I. Have. No. Idea. How. To. Start. This. XD.

I step off the plane, feeling enormously jetlagged. An 8 to 9 hour flight to Japan was not exactly how I expected to be spending my summer holiday. But nonetheless, I was still incredibly excited to be starting at UA.

Aiko, my carer, stands beside me calmly. 'Welp, here we are,' she says, her hands on her hips.

I cross my arms over my chest, shivering a little. I should've been more prepared for all this cold weather- it's not really the same in Australia.

'Aah, it's so cold,' I say.

'Really? It feels warm to me,' Aiko raises an eyebrow. 'Probably because you're used to the warm weather.'

'Yeah,' I smile.

We walk inside the airport and into a small cafe. 'What time is it?' I ask, rubbing my eyes wearily as we sit down.

Aiko looks at her watch. '2:32,' she says. 'Maybe we should get back to my house so you can rest.'

'Nah, I'm alright now.' I stretch my arms out wide and give her a grin to prove a point. 'See?'

'Okay, if you say so,' Aiko smiles.

'I am!' I laugh.

'Alright then,' Aiko rolls her eyes with a grin. 'So, ready to order?'

That's when I remember where we are. Japan probably isn't going to have all the stuff we have back in Australia.

'Um, I'm not sure what to get,' I smile nervously.

'Ha, I thought you might say that.' Aiko replies. 'So I got something from the airport back in Australia.' She pulls a brown paper bag out of her backpack. 'Doughnuts!' she announces.

My eyes widen. 'Aiko, you didn't!'

'Oh, but I did,' She grins.

After we've finished our food, we sit for a little while longer in the cafe to relax. Aiko looks up from her phone for a moment, seeming to be thinking about something.

'Hey,' she says to me. I look up from my notebook. 'Yeah?'

'How would you like to try mochi for the first time?'

I blink in surprise. 'Mochi?'

'Yeah, I think you'll really like it!' Aiko smiles.

'I'd love to try it!' I beam. We stand up and head out of the airport.

We find a mochi cafe around 5 to 10 minutes away from the airport and go inside.

Inside are rows and rows of Dango and single mochi.

In the end, Aiko and I get a plate of mochi to share with each other. I have the honeycomb mochi, Aiko has the green tea mochi and we share the chocolate and strawberry mochi.

After that, we take a train to Aiko's city and reach her house.

'Do you want to see your new room?' Aiko smiles.

'Oh, yeah, of course!' I exclaim, rushing inside.

I drop my bags at my bedroom door and then look around my new room.

'What do you think?' Aiko smiles.

'I love it!!'

'I'm glad,' She beams.  'Now, I believe it's your first day at UA next week?'

A/N: Sorry if this chapter was boring or too short lol. As I said, I had no idea how to start it XD

Also, Aiko is another OC of mine. In the story, only I was able to go to Japan because my family had work and school and stuff back home, so Aiko became my guardian (my OC's only, of course). Her quirk is Hair, so basically, she can change the length and colour of her hair to use to her advantage. By default, she wears her hair in either a long ponytail or French braid down to her waist, usually coloured dark brown-black. Anyway, she is 26 years old and very fun-loving.
