"C'mon, I'll show you around." - I smiled and motioned him to follow me.

I walked through the living room, trying not to wake the twins who continued sleeping, and stepped into the kitchen where I found Lottie resting against the counter, eating an apple.

"Hey big brother, you keep leaving me to do all your duties lately, when are you going to make it up to me? I'm tired of cleaning the shit of your horse." - She said with an eyebrow raised.

I rolled my eyes and ignored her comment.

"Harry, this is Lottie." - I threw her a fake smile and she showed her middle finger to me.

Harry laughed and waved at her.

"Harry? The Styles' kid?"

"I'm pretty sure I'm not a kid anymore." - Harry answered her and I laughed.

"So, you are him."

"Last time I checked, yeah." - He smiled.

"What are you doing with Louis?"

"Lottie, cut it. He is a friend." - I said.

"Sure." - She said and rolled her eyes.

I turned to Harry again.

"Just ignore her, let's continue." - I said and kept walking, this time heading to the backyard doors.

I opened them, walking through the lawn between the house and the farm, and leading him to the stables first.

"Well, here's Theodore, you already know him. That's Sandy, Lottie's horse, that's Princess, Phoebe and Daisy's horse, and that's Rudolph, Fizzy's horse." - I said, pointing to our four horses.

Harry grinned at me but stepped back.

"I'm not going to make friends with any of them."

A loud laugh escaped my lips.

"Fair enough. Let's move on then."

We passed through the sunflower field and the orchard, receiving some compliments from Harry.
I could see he was really impressed by the magnitude of the place and how we managed to do all the things that were needed to maintain it.

I showed him the barn, with the chickens and the roosters, not catching his attention as much. After that we visited the pigs, and for last I showed him the newborn lambs.

Harry's eyes widened at the sight and ran towards the fence that surrounded them.

"Can I touch them?" - He asked and I could see the excitement in his eyes when he turned to look at me.

I laughed and nodded.

"Yeah, c'mon. I'll let you in."

We walked around the fence until we found the door, I unlocked it and let Harry in.
To my surprise, Felicitรฉ was already there, resting under a tree and feeding one of the newborns with a bottle of milk.

"Hey Fizz." - I said, making her look up at us.

"Hey."

"This is Harry." - I pointed out.

"Hi." - Harry said.

"Hello."

"Well, you're free to do whatever you want." - I told Harry and gestured around.

"Can I feed them too?"

"Yes, sure. I'll bring you a bottle."

"C'mere, you can continue with this one." - Fizzy said, interrupting me.

I looked at her and smiled, mentally thanking her.

She held the little lamb in her arms, waiting until Harry sat down next to her.
Fizz gave him the bottle of milk and taught him how to feed him, as she held the lamb in place.
I stood by the fence as I watched, not wanting to interrupt them.

After the lamb finished drinking the whole bottle, Harry held him in his lap and started caressing his head, relaxing him and drifting him to sleep in his lap.

I smiled at the scene, he was so tender and sweet.ย  It was just so soft.
Harry looked up at me for a second and when his eyes met mine, he sent me a quick smile, then returned to pay attention to his actions.

Fizzy stood up from where she was seated and walked towards me, standing by my side, both of us staring at Harry from a distance.

"It's him, right?" - She whispered.

"Huh?"

"The guy you liked. I can see it by the way you look at him."

I turned to her and bit my lip.

"Is it that obvious?"

"Pretty much. He doesn't know?"

"I think he knows but he doesn't feel the same."

"Well, that sucks."

"I know." - I said with a sigh.

"For the record, I like him for you."

I let out a giggle and shook my head in amusement.

"Thanks, I guess."

She palmed my shoulder and walked away, returning back to the house.
I stepped closer to Harry and squatted beside him.

"Whenever you want, we can go back to the house, I still haven't shown you upstairs." - I smiled.

"Yeah, give me a sec." - He moved in his place, taking the lamb up in his arms and placing him over a blanket that was at the side, their usual bed. - "Does he have a name?" - He asked, caressing the lamb's head one more time.

"The lamb?"

"Yep."

"No, I don't think so."

"Can I name him?"

"If you want."

"I think he looks like a cupcake. So, Cupcake it is."

"Okay, welcome to the family, Cupcake." - I laughed.

After that Harry and I walked back to the house, where we passed through the living room and took the stairs.
But when we were reaching the last step I saw Doris running up the stairs towards us.

"Lou!"

"Hey munchkin, you awake now?"

"Yes!"

I lifted her in my arms and continued walking Harry to the big playroom.
It wasn't a surprise to find Phoebe and Daisy there watching Netflix.

Harry politely said hello to them, who didn't pay much attention, and we stepped out, heading to my room.

"Is Harry staying for dinner?" - Doris asked me as I was opening my room's door.

"I don't know, baby girl."

"I want to play with him. Can I?"

I looked at Harry on my side and he nodded with a grin on his face.

"As long as he wants to, yeah you can."

She wiggled in my grip, wanting me to put her down as she ran to Harry.

"I want to show you my room now!" - Doris yelled and pointed at the other side of the hallway.

"Okay, show me." - Harry said and Doris took his hand, pulling him quickly in the opposite direction.

Doris made Harry sit on the floor next to her bed and took three dolls out of her toy trunk.

"You're going to be her." - She said, giving Harry the brunette doll. - "I'm this one." - She said, taking the ginger one. - "And Boo, you're this one." - She said, handing me the blonde one.

"Oh, I'm playing too? I thought this was between you and Harry." - I said.

"No, you're playing Boo." - She said and took my wrist, pulling me to the ground with them.

"Boo?" - Harry asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Family nickname." - I shrugged. - "Blame my mother."

Harry laughed and Doris was quick to shut him up, signaling him that he needed to focus on his doll.

I was truly amazed by Harry's skills with kids, he was treating my sister as his own, making her laugh, not complaining of the ridiculous rules she made up, and talking to her about her school day and her friends, and let's say that Doris wasn't shy at all, so they spent a lot of time talking between them.

And I was really happy about it, because I somehow could see that Harry wasn't uncomfortable at all, and that he was actually having a good time.

I looked up when the door opened half an hour later, showing my mother.

"Oh, hey mom, how was work?"

"Fine dear, Fizzy told me you had a guest, is everything alright here?"

"Yeah, he's Harry, mom."

Her face lightened up and quickly entered the room, walking towards us.

"Hello." - Harry said shyly.

"Harry dear, it's a pleasure to meet you, I'm happy to have you here, are you staying for dinner?"

"I don't think soโ€ฆ I should probably go back." - He said, giving her an apologetic smile.

"Oh, it's okay. You're invited any other day. You're always welcome." - She said and took Doris in her arms. - "You're coming with me, little girl."

"But mom, I'm playing with Harry and Lou."

"Yeah, but you have to shower before dinner."

Doris huffed and Harry waved at her sweetly.

"We'll continue playing another day, yeah?"

Doris smiled and nodded excitedly at him.

"I'll leave you guys alone." - My mom said and walked out of the room.

"Want to go back to my room?" - I asked, finally standing up from the floor.

"Iโ€ฆ I really think I should get going. I'm sorry."

"It's okay you spent the whole evening here anyways." - I smiled as I started walking downstairs.

Harry and I made it to the main entrance and I accompanied him to his car parked in the front lawn of the house.

"Your house is amazing, thank you for the tour. Your family is amazing too."

"I'm sure that Doris already loves you." - I said and he laughed.

"I'm glad. I love kids." - He shrugged. - "And it was a really nice day, so thanks for that too I guess. I said it earlier, but everything is calmer when you're around, and I need that, you know?"

"I'm glad I helped, then." - I smiled.

He was looking right into my eyes, connecting in a way that didn't compare to all the times before. I could see he was softening, he was letting me see through his shell.
I knew something had changed since our hug earlier that day, we were somehow closer.

"I'm glad you found me."

He took a step back and grabbed the car door handle, but stopped abruptly and looked at me from above his shoulder.

"I'll see you tomorrow morning, right?"

"At the beach." - I nodded.

He sighed in relief, as if I had just said exactly what he wanted to hear, and opened his car door for real this time, getting inside and closing it behind him.

I stood still and watched him drive away.
Once he disappeared, I got inside the house once more, running upstairs and not wanting to see or talk to anyone.
I collapsed in my bed and covered my head with my pillow, shouting against it, and letting all my frustrations flow away.

I needed time to myself and to get everything clear, because Harry was really messing with my head in no explainable ways.

Minutes passed as I drowned in my thoughts, when I felt a soft knock on my bedroom door.

"Go away!"

"It's me, dear." - I heard my mom's voice from the other side.

I sighed and closed my eyes.

"Okay, come in."

I heard the door opening and closing behind her, a few steps on the floor and then I felt how she sat at the edge of the bed.

"He left?"

"Yes." - I sighed.

"You wanted to talk this morningโ€ฆ it's about him?"

"Mom, so much happened between yesterday and today that I don't even know where to start. It's so messed up."

"Tell me everything, we have all night."
