Chapter 1: {Superstars}
IMPORTANT PSA: For the sake of this book, although the setting will be Japan and the characters are Japanese, most of the songs will be popular English songs. However, there will probably be some K-Pop or Japanese songs. Also, if you do not like the songs that I put in here, I am very sorry. Because it's a pop star au, there will of course be singing, and I have to pick songs. If you like, you can suggest songs that you like between chapters.
ALso
This chapter is gonna be super long because there are song scenes for three characters. There may be some repetition, so please bear with me! I promise it gets better!and also I hate it it's cringy
If you'd like, you can skip past the singing part because I just wanted to show the singing style of each character. I'll tell you when it ends.
Izuku 💚🌟
Location: Tokyo Stadium, Japan
Time: 7:00 pm
Tokyo Stadium was packed to the brim, jammed with people. They sat anxiously, waiting for the person they were all here to see.
Suddenly, the chatter petered out and an announcer stepped onstage. He held a microphone, and wore a black suit.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for joining us here tonight. This place is packed!" he gestured.
"But I'm sure you're all sitting on the edge of your seats, so without further ado..." He paused, letting the echo of his words hang in the air.
"Give it up for Japan's Sweetheart, Izuku Midoriya!" He ran off stage and the crowd roared, whistling and clapping.
Soon the stadium quieted, and the air was tense with excitement.
A spotlight shone on a hole in the center of the stage.
The audience waited with bated breath.
Suddenly, a platform started rising up out of the ground, revealing a silhouetted figure standing on it.
A spotlight traveled along the stage until it illuminated the figure, a teenage boy with ruffled green hair holding a microphone to his mouth. He was wearing a red suit.
His features were boyish and young, and as he waved enthusiastically, the crowd roared with delight. Handsome wasn't the right word. He was almost..pretty. Cute was the best way to describe him.
LOOOK AT HIIIIM

BECAUSE I CAN'T RESIST POP STAR DEKU
"Hey, everybody! How's it going in Tokyo?" he laughed into the mic. His voice was carefree, clear, and happy-one that was made for bursting into song.
The audience roared, clapping and whistling.
"Is anyone else having a good day? Ready to have fun tonight?" He smiled and held the microphone towards the audience, who cheered their approval.
"Me too! So let's get this party staaaar-teeeed!" he twirled and sang.
The crowd roared enthusiastically, clapping and shouting their immense approval.
"Izu-ku! Izu-ku! Izu-ku!"
okay so he's gonna sing
Like I said at the top, this is a popular American song called Sucker by the Jonas Brothers.
Not my favorite song, but it's pretty good and peppy and, ya know...Izuku-ish.
I recommend it! It's one of those that will get stuck in your head, but it's a great pick-me-up.
I'll link it right here! (I've never seen the music vid, I just want you to be able to listen!)

Turn it on while you read this part if you want.
The boy cleared his throat, and the audience quieted.
A quiet, peppy tune started, and Izuku Midoriya leaned into the microphone, closing his eyes.
"We go together. Better than birds of a feather, you and me." His voice was so clear and honeyed, but it was also tinged with a hint of sorrow. Anyone listening instantly got the feeling that he was putting everything into his voice as he sang.
"We change the weather, yeah. I'm feeling heat in December when you're 'round me."
For a moment, there was absolute silence. A spell had captured the people in the audience, and the hush that had captured the crowd was almost audible.
The boy on stage opened his eyes, surveying the crowd. A grin quirked at the corner of his mouth.
He broke the silence. "I've been dancing on top of cars and stumbling out of bars, I follow you through the dark, can't get enough."
"You're the medicine in the pain, the tattoo inside my brain, and baby you know it's obvious."
The audience cheered their approval.
The teenager on stage smiled and blew a kiss, starting the chorus.
"I'm a sucker for you. You say the word and I'll go anywhere blindly!"
"I'm a sucker for you, yeah. Any road you take you know that you'll find me!"
The audience sang along, clapping and cheering.
Drums started. Izuku took a deep breath and grabbed the microphone, wresting it off the stand.
"I'm a sucker for all the subliminal things, no one knows about you. Sing it with me!" he directed the last line at the crowd, who gladly obliged.
"And you're making the typical me break my typical rules. It's true." he continued.
"I'm a sucker for you."

Location: An incredibly popular club (that holds hundreds of people) in Japan
Time: 7:00 pm
Okay so if ya'll live in the USA and you like music and rap, you probably know that Juice Wrld died in December of 2019.
I did like his music, so I'm having Bakugou sing one of his most popular songs, Lucid Dreams.
Also it's a total BOP
I'll link it here: (No I have not seen the music video. If it's inappropriate or smth I had no idea. Just listen.)

F in the chat for Juice Wrld
Okay here we go.
People danced and sang along to the music blasting out of the speakers. Tokyo's most popular club had a huge party going on-and you better bet the alcohol was flowing.
Rainbow lights flashed while people danced. Complete strangers were making out in corners, and for every person that left, three more would come in.
And it was just getting started.
A man stepped on the stage at the end of the huge room.
The music cut off.
People started to murmur to themselves, confused. A few kept dancing, too drunk to notice.
"Ladies and gentlemen! I apologize for the break. But we have something very special in store for you!" he announced magnanimously.
The crowd applauded, cheering and whistling boisterously. This was the man they had all been waiting to see.
"This is a person who needs no introduction, but I will give one anyway."
The audience cheered, applauding.
"Known for his explosive persona and famed good looks, this star is the talk of Tokyo! Make some noise for the man of the hour, Katsuki Bakugou!" The announcer ran off stage and the crowd roared approval.
A teenage boy walked onstage. Except he didn't walk.
He strutted on with the type of self-assured saunter that would only be associated with someone who was completely confident.
He wore a backwards baseball cap, and what was visible of his blonde hair was spiky and sticking out at all angles.
His eyes were a piercing ruby red.
author is just going to leave this here
The blonde smirked, revealing perfect but slightly pointed teeth.
At that small gesture, several teenage girls in the audience fell over in a faint.
He ignored it, grasping the mic and pulling it off the stand.
"How are my favorite people tonight?" His voice was low, like a growl from some inhuman animal. He grinned wider, eyes sweeping across the audience.
The crowd cheered back in approval, and a few more girls went unconscious. The noise was deafening.
"Good. And from now on it'll only get better!" he yelled cockily, triggering more screams of delight.
He gripped the microphone tightly and raised it to his mouth.
A quiet, mournful melody came wafting out of the speakers.
The blonde waited for the intro to end, and then launched into song.
"I still see your shadows in my room, can't take back the love that I gave you. It's to the point where I love and I hate you and I cannot change you so I must replace you, oh."
His voice was rough and grating but beautiful and sad. And yet one could almost make out traces of anger behind his words as the man sang.
"Easier said than done, I thought you were the one, listening to my heart instead of my head." He shut his eyes, putting tidal waves of emotion into the music.
"You found another one, but I am the better one, I won't let you forget me."
The audience was going crazy. Some were singing along and dancing, some were crying, and Bakugou just kept his song going.
"I still see your shadows in my room, can't take back the love that I gave you, it's to the point where I love and I hate you and I cannot change you so I must replace you, oh."
"Easier said than done, I thought you were the one, listening to my heart instead of my head. You found another one, but I am the better one, I won't let you forget me."
The blonde took a deep breath.
"You left me falling and landing inside my grave. I know that you want me dead."
"I take prescriptions to make me feel a-okay."
"I know it's all in my head."

YES THEY'RE ALL IN TOKYO
Time: 7:00 PM
A large crowd of Japanese citizens sat in an auditorium facing a stage, chatting and murmuring to each other.
Suddenly, the lights shut off, leaving the audience in a state of confusion and excitement.
A spotlight shined on the crimson curtain, which opened to reveal a teenage boy.
The boy had a peculiar scar covering one eye, and his hair was split down the middle in half red and white.
His eyes were blue and brown, and he wore a black hoodie with blue jeans.
nO I don't havE a Picturr sTaWp
He was sitting on a stool and holding a microphone.
The audience quieted almost immediately, except for two women in the back.
"Is that him?" one whispered to the other.
"Yeah, that's Shoto Todoroki. He's super famous. We were lucky to score these tickets. Shh, he's starting!"the other answered, elbowing her friend.
A soft tune started, seemingly coming out of nowhere.
The boy on stage, Shoto Todoroki, took a deep breath before opening his mouth to sing.
WHOA WHOA SKEET SKEET
HERE'S THE SONG
(Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran)
https://youtu.be/lp-EO5I60KA
"When your legs don't work like they used to before. And I can't sweep you off your feet." Shoto's singing voice was so mournful and sad that half the crowd was tearing up.
"Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love, will your eyes still smile from your cheeks."
"And darling I will be loving you 'til we're 70, and my heart could still fall as hard at 23."
"And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways, maybe just the touch of a hand..."
"Oh me I fall in love with you every single day, and I just wanna tell you I am."
THANK THE GODS THE SINGING IS OVER
Izuku 💚
Location: Backstage (Tokyo Stadium)
Time: 9:00 PM
Izuku sat down on one of the backstage couches, sipping from a glass of water.
That was tiring, but it was super fun! Hmm, I wonder where Uraraka went.
Suddenly, the door swung open and a brown-haired girl walked towards the boy. She wore casual jeans and a t-shirt, and she held a clipboard.
Ah, there she is!
"Good show, Izu!" Ochaco Uraraka, his manager, patted him on the back."The crowd was loving it."
"Thanks, Uraraka." He smiled brightly. "It was loads of fun!"
"Get changed into regular clothes, okay? I have some people I'd like you to meet." She grinned back, then went to exit the room, making a check on her clipboard. She turned back at the door. "We're meeting at a private restaurant in 30 minutes. And take a shower, you're stanky." She fanned her nose jokingly.
Izuku rolled his eyes good-naturedly, getting up and exiting after her.
Katsuki 💛
Location: Backstage at the club
Time: 9:00 PM
The blonde paced around the small room, still wearing his concert clothes. He was still hyped up from the show.
The door opened and in walked a peculiar-looking teenage girl.
Her skin was bright pink, two stubby yellow horn protruded from her pink hair, and her eyes were pitch black with glittering yellow irises.
She was wearing a bright white suit that fitted her perfectly, and held a sleek phone in a hot pink phone case.
"Sit down, dumbass." she ordered. "I have to talk to you. Good job out there tonight, by the way. Ticket sales are through the roof."
Katsuki huffed, plopping down on a couch. "Damn right they are. The girls love me. Did you see how many fainted?" he bragged.
"Yeah. Real pain too. They took up floor space. But why do you care? You're too gay." she teased.
"I didn't hire you to bitch. What did you want anyway?" Bakugou retorted.
"Well, it's sort of a surprise. I need you to shower and change into something nice, cause we're going to a fancy restaurant. And-" she caught the blonde's look of protest-"as your manager, I have the right to make you go. This is what's best for your career."
"Oh, fuck you." Katsuki got up and started to walk out.
"Good boy!" she grinned.
He flipped her off, rolling his eyes and making a beeline for the showers.
Shoto ❤️
Location: Backstage
Time: 9:00 PM
The dual-haired boy sat on a bench next to the door to the stage, chatting with his manager and friend, Momo Yaoyorozu, who was wearing a black skirt and a white top.
"Oh, look at the time!" the black-haired girl exclaimed, checking her watch."I'll give you fifteen minutes to freshen up." She got up, muttering to herself.
"For what?" Todoroki asked, confused.
"Oh! I forgot to tell you! It's a business opportunity, you see. We're meeting up at 9:30. Please shower!" Yaoyorozu then bustled off, looking harried.
"Yaomomo?! With who?" Shoto called, feeling utterly bemused.
That was strange...
He sighed, getting up.
I better do what she says. But this is still strange...
Izuku 💚
Location: Limo
Time: 9:20 PM
"Uh, Uraraka?" Midoriya piped up. They were both sitting in the back of one of Izuku's huge, spacious limo. Two bodyguards sat across from them, faces impassive underneath large black sunglasses.
"Yeah, Deku?" The brunette called her friend by the nickname she had made up long ago. Yes I KNOW Bakugou made it up but they've never met in this story. They had known each other since high school. He was like a brother to her, so it was only natural that she help him manage his career.
She took a sip of sparkling apple juice from a champagne flue.
"Who exactly are we meeting up with?" he asked. "You didn't tell me."
"Oh!" Ochaco's eyes sparkled. "It's a surprise. But trust me, you'll like it."She sipped from her glass again, leaving Izuku to ponder her words.
What does she mean?!
They drove for a few more minutes before stopping the car at a restaurant.
"I reserved the entire restaurant so no press would bother us." Uraraka bragged.
"Uh, Ocha, this is a McDonalds." Izuku hesitantly pointed out.
"The one next to it, Deku."
"Oh!"
The bodyguards got up and opened the limo doors in unison. Izuku and Uraraka climbed out.
"Ocha, these guys are kinda creepy..." Midoriya gestured at the bodyguards, whispering into the brunette's ear.
"Don't worry, we can trust them! I made sure of it myself. You're the number one pop star in Japan, you need protection. Ya know, rabid fangirls, rivals..." she rattled off.
"Okay." If Uraraka trusted them, then so did he.
The pair walked into the restaurant.
It was eerily empty. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling, illuminating the building.
Uraraka found a large booth at the center and gestured for Izuku to sit down next to her.
Izuku sat hesitantly. "Um, Ocha? Are-"
"Yeah, I know. They should be here soon, Deku." The brunette peered through the windows, taking out her clipboard again and muttering to herself.
A few minutes later, two more limos pulled up to the restaurant. Ochaco spotted them through the window.
"That's them!" she exclaimed.
Izuku craned his neck, peering over Uraraka.
Two people climbed out of the first limo. The first was a strange-looking pink-skinned girl who looked almost like an alien.
And the second was a teenage boy that looked a bit familiar. Blonde hair stuck up from his hair in spikes and his eyes were a piercing crimson.
Is that...Katsuki Bakugou? Izuku's eyes widened. I'm a huge fan of his! Why is he here?
"Ocha! That's Katsuki Bakugou! Why are we meeting him?" Izuku asked.
"I told you you'd like the surprise. And I'll tell you later." Uraraka grinned.
Out of the second limo climbed two more people.
One was a smartly dressed girl with long black hair that was wrested into a high ponytail.
The other was a dual-haired boy that also looked familiar.
"Ochaaaa! Why is Shoto Todoroki here? You know those are my two celebrity crushes!" Izuku shook his friend. "Do I look okay?" He started to panic. I have to make a good first impression!
"Relax, Deku. You look fine! And I'm sure they've been dying to meet you too!" Ochaco reassured.
"But why are they here-"
Katsuki 💛
"Goddamnit, Alien Face!" the blonde groaned. "Why won't you tell me who we're meeting?!"
The two bickered as the limo pulled up.
"Okay, first of all, you call me either Mina or Ashido. Second, you'll find out in a minute!" Mina, the pink-skinned girl, replied testily.
"Ashido. Whatever." Bakugou peered into the rearview mirror.
"There's another limo behind us, and it's stopping." Katsuki craned his neck to peer into the other car's backseat. "It's so dark, I can barely see..."
He spotted a familiar face. Sitting in the back, Shoto chatted with a black-haired girl Katsuki didn't recognize.
"Holy fuck- Alien Face, is that Shoto Todoroki?!" Bakugou exclaimed.
Fuck, he is way hotter in person!
Mina chuckled. "Look inside the restaurant." The limo had pulled up and Katsuki peered through the windows into the building.
At the only occupied table, a brunette sat next to a boy, whose face was plastered on half the popular magazines in Japan.
He's fucking adorable.
"Alien Face! That's Izuku fucking Midoriya! The fucking most famous person in Japan! What the fuck is going on?!" Bakugou demanded.
"God, you are so gay. You'll find out soon." Ashido teased.
They stepped out of the car, Katsuki's mind reeling.
What the hell is going on?
And how the fuck does Mina know my crushes?
Shoto ❤️
"Yaomomo, are we there yet?" Shoto asked.
"Almost. Be patient!" she teased, looking up from her phone.
"What are you doing over there?" Shoto peered over at the screen, and Momo pulled it close to her heart, flushing.
"Oh-How's Jirou been doing?" Todoroki laughed, making the black-haired girl blush more.
"Look, we're here!" Momo changed the subject hastily.
The car pulled up to a restaurant. Todoroki looked through the windows of the building.
"There's only two people in there..." he frowned.
"Yes. They reserved the entire restaurant." Momo replied.
The dual-haired boy squinted. He made out a familiar head of green hair.
That's Izuku Midoriya! He's the talk of Japan! Are we meeting him? No wonder they reserved the whole restaurant...
He's so...cute. Even more so now that I see him in real life.
"Earth to Todoroki-kun?" Momo waved a hand in front of his face tentatively.
Shoto blinked. "Oh, sorry! I must have zoned out...Are we meeting Izuku Midoriya? The Izuku Midoriya?"
"Um, yes." Momo nodded sheepishly.
"Why? How? I'm not complaining, of course, but..." Shoto added, flushing slightly.
"Oh, I know. You'll find out soon, and we're not just meeting him." She gestured at the car in front of them, which Todoroki noticed was another limo.
The door opened and a pink-skinned girl in a suit climbed out, followed by a blonde with spiky hair.
The dual-haired boy squinted.
"That's Katsuki Bakugou-!"he realized.
He's also incredibly famous. And hot, too.
"Yaomomo!" he accused, flushing.
"What?" she asked innocently, smiling.
"You know very well that I find both of them incredibly attractive...Tell me why we're here!" he demanded.
"It's nothing romantic! Like I said, you'll find out in the restaurant." She opened the door and climbed out, beckoning for Shoto to follow.
She's up to something...
Author I guess? Basically Third Person. No heart because I'm forever alone.
The greenette drummed his fingers on the table nervously as Shoto, Katsuki, Mina and Momo entered the restaurant.
Uraraka beckoned them over.
The three girls sat on one side and the three boys sat on the other.
Todoroki, Bakugou, and Izuku shifted awkwardly, eyeing each other and quickly looking away.
"So why don't we introduce ourselves?" Uraraka offered, barely concealing a smile. " I'll start."
She nudged the other two, who giggled to each other.
"Wait, do you three know each other?" Todoroki frowned.
"Yeah! We've been planning this for a while." Mina high-fived Uraraka and grinned.
"Yeah, that's not concerning at all." Bakugou rolled his eyes.
"Okay. I'm Ochaco Uraraka, manager to one Izuku Midoriya. Or, Deku, as I like to call him." She smiled.
Katsuki snorted.
Deku? I'm so gonna call him that.
"I'm Mina Ashido, manager to this little blonde shit." The pink-skinned girl went next, pointing at Bakugou.
Izuku's eyes widened as he watched Katsuki's face turn red.
Todoroki struggled not to laugh.
"ALIEN FACE-"Bakugou exploded.
"Oh, shut up. Yaomomo, you're next!" Mina left Katsuki no choice but to sit back and stay silent, cheeks red.
Momo looked up hesitantly, and Todoroki nodded in encouragement.
"Uh-okay...Hello, everyone. My name is Momo Yaoyorozu, but my friends all call me Yaomomo. You may call me whatever you prefer. I help out Shoto." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Now you!" Uraraka pointed to Bakugou. "I can tell you're a fiery one." Her eyes glinted dangerously.
Bakugou grunted. "Fuckin' got that right. I'm Katsuki Bakugou. And I know who all of you are, and I'm sure you"-he gestured at Izuku and Todoroki-"know each other too. So tell us why we're here, damnit!" he demanded.
"Alright, Fine. Stop being rude, dumbass." Mina placated her client, rolling her eyes.
Ochaco took a deep breath, bursting into a smile that seemed to split her face open.
"You three are going to become the hottest new boy group!"
"What?!"
Okay so this took forever and it's like 4000 words lmao
Hope you like! I'm really excited for where it will go!
Cinny ❤️
