keep the human form hidden for a little while longer.

Knight 2: M-Monster...!

Y/n: Odd... Despite me killing another human... I feel no sense of guilt, sadness, or sorrow. Basically, I felt nothing... I guess since I'm now a spirit, something that isn't human... I'm losing my human emotions...

The Knight tries to run away, but Y/n quickly stops time and grabs him.

Y/n: What's wrong? You have no problem hunting innocent people, yet when someone that can fight appears, you run in terror? You're not a knight, you're a coward. But if there anything you can be good at... it's being my test dummy. DRAGON LIGHTING!!!!

Y/n launches the spell, electrocuting the knight to death.

Y/n: That's disappointing. I was hoping you'd survive that low tier spell, but I guess we're all disappointed. However, we can try another spell. SHADOW CREATION.

A dark black shadow emerges from Y/n's own shadow, shocking the girl. It then notices the body, and starts to absorb it.

Y/n: Woah! So that's different from Infernal Rising!

As it finishes absorbing the body, it takes it's form.

Y/n: Now. Shadow. You're to kill anyone in the village that is wearing armor like this one. *points to Knight 1's corpse*

The shadow then nods it's head, and goes into the shadows, making it's way towards the village.

Y/n: Crap... I need to give them more details next time... I mean, I don't even know what type of weapons they have, and if they're dangerous to Spirits!

As this happens, Miku comes out of a portal of her own in her battle attire.

Miku: Sorry it took so long, my lord!

Y/n: No worries. You arrived right on time!

Miku: If you say so. But now... what shall we do with her?

Miku then points to the girl, and Y/n simply pulls out a potion.

Village Girl: *screams in fear*

Y/n: Here. Drink this.

Village Girl: WHAT IS THAT?! IS THAT VOMIT?!

Y/n: Okay, now that she's mentioning it, I do wonder why they make the potion green!!

Y/n: It's not vomit. It's a health potion. It should take care of that little bruise you have on your legs, and the wounds those knights gave you.

The girl then slowly takes it from Y/n, and drinks it, relieving the pain.

Village Girl: Woah... It worked!

Y/n: Now... I have a question for you. Have you ever heard, of magic, and if yes, are you familiar with magic?

Village Girl: Y-Yes I know of it, and I am familiar with it... I attend a nearby school that studies magic and it's properties, but there are some better ones that give experience in the actual field...

Y/n: I see. Well this makes things easier for me to explain. I myself am a wanderer who studies all types of magic. ABSORPTION SHIELD. ANTI-HUMAN BARRIER. WEAPON PROTECTION.

Y/n then casts the spell, and it surrounds the young girl.

Village Girl: A protection spell... Is it bold for me to assume I'll be fine as long as I stay in here?

Y/n: Yes you should. But just incase things go south, take this.

Y/n then hands the girl a box.

Y/n: Inside contains a powerful crystal. Use it only as a last defense if this doesn't work.

The girl then opens the box, and she is shocked by it.

Village Girl: Th-Thank! Please... tell me your name.

Y/n; My name...?

Y/n: For now... I'll use my character name. In fact, this world shall know this name and fear it, just like in Infernal Rising!

Y/n: Remember this name well child, for I shall only state it once... I am... *Image Below* Avos Dilhevia, The Spirit King!!!!

*Meanwhile...*

We now see the knights scared for their lives, as the shadow has begun it's attack.

Knight 4: Screw this! I don't get paid enough for this!

The knight tries to run away, but the shadow quickly kills it, leaving a gaping hole in the knight's chest.

Knight 5: Die, you monster!

The knight tries to attack the shadow, but the weapon fazes through the beast, shocking the knights. Another knight tries to run away, but the shadow quickly decapitates him, and devours his head.

Knight Leader: This monster... It's only killing our men... And we can't even hit it!

Knight 6: Oh dear god...

Knight 7: Were we doomed to fail from the get-go?

Knight 8: *panicking* Take that thing down! I'm a goddamn noble of the Empire! I can't let myself be killed in a crap-shoot place like this! Be my shield, so I can get out of here!

Knight Leader: Be a man, Lucius!

Lucius: Please... I'll pay you!! No, I'll get you anything, just let me-

The Shadow then grabs Lucius's heart, and breaks it instantly, killing him.

The knights then start to panic, as not only were they not prepared for this, they are scared of what this thing will do to them. However, right as the shadow goes to attack, Y/n's voice is heard.

Y/n: That is enough! Go back to your realm, I shall handle the rest of this.

Everyone then turns to see Y/n and Miku walking towards the area.

Y/n: Greetings, knights. I am Avos Dilhevia, the Spirit King. *GIF Below* It is a pleasure to meet all of you here today!

The knights are still scared, and as this happens, the shadow does go back into Y/n's own shadow.

Y/n: Don't worry yourselves. The shadow has returned to which it came, no more harm shall befall you and your men. However! You must tell your super- I mean owner this message, as well as the kindness I'm gracing you with. "Commit anymore atrocities here in this village, I shall have your heads!" Leave now, or I will handle you myself! Pick your poison.

The knights don't say anything, but they all run away in pure fear from what had just happened.

Y/n: Huh. Who knew being a villain was not only fun, but also tough!

Villager: Excuse me, Avos, you said your name was? Why did you come here?

Y/n: You reminded me of myself when I was young one. I wasn't going to stand by and watch innocent people be murdered when I had the power to stop them. However, there is somethings I would like from you in return.

*Time-skip*

After having some time, while also bringing back the girl Y/n saved, he learned some very valuable information. One, the money he used isn't worth anything, except for the gold. He also learned that he, along with the Spiritbreaker Guild was right outside of a country's borders known as the Zedal Empire. A rapidly expanding empire dead-set on conquest, while also exterminating the other races, which were demi-humans, demons, dwarves, and elves.

Y/n: So there's no spirits in this world... That might make things harder if they find me out.

Y/n: So... I noticed on my way here that there was a place with ruins like a kingdom. Why is that?

Village Chief: *sigh* It's because they see themselves as Superior. Mostly because the God they worship they believe is the one and only god, while all the others are fakes. They destroy cities, take innocent lives, and even rape the women, turning them into sex slaves.

Y/n: *visible anger* I see...

Village Chief: They were about to do the same thing to us, but you came in and saved us!

Y/n: Tell me... How long has this happened?

Village Chief: The Zedal Empire's conquest? As long as I've been born, which would be around 75 years now.

Y/n: Thank you. I shall take my leave. But before that, here.

Y/n then hands the village chief a whistle.

Y/n: Should those knights ever return, call me with this. I will bring them down if they try and defeat me again!

*Meanwhile...*

???: What?! You can't be serious?!

Knight Leader: I'm serious sir. This woman was able to kill off many of our men in one fell swoop?

???: Then I guess I have no choice. We're going back. As one the princes of this nation, I won't let one mere woman stop our goal! After all, I can just simply unleash my trump cards on that bitch. So move out now!

Knight Leader: As you wish... 

As the Knight says this, the voice comes out to show his face.

Knight Leader: Prince Kavi Zedal.
