BUT WAIT! We have a NEW Game for y'all!
CALLING ALL HARRY POTTER FANS!! YOU HAVE BEEN SUMMONED!
This game, if you couldn't tell from the title, is a sorting hat game!! I haven't seen any KOTLC sorting into houses on youtube, so I decided to do it here! How this is gonna work is that I will list a character and in the side box next to them, you will comment which house you think they should be in and why! I will be showcasing some comments that agree with and disagree with in a Future Chapter!!!
So... let the sorting begin!!!
Foster, Sophie!
Sophie nervously stepped up to the sorting hat, and sat on the stool in front of it. Her heart was pounding nervously as she stared down at the other first years watching her. Why oh why did she have to be first? She saw Fitz looking at her nervously. She knew that he wanted both of them to be sorted into Gryffindor together, but she wasn't sure. She broke her gaze from Fitz and stole a glance at Keefe, who flashed her a smirk and a thumbs up. She felt Minerva McGonagall place the hat on her head and she winced as its loud voice filled her thoughts.
Let's see.... hmmmm... you are a tricky one Ms. Foster. Brave, yes you are... yet loyal to your friends... but in a very strange way. Which house would you like to be in?
"Gryffindor, gryffindor," Sophie thought desperately, thinking of Fitz's wish.
The Sorting Hat's thoughts filled her head again."You cannot just choose a house based on a boy!" it muttered. "Are you sure you are a witch? I can't seem to find a place for you..."
"Please, please, please..." Sophie thought, fingers crossed.
"Well then, it better be...." (COMMENT HERE! WHAT DO YOU THINK?)
Vacker, Fitzroy!
Fitz winced at his real name, and soft snickers filled the first years. "Fitzroy..." he heard some of them mutter with amusement and he turned to face them with a glare. Their snickering stopped and they stared at him with poker faces.
Fitz strode up to the hat, chest forward, head back, standing tall, showing off his good posture. He was a Gryffindor, he already knew he was. Just like his mother and father. Brave, chivalrous, that was him! But still, he felt the impeding nervousness that any first year felt approaching the hat. As he reached the stool he shook of the jitters and sat firmly on the stool, head raised, staring down at the others. He felt the worn hat tuck down onto his ears, and even though he was prepared, he flinched at the hats' voice.
"Hmmmmmm let's see. Fitz Vacker, our Golden Boy. It should be easy, placing you in a house. After all, your entire family were Gryffindors before you and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, but is it truly right? Maybe you take after your brother... the Slytherin Rebel......"
"NO," Fitz thought determinedly. "I'm better than him. I'm the Golden Boy! I'm a Gryffindor, I'll prove it too you! I was one of the earliest to manifest, I get the best grades, and I am the son of the Vackers! I come from a powerful, pure family, I'm a Gryffindor!"
"Are you sure?" The hat's voice said. "I can see it, all in your head. I can see your wants, your fears, your wishes...."
"Better be....." (COMMENT HERE FOR FITZ'S HOUSE AND WHY!)
Vacker, Biana!
Biana stood up and walked to the chair elegantly, tossing her hair, adjusting her black tie on her black robes as she did. Black on black... Biana shuddered thinking about the terrible color clash and stared down at the mangy hat on the stool. She would never wear anything like that, and would be embarrassed the whole time, even if it was just a temporary accessory. Now, if she was the one that would pick the Sorting Hat, she would have picked a nice midnight blue pointed one, with silver stars on the brim. She glanced at her brother Fitz, who had already been sorted and was just sitting down at his new house table, house tie on his robes. Good. The black robes needed some color to spruce it up.
As she sat on the stool, she suddenly remembered her father's words, pushed her shoulders back, and sat down on the chair coolly, examining her nails, as if she wasn't nervous, and wasn't about to have a panic attack as she felt the rough fabric on her hair. No, she was not wondering about how she would look with hat hair, especially in front of Keefe Sencen...
The hat was placed on her head and the voices of the others were drowned out by the Sorting Hat's. She could just barely see the house colors of the houses on the banners, hmm, blue would look nice against black...was it bad she wanted to be a Ravenclaw just because of that gorgeous royal blue color?
"Yes, that is bad," the hat snapped sourly, and Biana jerked forward, forgetting it had been there. "We do not pick houses due to fashion choices," it said. "What's next, saying you don't want to be a Hufflepuff because of the yellow?"
"Well, it would clash a lot, I mean the yellow is literally so bright it's neon-like! I would look like a bee, let's all be honest here..."
"I've about had enough of you!" the Sorting Hat mumbled. "I have half a mind to not sort you!"
"No, please not that, I'm sorry!" Biana quickly thought.
The Sorting Hat went quiet for a moment, and then cleared its throat. "Well then...it better be...." (COMMENT HERE FOR BIANA'S HOUSE AND WHY!)
Dizznee, Dexter!
"It's Dex," Dex mumbled under his breath to nobody in particular. Nobody was watching him as he walked up to the hat. Nobody was really paying attention to him, not like they had during the Vacker's sorting. Most people were talking to each other, pointing at the houses they wanted to be sorted into, or murmuring to each other about all sorts of things, from chocolate frog cards to class schedules to favorite professors, to the best hiding places from Ms. Norris, the cat. 'How did it seem like everyone had friends already?' Dex thought as he walked up to the stool. 'Why is it so easy for everyone else, but not me? ' He had spent the train ride over in the corner a compartment that had a beautiful blond girl with giant green eyes and a dark haired girl with bug-like brown eyes talking eagerly to each other, not saying a word. The hat was placed on his head, and the hat's thoughts swarmed his head.
"Now," the hat said. "What house would you like to be sorted into?"
"Great," Dex thought. "Even the hat takes pity on me."
The hat denied it, ferociously muttering that with his sort of attitude he might be a good Slytherin. Dex waited for it to calm down, knowing that it was impossible to reason with it while it was like this. Soon, the hat's mutters had stopped and he redirected his question to Dex.
"I don't know," Dex replied truthfully. "My parents don't really care. My Mom was a witch, but my Dad's a muggle. They are already happy enough that I'm a wizard, they don't really care about which house I'm in. Mom was a Gryffindor herself, but I don't really know about Gryffindor. I... don't think I'd fit in with bold, brave people. And I don't want to be in Hufflepuff because everyone would mock me more than they do already. And I don't know about Ravenclaw, I guess its okay, but then again, what if I'm not smart enough? And in Slytherin, I wouldn't fit in either, like, I don't think I have enough talent..."
The hat was a bit perplexed and stared down at the young boy, who seemed to have no trouble insulting himself. The hat wondered what happened to the boy to make him so self-deprecating.
"Well," the hat said after a while. "I can tell that no matter what house you are put in, you will do great things. You have a spark that a lot of students don't have, trust me on that." The hat felt the boy brighten up a little inside. "Well, it better be...." (COMMENT DEX'S HOUSE AND WHY!)
Ok, writing these took forever! Like seriously, you can't imagine how long it took. Well, I hope you enjoyed this game! I'll have the next half up soon!
