Chapter 12: Happiness and Memories Returned (Lucy's POV)

A few days later

My body feels warm and I feel a rattling. I open my eyes and yawn. The warmth on my back happens to be Natsu and I happen to be sitting on his lap. "Natsu the egg!" I exclaim as the egg shakes again. His eyes snap open.

"What?"

"The egg!"

"What about the egg?"

"It's hatching!"

Natsu jumps up and drags me to the guild. "It's hatching!" he shouts and puts the egg on the table. Suddenly the egg breaks open and a cat comes out. "Woah a freaking cat!" Wakaba and Macao say together. The cat then starts to float up in the air and turns into...a baby dragon?

She starts to shoot stars out of its mouth then turns back to a cat. Everyone is left shocked. Woah, my cat can shoot stars out of its mouth!" I shout and the cat lands on my head. "Star cat!" Natsu shouts and I start playing with the paws of the cat. The cat mews and the guild "aww's" at it.

"What are you going to name it?" Wendy asks. I think for a moment "Well it is a cat that can turn into a baby celestial dragon so how about Celestia and Cel for short." I say. Cel mews happily and I smile. "Cel the dragon! Cel the dragon!" I yell repeatedly. Reedus starts painting a picture of us just like the one when Natsu was a kid

The rest of the day Happy tries to speak to Cel, Juvia chases Grey, Natsu angers Erza, and I take a look at the painting Reedus painted. I notice that he drew one person who was not even in the guild hall. I hold Cel and start to cry. "Natsu stops fighting Erza and they both walk over to me. "Lucy what is wrong?" Erza says and I point to the man in the painting with us, Erza clenched her fist and looks down.

"Reedus...thank you for adding him to the painting," I say and the rest of the guild walks over to see the painting. I then take it and hang it above the bar so everyone can see.

"We won't forget him..." I trail off. "Because he is our master." Erza finishes. I look again at the master's face, peeking out from the crowd. With booze in hand and a cheerful grin. Cel lands on my shoulder and the guild looks up a little...until Cel turns into a dragon again.

"Cel you've got to stop that! I can't handle all this weight on my shoulder. Not like Natsu is any lighter, though." I mutter the last part. "No," Cel says. Natsu looks at me angrily. "Hey, I'm not that heavy!" Natsu shouts while the other dragon slayers start laughing.

Cel flies around the room shooting stars. I take some from her and turn it into liquid stardust and drink it. "Cel this tastes amazing," I say. Cel nods her head and continues to fly around the room. "Lucy, can I try some?" Natsu asks. I shake my head. Remember the last time you ate another element?" I say and shivers go up his back. "But if you insist," I say and our some in his hand.

"Ready for agonizing pain?" I say and surprisingly he drinks it. "Wow, this stuff does taste good. Well, not as good as fire." She says and continues to slurp the contents out of his hand. Suddenly he falls onto the floor right next to the door clutching his stomach. I shake my head as the door to the now finished guild hall opens, hitting Natsu on the head. A short man walks in holding a staff and has white hair.

"I knew you kids wouldn't give up." The voice grumbles. I start crying again and run up to the man. The rest of the guild follows. "Master your back!"
