"Where is Amelia?" Carter shouted into the air. Teacher appeared almost immediately, "Her mother needs her just as you needed your mother."

Teacher makes Carter aware that there is no time but there is a natural order of things, you can skip and play about with it but, in order to have a more complete knowing, it's sometimes best to leave things to occur as they must.

"You must have experienced certain feelings on earth, most do, some earthlings call it 'déjà vu'. It is a knowing of what is to come before it arrives in your time. When you have connected briefly with the all. " Teacher laughed and was gone once again.

Sadistic bastard, thought Carter, then he laughed out loud. It had just dawned on him that he was the bastard not Teacher, his thoughts retreated to that dark place and pondered that all he had taken for granted as fact in his life was not so. His origin, his parents, his relatives, his life was an intricate web of lies, spun by those he was meant to trust beyond trust, his family. At least Uncle Tony and Aunty Michy were still his great uncle and aunt, some things were still true, but precious few it appeared.
