We have finally reached the office. The sun is rising. it's so beautiful right now. The just-risen sun shine softly on the city streets, bringing with it a flurry of early morning activity along with the sound of birds. I am taking pictures of this picture perfect moment.

"Are you like obsessed with the sky or something?, it has been 20 minutes now quit taking pictures and focus!" said Mr. Gilbert mockingly. What's his problem? Let me enjoy for a second? I almost forgot we are in trouble.

"look it's your fault not mine, besides Mr. Chad will never scold me like you if I take pictures of the nature" I said rolling my eyes. He is on my nerves since yesterday.

"Kid, there are alot of things Chad can do, don't ever underestimate a cop, he might even scold you harder than me in some cases. " he said with a warm smile. Is he smiling? He was just nervous a second ago.

He stopped the car near his office, I looked around and saw the street near the office and got a nostalgic feeling of my grandfather being dragged by the police. He sure deserves to be in prison. We got out and I rushed towards the office because I haven't seen Mr. Chad in a while, he would be mad at Mr. Lincoln but I am sure he wouldn't be mad at me. It's not my fault anyways

I grabbed the keys and tried to unlock the door, I rotate the key inside the lock. it opens with a crack sound.

"Watch out!" said Mr. Gilbert and pushed me away, before the door got burst open and Mr.Chad threw a chair at us. "He throws things at me when he is angry. He knows I would expect it and get out of the way." Mr. Gilbert whisperered. HUH?! Am I dreaming? Did Mr. Chad tried to kill us or something? I can't believe what I am seeing right now.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?! I have a kid with me" said Mr. Gilbert angrily on which Mr. Chad started laughing like crazy, I thought I and Mr. Chad were getting along well. Why is he mad at me? I didn't do anything wrong.

"Mr. Chad I am sorry but it wasn't my fault. It was his" I said furiously pointing at Mr. Gilbert.

"SO NOW THIS IS MY FAULT?!" asked Mr. Gilbert fighting back.

"Yes it is!" I replied facing him. I really can't stand this man!

"SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU" said Mr. Chad. Is he the same person I saw before.

"Look Chad I am sorry for being so careless,I promise I won't do it again just forgive me this ONE TIME" said Mr. Gilbert freaking out. Mr. Chad smiled at him. This is not looking good.

"No problem I forgive you, since you already paid the price for it" said Mr. Chad with a smirk. I entered the office and OMG this place is a mess!

"What do you mean by that?" asked Mr. Gilbert. He came inside.. He stared at the office for a while.

"what have you done Chad... why.." he said almost whisperering. He is so disappointed that he might cry or in the worst case faint.

"lock me again and I will destroy the whole office" said Mr. Chad angrily. This is not Mr. Chad I have seen earlier, he looks possessed! My phone started ringing.. It's Lucus. I picked up.

"He has OCD" said Lucas. Huh? He didn't even say hello.

"Who?" I asked.

"Mr. Gilbert. He has extreme OCD of arranging things, if you don't help him arrange the things, he might have panic attack." he said worrying. I am not sure if I am shocked about Mr. Gilbert having OCD or Lucas knowing that his room is a mess right now.

"Hold up. How in the world you know that his room is a mess right now? " I asked confused.

"I am watching you through the safety camera, let's talk about that later first you have to make sure that boss is okay." he said and ended the call. What in the world is happening right now?, A camera on me? Where is it? I have so many questions..

I got a message from Lucas.." Go already you dreamy brat!" it said. Huh. He never calls me by my name. I hurriedly went back inside the office.

Mr. Gilbert was already having mental breakdown. "My whole life is ruined, I have no reason to live anymore. He should have just killed me instead." he said almost crying while sitting in the corner.

"It's okay.. It's okay we can fix this" I said while making him stand up. "We could use your help too.." I said to Mr. Chad who is enjoying the chips on the sofa unbothered.

After that we spend almost 2 hours to clean up and position his things until his OCD was satisfied. Although the mess wasn't that big. he literally spend 20 minutes on the tiniest thing to satisfy himself. for example placing his pen in the colour order, arranging his fishes. We even looked for a fish called "Miracle" for 40 minutes straight and found it in the tank near his Sofas. I am exhausted now! After what it felt like 10 minutes of rest I got up and walked out of the office to call Lucus.

"I was just expecting to hear from you, good work cleaning the office, you are pretty impressive." he said laughing.

"thank you for the compliment but you still haven't clear my doubts" I said. I really need to know where exactly is this camera located that he could watch me so closely

"Yeah, about that it's on your jacket's pocket near your left shoulder, it looks like a red button but is actually a tiny camera." he said giggling and I tried to find it. I finally figured the button on the left side was a bit weird as compared to the right one I touched it and felt a lense. I thought he was just joking or something. But it's real!

" Yeah that's it, and now you are covering it with your finger, the reason why it's tiny is that it's for safety purposes, so that people won't be able to harm it or break it, and since it's tiny people like Mr. Chad could use it for spying as well." he said explaining me.

" Wait a second.. Why Mr. Chad?" I asked concerned. He just simply laughed.

" You still don't know? When you came here last night, your camera was activated, so that must means someone was watching your every step and we are the only ones that knows it's attached, he must be the one who was spying on you because I, Mr. Gilbert and the others were at the scene and the only person remains was Mr. Chad." he said laughing at me. If he was spying on us. Does that mean. He knows what we have been talking about on his back? So that's why he was mad, not like we said anything to offend him or something.

" okay here is an important question, how do you know its activated? And does it ever turns off?" I asked concerned.

"It has a light, and the fun fact is we all have different lights, yours is red, mine is blue, the twins has yellow and pink, Noah has orange, Mr Chad has white which matches his uniform as well and Mr. Gilbert has green, and you know the part that the whole jacket matches the camera colour,unlike yours we all had jackets, If the camera is activated the light flashes if it's not activated the light automatically turns off. Another fun fact about this is that no one would know your camera is recording, so in the worst cases if you got attacked, we will have a the perfect evidence. " woah! That's some cool stuff, who are these guys exactly an undercover search team or something?

"You know I am definitely impressed by these inventions but moreover I am shocked to know that you were the part of a search team, I understand now why you didn't tell me about it, it's for your team's safety, I was mad at first that you didn't tell me before but now I understand " i said complimenting him.

"Hehe, thank you for the compliment, but hey you are officially one of us now, welcome to the team, from now on we will call you Mister. Leo Williams the greatest detective, if it suits you obviously" he giggled. WAIT A SECOND?! what does he mean by that?

"NO! how in the world did I became a part of your team without knowing?!" I asked nervously. This is not giving me positive vibes!

"You must be kidding me! Of course you became the part of the team, why would Mr. Chad gives off an important jacket to just anyone?! wait a second. Leo please don't freak out but I think Mr. Chad accidentally gave you the wrong jacket, so.. In conclusion he will forcefully make you a member of the team, because I misunderstood the situation and you know all the secrets now. " he said awkwardly laughing. HE IS DEAD FOR SURE!

"HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME NOT TO FREAK OUT!? just wait until I get you because you are so dead! I will just call you later! I have some stuff to settle with Mr. Chad here" I said and hang up.

This can't be happening!.. How did I even went from committing a suicide to becoming the part of the most dangerous search team?

I rushed inside the office and saw them still arguing about the office disaster.

"I need to talk to both of you!" I said in the most raspy voice.

They both stopped arguing and looked at me shocked.

"Go ahead we are listening" said Mr. Gilbert sitting on his chair. Mr. Chad was near the sofa, so he sat as well.

I told them everything about the jacket and what Lucas told me about it. Mr. Chad looks embarrassed and about Mr. Gilbert I am not sure if he is mad or happy because he is BOTH at the same time. Is he having mood swings again? This man is so unpredictable.

"Look I am sorry for giving you the wrong jacket, I was in a hurry and had no other option left." said Mr. Chad apologizing. I was about to say something but Mr. Gilbert cuts me off.

"He might have done it on purpose as well as much as I know him." said Mr. Gilbert, I hate to say this but I agree on this with Mr. Gilbert

"On purpose or not, it's clearly Lucas's fault that he told you everything without thinking, so.." I can see where this is going!

" So now you can't escape, the only 2 options you have are living in your house alone or living as a detective with Mr. Chad and since Chad won't let you live alone that easily, the 2nd option it is! Welcome to the team, do your best kid and best of luck! " said Mr. Gilbert and left to open the door to someone knocking, Mr. Chad looks so happy it's annoying me right now. My phone vibrated.

Notification popped on my phone saying

" congratulations I guess.. 😅" from Lucas.

This is PERFECT! My day can't get any worse.

I am stressing about all these unexpected things which are happening to me as I hear someone coming into the office.. It is a girl who looks my age.. She has green eyes and brunette hair, just like Mr. Gilbert, I could say she is a female version of Mr. Gilbert, she is wearing uniform, it looks like she came straight from the school, she is so pretty!

"DAD! you didn't pick me up from school today, and when are you getting Chad's car back, I don't like yours, I like his car MORE!" said the girl.

"EMILY! where are your manners? can't you see we are in the middle of something, and how many times have I told you not to visit me at work, it's dangerous around here!" said Mr. Gilbert while giving her death stare. She rolled her eyes.

"And you know so well that no one can touch Emily Lincoln." she smirked, she is so cool. Mr. Gilbert noticed me staring.

"Anyways meet him, he is a new member to our team, Leo Williams." he said introducing me to his daughter.

"Nice to meet you, Leo I am Emily Lincoln" she said while shaking my hand with a smile.

My day can't get any better!

"Um Leo, I will just do a little bit of setting changes on your jacket cam if you don't mind?" asked Mr. Chad, I unconsciously nodded and he grabbed my shoulder to change something on my cam. I don't even care, because Emily Lincoln is the most prettiest girl I have ever seen!
