(Yn POV)

I was able to defeat Android 16 while protecting Future Gohan, next was Mira who was one of the Antagonists of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series. He works with Towa another Antagonist, I hate to admit that Mira is a tough fighter. In the main Dragon Ball timeline where Future Trunks return to his future to protect from Android 16 power up with dark ki from the alternate future timeline. Out of fucking nowhere the Cell form this timeline in his perfect form. Damn, I almost died from fighting against him! Went ahead to do some more grinding to get stronger. I called a day and exited out of my Instance Dungeon and Instant Transmission to teleport where Shiraori is at.

Yn lvl.43: Hm?

It seems there's a fight between Shiraori and that Earth Dragon name Araba. A few days ago we've run into him, Shiraori is determined to defeat Araba in order to get stronger. I decided to be a spectator unless something happens.

Yn: 'Be careful, Shiraori'.

The went on as I followed them through the caves pathway until Shiraori was completely hurt. I didn't waste time to Instant Transmission appear between them. I glared at Araba whose cover in blue flames to counter my childhood friend webs and ready to beat the shit out of him!

Yn: Your DEAD.

As I'm about to fight Araba. Shiraori stops me saying SHE wants to be the one to defeat him. Doesn't want me to keep protecting her like always.

Shiraori: P-please.

Yn:.........fine.

Instantly move out of the way and watch from the sidelines.

Shiraori: I am not quitter! I'll fight until the very end! You can keep coming, but I refuse to give up until it's really over!

Araba dashes toward Shiraori with his breath attack, Shiraori shoots another attack of her new skill called "Evil Eye". They fell through the whole down as I flew at fast speeds and caught her in my arms.

Yn: I got you.

Landed down onto my feet gently put Shiraori on the floor. Shiraori slowly stands back up. Active multiple magic glyphs ready to unleash her attack except wasn't gonna fight back which he could go on anymore even slowly dying it frustrated Shiraori. Doesn't look frustrated nor afraid at all, Shiraori vented her frustrations and anger to her opponent.

Shiraori: Krgh. Screw you! So your satisfied ending like this!? You did your best, huh. No regrets for Araba is that right!? Where's your sense of resilience!? How could you give up so easily!? Keep pushing! Can't you try to fight a bit harder! You should beg for your life of struggle or put some effort. At least try to survive. I reincarnated once so I don't know what weight it carries. But most of the time if you die then it's it! I don't get it. Why did you quit just like that? How could you give up life so easily?

Tears form from her eyes streaming down on her cheeks. Not sure what she is saying, but I have a feeling it's more on the emotional struggle and sense of pride. Araba vanishes into light and indicates that he's.....dead. Shiraori leveled up and evolved again it restored her body and her back side turned black with her leg blades having a black trim. Shiraori walked toward me leaning against me.

Shiraori: 'Can I stay like this for a bit'?

I kneel down to pat her head.

Yn: 'Yeah'.

Shiraori: 'Thank you'.

(Shiraori POV)

We've finally made it out of the labyrinth! About time! Man, it felt like forever just to get out. Although we have an unexpected company of many guards. I did try to knock them down without killing except it didn't work. Yn scolded me a bit for that. I've decided to check my stats finding my race change which comes with an evolution where my upper torso becomes a human! Aah! Yes! Yes! Yes! This is some what I'd wanted! May not be a whole human body. It's better than nothing. I told Yn and he's surprised there's a way for me to become part human. We kept walking through the beautiful forest with flowers, trees with green leaves, green grass and blue skies with white clouds.

Shiraori: 'Almost there. Hopefully soon I'll get a somewhat human body. The. I will confess my feelings to Yn. The man I fell in love with. My childhood. My hero. Also.....'.

I took a small glance at Yn's muscular body. Daaaamn! He's jacked! The very image of him having a six pack and tone chest. My cheeks turn red and even giggle for thinking stuff like that! Plus going on dates, holding hands and kissing too!

Shiraori: Kyaa! I can't wait! Oh, wait. That means we don't have to speak through telepathy anymore. We can speak the same language!

(Yn POV)

The thought of Shiraori becoming part human is almost a dream come true because as soon as she gained a half human body then I can tell her how I feel. But at the same time I'll have to prepare myself if she rejects me. Even if Shiraori says she doesn't feel the same way as me. I would still be there for her. My stomach made a sudden growl.

Yn: I am starving. Hmmm...

I look around to find some fruit of berries. Grab a few giving one to Shiraori while I'd eat mine.

Shiraori: 'So good'!

Yn: 'Hopefully we can enjoy this peaceful moment for a while'.
