I knew it! He definitely did it on purpose, he is just not admitting it now, Mr. Chad is in trouble for sure.

I send a message to Leo saying:

" congratulations I guess.. 😅"

" You are so dead! 😠" he replied.. Haha. Keep dreaming you are never going to catch me alive!

He is moving too much now, I just realized how much he walks around when he is stressed, his camera view is blurry because of that, I got up and head straight to the kitchen, I will make myself instant ramen, and I will just look from Chad's camera..

"ᴀᴄᴄᴇꜱꜱ ɴᴏᴛ ɢʀᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ" it said on the screen. Did he just banned me from using his camera..?! Why though? are they planning something I don't know about... this is no fun. I picked up my ramen from the oven, sat on my desk and now I am trying to connect my laptop with Leo's camera to see if he is still nervous..

"Hey, thanks for letting me borrow your journal on reports again. " said Noah coming out of my room, I kinda flinch on his sudden voice.

"you scared me! No problem, I am glad I could help. " I said turning to look at him.

"Sorry, my bad I will be leaving now, see you tomorrow, you better rest up or else you will fall asleep mid lecture, take care" he said unlocking the door.

Damn it! I almost forgot I have a class tomorrow, I don't wanna go to school, come to think of it, Ever since Leo left I haven't been to school much, I am sure Gilbert will force me to go again, I hate having school when I am having fun at work, I really need a vacation from school!

The camera is connected with my laptop, good now let's see what they are up to. Looks like someone is coming into the office, probably new clients, let's see who is it this time, and how interesting is the case, the more dangerous it is, the more fun it is!.

The door got opened but Chad is in the way, can't he just move a little bit i wanna see who it is! what is he even trying to do?

"Move away old man, MOVE" without realizing I said it out loud and my mom woke up on my voice. I can hear her coming downstairs! I quickly turned off my laptop and got into my bed to pretend, I am sleeping.

"Alex?! Why are you still awake? Don't you have school tomorrow- huh? He is sleeping? I am sure I heard someone's voice? was that hallucination? I am probably high or something" she said and left the room in confusion, that was a close call!

I waited few minutes to make sure mom is not coming back, I turned on my phone to connect the camera, because laptop would take time, and I need to find out what they are up to..

"ᴀᴄᴄᴇꜱꜱ ɴᴏᴛ ɢʀᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ" HUH?! Is he playing games with me?! Why did he turned off his camera as well?

This is it! I am calling Leo! Or else I will probably die from curiosity, after trying for almost 15 minutes he picked up!

"What's going on?! were you planning something important? why did Chad suddenly turn off your camera? Are you guys hiding something from me?" I burst out in anger.

"Calm down! One question at a time!" he replied giggling at me. this dreamy brat! Wasn't he upset few minutes ago, they definitely did something fun without me.

"You think this is funny huh?! Tell me what are they hiding, is it about me, are they making fun of me?!" I asked furiously.

"It's really nothing important, it's just that Emily came so suddenly, although i am also concerned why Mr. Chad turned off my camera forcefully, there was nothing specific in our conversation anyways why did he do it i wonder, maybe you do this often so he must did it to annoy you. " he replied laughing.

The bowl of ramen fell from my hand as I heard her name, the grief was all over me.. She is back!, It's over! my peace.. It's really over!.. Why?! just why does she have to come back when I am finally happy!

"what was that? are you okay? Lucas?! Are you there hello?! Lucas???" asked Leo worrying, I simply replied I am okay and hung up, picked up the broken bowl, cleaned up, and went to bed. Mom is probably deep asleep by now. She is a heavy sleeper.

I am deep in thoughts trying to sleep, Turning over, changing the pillow sides, taking deep breath, drinking water, nothing is really working, it's harder for a person to sleep when you are stressed. I received a message from Chad.

"Come outside right now! It's freezing today🥶, I have something important to talk to you about." it says. If this is a nightmare, I desperately want to wake up right now!

I took my jacket, an extra blanket for Chad, and left the house quietly making sure mom doesn't wake up again.

I saw him shivering in cold, his jacket is covered with snow, I opened the garage and let him in, I gave him the blanket and he thanked me, we are sitting in silence just looking at each other.

"Emily came back" he said breaking the silence, even hearing her name makes me mad.

" You shouldn't have left Leo alone with her, I thought you understand me. " I replied looking at him disappointed.

" Yeah.. you are right I shouldn't have, but since Gilbert was there, I know that she can't take action in front of her dad" he said assuring me.

" You don't get it! If she want to do it , she won't hesitate even in front of Gilbert." I said standing up, this is driving me crazy, how did I even managed to get myself into this mess!

"I have told you so many times, he is your boss don't call him by his first name!, and don't worry about Leo, I promise you as long as I am here, no one and that means not even Emily can hurt him." he said convincing me while holding my shoulders, he is pretty bad at comforting people, but it makes me feel better just because he is bad at it.

We both smiled at eachother and sat for a while until his phone started ringing. He pointed at his phone to let me know he is gonna be back in a minute.

"Oh no I almost forgot about that, I will be there in 15 minutes." he said and hung up.

"Who was it?" I asked.

"It was Gilbert asking me to pick up Leo, gotta go, see you tomorrow. " he said and gave me the blanket back.

"I won't be seeing you tomorrow, I have a class." I said, it's annoying! now that Emily is back, I wanna be around Leo the most.

" Yeah.. You made an agreement with Gilbert to take classes regularly from now on, best of luck for that, I will make sure to keep Leo away from Emily " he left as he said that.

I stared at the garage for a second, this cruel energy around me is just giving me headache, the last thing I want to do is going to bed, so that the stress could go away just for a while.

I picked up my stuff, locked the garage, went inside the house quietly, got into bed and before I know it, I fell asleep.

Few hours later..

" ALEX! you are late for school" she yelled, I opened my eyes to see it's mom, I got up to check the time, I am LATE!

I quickly grabbed my uniform and wore it, I brushed my hair, took my bag and ran towards the door as fast as I can.

"Have breakfast before you leave" mom yelled.

"I am late mom, see you at lunch" I said as I left the house.

I am running late! It's all because of Emily I hate her!

Once I reached the school I took a sign of relief, I am walking towards the entrance, people chit chatting in the early morning, students and teachers saying good morning to eachother, starting their day with smile on their faces, some are nerds trying to get away from the school bully Jackson and his gang, he sure gave Noah hard time as well, some students are girls, and among them are the gossip group, some girls giving eachother compliments , some are running because they are late like me, overall the whole day is filled with bright Era of sunlight, it's refreshing to be back to school.

"Hey, wait up for me partner" I heard a familiar voice, I turned around and saw Noah coming from behind, he sure is looking happy today, let's hope Jackson won't see him around , that guy reallyyyy has a problem with his happy face.

"Hey, Noah good morning partner!" I replied matching his energy, he simply giggled, I am glad he is happy around school today.

"Hey, do you think boss will send that new kid to school as well since we all are taking class today" he asked as we are walking towards class.

"What do you mean by all, we are the only ones who goes to this school" I said confused, he gave me that look of "Really?" while rising his one eyebrow, and the realization hit me.

"OH... you mean the twins, yeah I almost forgot about them" I said laughing awkwardly.

"WAIT UP!.. you almost forgot your bag" she said, I turned to look at her, she was giving Leo his bag pack, just when I thought I was having a good day!

Why the hell did he came with her?, Is Chad dead or something?

this completely ruined my day seeing her crossing away from our school road, she stopped to say goodbye to Leo and good morning to me and Noah.

Noah just ignored her and went straight to the class, as for Leo, he looks like a crazy lover who found his love at first sight , she smiled at us for a while and told the driver to keep going, for Leo it was just a normal smile but for me... It's like a threat!

"Good morning" he said which brought me back to reality.

"Why did you came with her? Weren't you with Chad last night?" I asked concerned.

"Yeah about that.. He came late to pick me up so he overslept this morning" he said awkwardly.
