"Get in! Kids" said Mr. Chad, how did I end up skipping school with them, they all pushed through me to get inside the car, and Mr. Chad came outside of the car.

"Easy kids, Leo you can sit in the front seat," said Mr. Chad holding the door for me, everyone looks shocked, Is it because of me?

"Thank you," I said as he closed the door, Lucas leaned towards me as soon as Mr. Chad closed it.

"What type of magic have you been doing on him? " whispered Lucas, and quickly sat back when he noticed Mr. Chad coming inside the car.

"You guys know the plan right?" asked Mr. Chad looking at us, everyone nodded except me. This is my first mission after all.

" Any updates on this Noah?" asked Lucas, Mr. Chad is driving fast, looks like we are in an emergency.

"According to the news this morning and our investigation on this, she was last seen at her best friend's place," said Noah while going through his tablet with investigation files.

"Have you questioned all the girls who were at the party?" asked Mr. Chad, while his eyes are focused on the road.

"Yes, Sir I and Olivia were at their place last Friday questioning them. But it seems like they don't know anything about the disappearance of Eliana," said Oliver from the back seat.

I have so many questions regarding this matter and the disappearance of this girl name 'Eliana'. But I am more concerned about how Mr. Gilbert will react when he sees us.

" May I ask a question? " I asked concerned, and everybody just started staring at me, it feels weird when everyone's eyes are on you.

"Sure you can ask anything, you are a part of the team now," said Mr. Chad politely, and I can sense everyone giving me questionable looks. Did I do something to offend them or Is it because of Mr. Chad's behavior towards me?

"Mr. Chad you are a police officer right?"  I asked nonchalantly, he just nodded while being focused on the road, the traffic is more than usual today since the headlines, and people are gathered around Eliana's house.

"Why did the news about Eliana's disappeared spread today, although she has been missing for a month now?" I asked concerned, while the others tried to listen attentively.

"Because her mother reported the incident last Thursday, what are you trying to highlight here?" asked Mr. Chad while giving me a serious look, he is always so cheerful afar from that office disaster of course, but I must admit that he is pretty serious about his work.

" Why didn't her mother report this earlier, it's the 12th of August today if I am not wrong she reported the case on the 7th of August which means 1 month and 2 days after she disappeared," I said, explaining the fact that the report itself is suspicious enough.

"So you are trying to say that Mrs. James has something to do with this case?" asked Mr. Chad, while the others are collecting their thoughts on this matter.

I nodded in agreement and he pull over his car to some empty place and asked us to lower our voices, he is making a call, and we can still see Mrs. James' house from there... The windows are pretty dirty, could it be Eliana's room? It must be because of the purple and pink wallpaper which is seen even from this far... I wonder why Mrs. James doesn't clean it anymore. This makes me think she has something to do with her daughter's disappearance even more.

After a few seconds, the person on the other side of the call picked up.

"Hello?" said Mr. Gilbert, as we all heard his voice on speaker, I see he was calling him.

" We have an emergency," said Mr. Chad in his raspy voice.

"I am on my way, let's talk when I get there," said Mr. Gilbert and was about to hang up.

"No stop! we have change of plans" said Mr. Chad.

"What do you mean change of plans?, we were supposed to arrive at Eliana's house by evening," said Mr. Gilbert with confusion in his voice.

"I will tell you that later, Meet us at the old building," said Mr. Chad and was about to hang up.

"us? What do you mean by 'US'?" asked Mr. Gilbert angrily, that's it.. we are doomed!

"I mean us, you and me," said Mr. Chad while making an awkward face.

"You brought the kids with you, didn't you? I told you not to disturb them during their school hours!" said Mr. Gilbert when he realized.

Mr. Chad hung up and smiled awkwardly at us.

"Let's just reach our destination first before worrying about Gilbert, shall we?" said Mr. Chad and started driving, yeah right! As if we aren't in big trouble when he sees us, he even sounds scary on a phone call, which caused shivers down my spine!

We reached our destination shortly after that, Lucas, Noah, and the twins got outside the car, and Mr. Chad opened the door for me again, Obviously, the others are shocked again, what's with them today?

"Just tell me already what did you do to Mr. Chad he isn't always like this," asked Lucas with a serious face while hitting my head.

"Ouch! I didn't do anything to him" I said scared, what's with everyone today, why so serious all of a sudden?

"You better start explaining Chad," said Mr. Gilbert as he saw us coming, he is standing near the abandoned building, of course, he got here before us, and this man is always on time.

"We can leave the explanation for another time, first let's talk about Eliana's matter," said Mr. Chad, he is giving a sign to Noah.

Noah took out his tablet from the car and started going through some files, the others are taking a spot to sit down

"Over here Leo," said Mr. Chad as he points to a place beside him, calling me to sit down before Noah starts talking.

As we all sat down, Noah started to give report details on the case.

"Eliana James was seen at Alice's place on her birthday, according to the reports of Oliver and Olivia... These are the suspects:
*Emma* (one of her classmates) was sick on her birthday, and couldn't make it to the party, which makes her suspicious, but her health card says otherwise, you all can find the hospital files of Emma in Oliver's hand.

*Posie* (also one of her classmates) the one in the black shirt, the photo is also with Oliver, she fought with Eliana at the party which was recorded by one of her friends as fun of course and the recording of the fight is in my tablet if you want to check it out later..the fight made her suspicious...

Moving on with *Alice* ( owner of the house) she is suspicious because the place of disappearance was from her house. And lastly, *Madison* ( her best friend) let's not talk about her, she was all cry and no gain statement, Oliver had a hard time investigating so he just executed her from suspects and Leo would like to add one more suspect Mrs. James her mother, that's all thank you for your attention." said Noah while putting his files back in his bag.

I can see Mr. Gilbert's face turning into a shocked expression.

"What makes you think, Mrs. James should be one of the suspects?" he asked with a questionable expression.

I explained to him about Mrs. James being suspicious, and he listened attentively, I must say he is a good listener, good thing I saved myself and the others from scolding, maybe for some time.

Olivia, Oliver, and Noah came and showed us evidence they were meant to show in this case. After looking at the pieces of evidence we concluded that these aren't enough, we need more proof.

" Alright, so what's the plan now?" asked Mr. Gilbert, if we are talking about the plan, I am also curious

"Isn't it obvious?, we are going to question Mrs. James" said Mr. Chad looking at us all.

"I see so we will start with Mrs.James, seems like a good start," I said proudly. Everyone gave me an agreement sign, except Mr. Gilbert, he looks annoyed, which is scary!

"We were supposed to meet at her place, but you brought us all here instead," said Mr. Gilbert frustrated.

"I know... I know... but when Leo said that Mrs. James is suspicious, I noticed something was off about her place" said Mr. Chad nonchalantly, I am getting flashbacks about the time he dragged me out of the elevator, he looks the same right now, cold serious, and focused.

"What is it?" asked Mr. Gilbert, I just hope he has something to say and not just blame it on me again.

"Noah, you said that you were researching Mrs. James's mental health conditions, did you get any information about it," asked Mr. Chad, I hate it when he asks random questions and never gets to the point, it increases my curiosity...

"Yes, Sir she has OCD like Mr. Gilbert but a little more extreme, she could faint, scream, or in some cases hurt herself, common enemy: dust or dirt, she has been having therapy for 11 years now. She is a clean freak and can't handle any uncleaned place around her house" said Noah as he finished explaining his part of the investigation.

" Yes, Sir he is right, when I and Olivia visited her house she flinched and immediately started cleaning the floor like crazy, she is completely not normal," said Oliver and looked at Olivia, she nodded in agreement telling us that's exactly what happened when they visited her.

"Alright... Thank you, Noah, Olivia, and Oliver for confirmation, now Leo tell me something" he said while he turned towards me, not this again...what is it this time?

"Yes, s.. s... Sir" I said nervously.

"Did you notice something from the window of Mrs. James' house?" he asked while smirking, what is he pointing out? and then it hit me and I gasped, he can feel it coming out too, he is smirking at me even harder now.

how did he even manage to catch me staring at their windows? I am pretty sure he was making a call at that time.

"The windows were dirty and if she has OCD  the windows wouldn't have been that dirty, also according to Olivia and Oliver... She started cleaning after they arrived. not beforehand which means she might be acting in front of them" I said as I looked at Mr. Chad, he gave me a warm smile.

"To clear my point now.., Mrs. James lied about having OCD, How can we even trust a person who has been lying to her family for 11 years, my advice is to find her and investigate this matter, but.. she isn't home because she knew we are also going to question her, so we have to trace her location somehow," said Mr. Chad with a serious face.

We all are thinking about the possibility, she could have used it to run away from our questions, and suddenly Olivia and Oliver stood up and looked at each other with shocked experience.

" Are you thinking what I am thinking?" asked Olivia excitedly

"YES, twin telepathy!" screamed Oliver and they both started jumping in joy.

"Guys?! we are still here, we have to find her, tell us what you know" asked Mr. Gilbert which made them come back to reality.

"Oh right sorry! She often visited Dr. Browns, while we were going through her things we found her therapy reports, she visits him every week," said Oliver while looking at Olivia, she nodded in agreement.

"Do you guys know where he lives? Maybe we can visit him" I asked in concern, we just need to get this done with, I wanna go home...

They both think for a while and Olivia showed us a picture of the exact place where we can find Dr. Browns.

We all got inside the car as Oliver and Olivia told us the directions while Mr. Gilbert followed us with his car, I am still afraid this car is going to explode or something, how come it came back perfectly without even a scratch!?

Shortly we arrived at Dr. Brown's clinic, at the front door it was written "opened" so we entered one by one. Olivia is in the front because she was the one who told us about this place. We entered a hall with several rooms, Olivia is looking at them closely, and she stopped at the 7th door.

"This is the room according to the picture we found in Mrs. James's house," she says quietly trying to unlock the door which seems locked.

While the others and I are looking at the previous rooms for evidence, Oliver is guarding the gate for his sister, I saw a door with '5' written on it... I open it and the dust which fell all over me made me cough a little, I entered it, there are some old newspapers all over the place, the tiles are broken, there are pieces of light bulbs in the corner..the whole room is dusty... This looks like an abandoned place, I am searching through the room... I found a box with some papers in it, just when I am about to look at it.

A scream echoed through the hall, it's Olivia, I quickly grabbed some papers folded them, and put them inside my pocket we all ran inside the room where Olivia was, worryingly to see what happened.

When we entered the room, Olivia quickly hugged her brother in shock reaction.

The room is filled with blood stains all over the place... It's... It's... Mr. Brown's dead body...! He is lifeless on the ground. I am weak in my stomach, while Mr. Chad and Gilbert are examining the body, someone stabbed him right in the heart...The knife is still stuck in his chest! It's wide open, I can see his dissected organs so clearly from where I am standing... Even if his heart was still beating I am sure I could have seen it beating right out of his chest, every organ in his chest is seen so clearly... This is nothing like movies... It's real life and there is no sensor on the blood!

I can't take it anymore..! I feel like I am going to throw up!
