Luke's point of view

After our Dad left Christina said, "You should probably get some sleep little brother, I'm guessing you had an eventful day"

"That's an understatement." I grumbled.

she laughed and said "The first day usually is, if you're lucky things calm down a bit after that."

I obviously wasn't lucky. I got changed and went to bed, but not long after I fell asleep I dreamed.

I couldn't tell where I was the place was too dark but I heard voices.

the first voice said "Are our forces nearly ready to attack?"

at the same time three voices said "Yes my lord."

The first voice said "very well you march in two days, those foolish Olympians won't know what hit them when we wipe out their precious heroes."

After that statement I woke with a start, wide awake now I rushed out of the cabin still in my pajamas and ran to the big house.

I burst through the door and shouted "Chiron!"

I heard him coming, and when he came into view I couldn't help but notice that he had curlers in his tail.

He said "What is it my boy?"

I was so freaked out I couldn't talk in complete sentences I said "dream... Bad...attack"

I somehow managed to calm down and then I explained my dream.

Chiron paled and said, "Go back to your cabin and try and get some more sleep. I will contact the gods in the morning and we can have a war council."

I did as he asked even though I didn't think I would be able to fall back to sleep.

I was still wide awake when Christina woke up in the morning. We got ready and then went to breakfast we sacrificed some of our food to Dad and then went back to our table. During breakfast I noticed a girl around my age with wavy black hair and light brown eyes staring at me from the Hermes table. When I looked at her she blushed and looked away.

Partway through breakfast Chiron announced the war council. Everyone started talking and muttering confused about why there would even be a war council when as far as they knew there wasn't a war going on.

Christina said "War council but we aren't even in a war."

I answered "Sorry Sis but we will be."

"How do you know?" she asked me.

I simply said "Dream." and she nodded understanding.

We headed to the big house where we all sat around the ping pong table in the rec room which seemed weird to me since that seemed like an odd place to have a serious conversation.

On the way in the head councillor for the Ares cabin asked me "What are you doing here kid? You're not a head councillor."

I couldn't decide how to answer but Chiron saved me he said "He is here because he brought the issue we will be discussing to my attention; Luke here had a dream that showed people discussing an attack on the camps."

At those words the room was in chaos.

One girl with black wavy hair and electric blue eyes said "Who is it this time?"

everyone was talking

Malcolm said "It can't be Gaea."

Chiron was struggling to get everyone to quiet down when he finally managed to get everyone quieted down he said

"We don't know who it is. all we know is that they were discussing an attack on the camps and that they would be making their way here in two days."

"Where are they now?" someone asked.

"We don't know." Chiron admitted

"How large are their forces?" Malcolm asked.

"We don't know that either." Chiron said.

"not much to go on." The head councillor for Hephaestus pointed out.

"Thanks captain obvious." the head councillor for Nemesis said.

In the end it was decided that in the time we had we would train harder than usual, and the veteran campers would help teach the younger campers."

Percy's point of view

When I got up in the morning I was getting ready when and iris message suddenly appeared In front of me, it was Chiron and judging by the look on his face whatever he needed to tell me it wasn't good.

I said "What happened?"

he said "Your son..."

before he finished his statement I must have paled because he quickly amended his statement.

He said "he's fine, but he had a dream that worries me."

I said "Oh?"

Then Chiron explained how Luke had come to him in the middle of the night and told him of the dream he had where people who he couldn't identify were discussing an attack on the camps. I wasn't entirely surprised by this, when monster activity had increased I had begun to wonder if another war was coming. This just confirmed it. Although I had hoped the war would hold off for a while longer. As usual my luck didn't hold.

I said "I'll call a council meeting, and I'll let you know what we decide."

Then I swiped my hand through the message.

I quickly went to the throne room and summoned the council. When everyone arrived Zeus asked "Why did you call this meeting nephew?"

I replied"I called this meeting because I received urgent information from Chiron related to the camps."

"What is this information?" Athena asked

"He was getting there owl head." my dad said.

I stifled a laugh at their ways. Athena and I might have made our peace, but Athena's rivalry with my dad hadn't lessened any.

After Athena glared at my dad I continued speaking "I was informed by Chiron that one of the demigods had a dream that showed them a group of our enemies that they couldn't identify discussing an attack on the camps."

  I didn't tell them that it had been my son that had the dream since most of them didn't even know I had a son. Somehow I had managed to keep that a secret for this long.

"The dream could be false" Hermes pointed out.

I replied "would you be willing to take that risk, leaving the camps unprepared and then have them possibly be destroyed?"Hermes was smart enough not to respond.

I continued "I believe it is best that we assume this dream is true and act accordingly."

Zeus took over from here, he said "Artemis, send your hunters to Camp half blood, they may need their assistance in the battle."

Artemis nodded but I am pretty sure she wasn't happy about it.

Zeus continued "Apollo you will go to the camp and help Chiron teach Archery. Perseus, you will go to camp half blood and take over training the heroes in swordsmanship. Hermes you will go inform the romans of the situation and tell them to prepare."  

After all that was sorted out Zeus dismissed the meeting and we all went our separate ways. Apollo and I teleported to camp half-blood we walked through the camp and found everyone in the dining pavilion having lunch. When they saw us the demigods stood and bowed. We explained why we were there and after the campers finished eating they began to disperse and go off to their various activities.

One demigod however approached us. When he was close enough he bowed to Apollo, but then he turned to me.

He ran over to me, hugged me and said "Dad."

I hugged him back, smiling at him. I was pleased that he had forgiven me so quickly; it usually takes a demigod longer than that to accept that their godly parent couldn't help them before they got to camp even if they wanted to.

After Luke left to go to his next activity, Apollo turned to me and raised an eyebrow. I knew that he was looking for answers about Luke, and I couldn't help but blush slightly. Since Apollo had seen Luke I figured I might as well just spit it out. I told him like's full name which made his eyebrows go so high that they nearly merged with his hair. I admitted that I had only told a few people about him, and that he had only gotten to camp yesterday. Out of nowhere Hermes appeared, he and Apollo talked for a moment and then Apollo shoved his hand toward Hermes. I was confused for a moment until Hermes placed some drachmas into Apollo's hand.

 I said "did you two seriously bet on whether I would end up having a kid with Amber?"

 after I finished that statement I wanted to slap myself because I had never told anyone Amber's name, now the two Olympians that spread the most gossip next to Aphrodite knew her name. Now everyone would know.
