Oh no! Here Comes The One-Eyed Creature!

--

Harry got up feeling tired from last night's activities. Glancing around, he groggily got up from bed.  He wondered what that monster was—and how Percy seemed like he had met it before. Not to mention the fact that his pen had a sword inside of it!

He had never seen magic like that, and he lived in a Magic school.

He went into the common room only to find Hermione reading a book, more specifically Hogwarts: A History.

Harry sighed. He knew Hermione would keep reading it over and over again. He never knew how she got the appeal from reading something over and over again.

Hermione turned around, 'Oh Harry, I didn't notice you. Where's Ron?' She didn't need Harry's answer. She already knew by looking at his face.'I'll go get him.'

She stomped up the stairs, with her book looking quite threatening in the morning. Harry made his way into the Great Hall, sitting in his usual seat.

He saw Percy sitting on the other side of the Great Hall, talking with his friends. As far as he was concerned, Percy was a friend. He helped them fight the weird monster in the Forbidden Forest. He didn't care if anyone said otherwise.

Although he would be lying if he wasn't slightly confused as to how Percy could use a sword so effectively. That raised some alarm bells in Harry's head. Wizards and witches didn't really use swords; wands were much more easier to carry and more convenient.

He was sure Percy wasn't a normal wizard, but was happy enough not to question yet, unless it posed a danger to his friends.

He was snapped from his thoughts as he heard bickering. It's probably Ron and Hermione.

Ron slid down next to Harry, while Hermione sat down on the other side.

'You didn't have to spray water all over me!' Ron exclaimed.

'Well, it's not like you would wake up any other way,' Hermione shot back in an equal tone.

'That's enough guys,' Harry said, trying to break up the argument. Ron and Hermione both quietened down. With his luck, they would probably continue arguing after a few minutes.

How they all became friends, Harry had no idea. Ginny slid next to Ron.

The day went on like any other day would, going to classes, taking breaks. Harry was glad for the little bit of peace in his very messed up life.

He walked down the ever confusing halls of Hogwarts. Luckily, he was well-versed with this maze of a school and couldn't get lost. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a giant shadow slinking down the hall behind him.

He whirled around and pointed his wand at the position the shadow last was. It looked thin and limber, like a cat. At the moment, Ron and Hermione weren't with him, but in the common room doing Homework.

He advanced forward slowly. Whoever was there, he didn't want to let them know he was here. His fingers twitched—ready to shoot a spell at the slightest provocation.

He turned the corner and was greeted by nothing. Fear and tension engulfed the air so thick that it was nearly tangible. It was a dead end. Nothing was there.

As Harry walked back to his dorm, something roared and slammed into him. Harry crashed to the floor as a one-eyed thing roared at him, its yellow teeth flashing.

'STUPEFY!' The beast was knocked backwards as it smashed into the dead end where Harry previously was.

Harry stood back up, adrenalin rushing through his veins. The beast emerged from the massive hole in the wall and roared. It swung its fist with astounding speed.

Harry hurtled through the air, colliding with the walls. He staggered back up. He winced and felt a stabbing sensation in his chest.

As the beast lumbered forward, Harry had an amazing idea. He quickly dived behind a plant as the monster stomped towards him. He roared and looked around, snorting as he did so.

The beast had one-eye, and wouldn't be able to track him that well. Harry knew he might have a sense of smell, so he had only once chance at this.

He whirled around and pointed his wand threateningly at the monster. The beast saw him and bellowed.

Just as the beast swung his open palms forward, ready to catch Harry, He flicked his wand upwards and screamed, 'EXPELLIARMUS!'

Unfortunately the beast made the mistake of getting too close as the green light entered his nostril. The monster started coughing.

Harry wondered what he did when all of a sudden the head of the beast messily exploded into fleshy bits. Harry nimbly avoided most of the volley, but some bits smacked into him and clung on his robes.

'Ugh—This is so disgusting!' Harry exclaimed. He was confused as to how an expelliarmus exploded the beast's head. He thought it was a bit too extreme, but was nonetheless happy he didn't become monster lunch.

*

'You exploded it?' I asked, not believing Harry. But then again, seeing the yucky fleshy bits on him, I was entitled to believe him.

'Yeah, it was really weird. The spell went into his nostril and he started coughing,' Harry replied.

'Bloody hell Harry! Remind me next time to take you monster hunting with me!'

'It may be because the spell went straight into his olfactory nerve which was maybe then somehow transmitted to its brain.

'I understood all of that but what's an olfactory nerve?'

Hermione sighed. 'It doesn't matter right now. The thing is that the spell travelled straight to his brain. He started coughing probably because the spell was inside his nose at the time.

'When did you become a Doctor?'

'I just read medical books.'

'Okay that's enough guys,' Harry said, knowing a fight might break out between the two couples. 'We need to find out where these things are coming from.'

I nodded his head. How would I keep his Demigod secret—well—a secret? Monsters are running around in the castle like nobody's business. Sooner or later my secret would be revealed.

He didn't know how the wizards would react. Hopefully nicely, because he sure didn't like the image of a wand being pointed towards him threateningly.

A/N(IMPORTANT)

So there! The gang will figure out who is behind this influx of monsters.

Sorry for the late update. Oh and also, Harry's POV will be 3rd person, while Percy's will be first person. It might be a little messed up, but it's easier for me to write this way.

Thanks!
