Third p.o.v

After school while Betty and Veronica were trying out for cheerleading and Archie had his football tryouts Jayden was staying back to work on the Spider Trackers for when Peter and him run into the vulture bird again and any other villain that gets away from them. Jayden was sitting outside on a Bench Testing the Spider Trackers so they can work properly when he looks over to see a man by the edge of the fence with one of the football players almost the same age as Jayden, they were chatting about something but Jayden was for focused on the action between the two as by the look of the two it was a father and his son and for what Jayden saw they were showing their love for each other which brings a tear into Jaydens eyes as he remembers Uncle Ben and what had happened to him "how can I have been so stupid, I should have stopped him ben" Jayden says as his tears fall down his face. unknown to him someone was standing by and saw him cry that person was Veronica lodge she had just got her new uniform on, she had also managed to get Betty on the team as well as she was getting her uniform on and as she was walking out to she the football team practice, Veronica saw Jayden sitting on the bench crying about something so wanting to help in anyway she could she went up to him "hey are you ok?" Veronica asks as Jayden turns to see her there and wipes away the tears "y-yeah I'm fine" Jayden told her but she didn't believe him "yeah ok tell me what's wrong?" Veronica says in a stern voice as Jayden just sighs "ok fine, It's nothing its just I saw a father and his son and It just reminded me of my uncle" Jayden told her as Veronica looked a bit confused so Jayden explained "Ben Parker, My uncle was killed during the summer" Jayden told her as Veronica put her hand to her mouth In shock, Jayden saw this and looked down in shame and sadness Veronica pit he hand on his shoulder indicating to continue and with that Jayden took a deep breath and told the story about what happened to his uncle "Peter and I had always been living with our aunt and uncle for as long as we can remember" Jayden started "they were the closest thing Peter and I had to Parents since our real parents had left us with them when I was six and peter was five" Jayden brought up and that was true as Jaydens parents left Him and Peter with their aunt and uncle and had never came back leaving them to live their lives without their parents being there to watch them grow up "and as time went on Peter and I got interested in science and other things and for a while I felt like things were pretty good Peter and I even have a great relationship with our aunt and uncle especally Uncle ben" Jayden said as he thought back to the times with his uncle "Uncle Ben was like a father to me growning up and had even been there when times had gotten tough for me and Peter, I remember one day he told me something that I had never even forgotten to this day, I had gotten into a fight with flash tompson because he was picking on my brother, I ended up breaking flash's nose which one of the teachers saw and then sent me to the princapals office where he called my aunt and uncle and when they had picked peter and I up from school Ben was telling me off for punching him even though he understood why flash deserved it he had told us that even though he did deserved it, it dosen't mean that we should go down to his level" Jayden took a breath as he remembered the conversation that he had with his uncle before the summer vacation had started "he told me that even though i have a gift, I have power and he told me that with great power, comes great Responsibility, and at the time i didn't really cared about it, I was acting selfish and i didnt take it seriously at first and then the day my uncle died and it really hit me and peter hard the most out of the whole parker family as we were the last ones to see him before he had died" Veronica looked sad for jayden and by extention peter and his aunt as well "how did he die?" veronica asks wondering how his uncle was died, Jayden took a breath and began "he was murdered by a criminal in an alleyway in town, he was waiting for peter and i as we were at the library getting some books" Jayden said lying about being at the library with peter in reality they were at a wrestling match using their powers to get some money and become popular, and of course they didn't get the money they were promised as the owner being the jerk that he was gave them both $100 each instead of the $3000 the advetisement had promised them "and before we left uncle ben, peter and I had gotten into a fight and we had said some really hurtful things and in the end we never told uncle ben that we were sorry, we had never gotten too and now we might never will" Jayden said as tears had started to form in his eyes "I feel so selfish for saying stuff like that to him, I should't have said those things" He added as the tears start to role down his face, Veronica who had been sitting there listening the whole time started to feel bad for him for having to deal with the pain and loss of his uncle and she did understand him in a way. She then put a hand on his catching Jaydens attention as he looked down to see her hand on top of his, he then looked up to her see that she had a look of sympathy on her face "your not Selfish Jayden, your not the only one that's haunted by your past'' Veronica says which catches Jaydens attention and raises a question in his mind "what do you mean by that, Ronnie?" Jayden asked Veronica who was blushing at the nickname that Jayden had given her which she really liked "When my father got arrested...it was the worst thing that ever happened. all these trolls started to write horrible things about us, we'd get letters and e-mails saying that my dad was a thief...my mom was a clueless Socialite...and that i was this spoiled rich bitch, ice princess and what hurt the most about it was, those things the trolls were writing, were true" she tells Jayden as she starts to remember all of the mean and hurtful things the people said and called her and her family when her dad was arrested and taken away, she continued "I was like Cheryl...Worse than Cheryl. so when my mu said we were moving to riverdale...I made a pact with myself: to use this as an opportunity to become maybe, hopefully a better version of myself, so believe me when i say that you're not the only one who's tormented by their past and wants to change things for the better, your not alone Jayden, you and Peter are not alone" Veronica says to Jayden as he tears up a bit, moved by her words "your not an ice Princess, and you're Definitely not like Cheryl Blossom, you're a strong, beautiful, funny and intelligent girl who cares about others around her..." Jayden says to her "the fact that you despise what you did in the past only proves my point, so don't ever say that you're worse than 'CherylBombshell' which by the way Who calls themselves that?" Jayden asks jokenly earning a laugh from Veronica, he them did something surprising to even him, he cups Veronica's cheek and wipes a tear from her face with his thumb which made Veronica smile a little which made Jayden smile as well "you know, you can be very charming and sexy sometimes, more that usual I mean~" Veronica says catching Jayden off guard and blushing red on his cheeks this caused Veronica to laugh at Jaydens reaction "ok teasing you is my new favorite hobby now" She said to Jayden as he looked embaressed "It's not funny Ronnie" Jayden said to Veronica with a little bit of a nervous tone in his voice "yes it is" Veronica says back to him "No it isn't" Jayden says back to her again a bit more annoyed this time as she just chuckled at my reaction "you are so easy to tease" Veronica says as Jayden just sigh in defeat as a smile comes across his face "thanks for comforting me, I think i needed to talk to someone about what i was thinking" I tell her as she smile back to me "hey thank you for listening to me, I needed that as well" Veronica said thanking Jayden then pulled him into another hug and Jayden hugged her tighter and to his surprise Jayden Kissed her forehead. when they pulled apart they stared at eachother taking in eachothers apperance Jayden saw how beautiful Veronica looked and veronica saw how handsome Jayden then started to look at his lips and out of no where she lean in and brushed her lips briefly against his which shocked Jayden as he wasn't expecting it so it caught him off guard, as quick and as sweet as the kiss was veronica pulled back blushing bright red in the face as she saw the look of surprise on Jaydens face "sor-" Veronica almost apologiesed as she was quickly interupted by Jayden as he captured her lips in a liplock which surprised and shocked veronica but she soon melted into the kiss maybe they both needed it or maybe it was something more they didn't know it yet but at the moment it didn't matter as they just enjoyed the moment together. What was even more so was that it was his first kiss and he was understanding what Harry said when he first kissed Gwen saying that it felt like magic as Jayden felt like he was on cloud 9. but what neither of them had noticed was that someone was watching them from the side of the bleachers, that person was gwen stacy who had came to see Jayden to tell him about her love for peter and for any advice on what to do only to be surprised when she saw Jayden and veronica making out but happy for Jayden to have finally made a move on Veronica lodge and she was happy for him no the less, she knew she didn't want to bother their moment so she walked away hoping that she would talk to him another time.

Jayden's P.O.V

after what felt like a life time of kissing we broke the kiss and i couldn't help but smile afterwards as i had just had my first kiss and it was awesome "well you took your time, but this...this was worth waiting Every second~" Veronica said to me with a smile on her face as well "yeah it was" I told her as i nodded as well i then remembered what my Brother had told me and for some reason i decided to ask her "hey Ronnie, I want to ask you something" I said to Veronica as she smiled knowing what i was gonig to ask her "Yeees~" she says with a smile and i continued "you know there's the Back-to-school dance?" i ask her incase she had somehow not noticed about the school dance "Yes I'm vaguely aware of it" she tells me with the cute smirk on her face as i was feeling a bit nervous, I took a deep breath, looked at her and spoke "I was wondering if you would like to go to the dance with me" I asked her feeling a bit nervous but those feelings soon left me as i saw her smiling at me "Yes I would love to go with you~" Veronica said and my heart skipped a beat as i heard those word coming out of her mouth "really, I-I mean Great, Brillant" i said to her smiling "great" Veronica said to me then kissed me again for another time today we were both very happy with this they were truly happy, I just hope that my Parker luck wouldn't ruin it. after the beautiful moment, Veronica got up from the bleachers "well I have to go I need to find betty and help her ask Archie out, but I'll see you at the dance?" Veronica asks me as i smile as I picked up my stuff making sure to hide my spider trackers so she doesn't figure out my secret identity in my bag "Yeah" I ask her "sounds good Jaydey, I'll text you the time and place, see you there" Veronica says as she walks off leaving me smiling as i grabbed my bag and head back home.

on the way home my phone started to vibrate in my pocket, I got my phone out and saw that i got a text from my group chat with peter, harry and Gwen, I opened the group chat

Childhood Friends

Rich Boy: Hey Jayden I had heard from Gwen that you finally kiss Veronica, is that true?

Jaydey: yeah its true

Rich Boy: dude that's awesome I'm really happy for you

SmartParker: so how was it?

Jaydey: You guys remembered when harry told us that it felt like Magic when he and Gwen first kissed?

SmartParker: yeah

Rich Boy:yeah i remember, best moment of my life

Jaydey: well that is what it felt like when i kissed Veronica, like i was on cloud 9 and i didn't want to leave

Rich boy: wow it was that good

Jaydey: yeah it was

I smiled as i told them

Music4life: yeah i did see you and veronica making out on the bleachers but i didn't want to be rude and ruin your moment so i left

Jaydey: oh I didn't know you were there sorry

Music4Life: its ok i'm just glad you had you moment, though i have to ask did you at least talk to her and get to know her?

Jaydey: yeah i did in a way, and i felt like we connected in a way you know

SmartParker: what did you talk about

Jaydey: well i don't mean to open up old wounds but i told her about our uncle ben and what happened to him

SmartParker: oh...

Jaydey: yea, i was at the bleachers and saw a kid with his dad and it reminded me of our uncle and how much i missed him and she told me about her family and what happened to her and her mother after her father was arrested and in a way we were both haunted by our past in our own ways

SmartParker: yeah it does make sense since her father being arrested was all over the news and on social media but i never knew what Veronica and her mother was feeling when their father was arrested

Music4life: well i'm just happy that you finally asked her out Jayden

Rich boy: Yeah I had told you both you and peter that you guys have game with Girls.

Rich boy: now Jayden I need to be a man and give that Latina beauty an unforgettable evening

as I read through the last text that harry had sent I smile as this is what I was planning on doing on the night of the school dance

Jaydey: don't worry I will

Smart Parker: I'll make sure you does well

Jaydey: thanks bro see you when I get home

SmartParker: see you at home man

After texting Peter, Harry and Gwen I put my phone back into my pocket and continued to head home to hopefully get ready for the dance and more importantly get myself ready for Veronica Lodge.
