A/N: I want to answer some questions I got in my PMs and questions in the comment section.

Q1: Why wasn't Rouge in the battle with both Eggmans?

A1: The reason why Rouge wasn't with the group when they faced both Eggmans is because she is currently eight months pregnant with her and Knuckles' first child. 

Q2: Will there be any characters or will any events from the IDW or Archie comics occur in the story?

A2: After reading some comments and questions in my PMs I have decided I will not be including any characters or events from the IDW comics, however, I might include some characters from the Archie comics. However, I can't promise that any events from the Archie comics will happen in the story. 

Q3: Will any of Sonic's siblings or parents appear in the story?

A3: Sonia and Manic will be appearing in the story at a later date.  Regarding Sonic's parents, Sonic's father Jules will be appearing, however, Sonic's mother Bernadette may or may not appear in the story as I haven't decided yet. 

As the rest of her sisters were bombarding Lincoln with questions, Lori was sitting on the bottom stair in the basement thinking about how her parents would react to seeing Lincoln. The outcome that seems most likely is her father passing out at the sight of Lincoln. Other possibilities did come to her but they didn't seem realistic. Lori's train of thought was interrupted when she heard the front door open. Wanting to get this over with, Lori heads upstairs while her sisters keep asking Lincoln questions. 

Rita: So how was everything, Lori?

Lori(nervous smile): It was... interesting. 

Rita and Lynn Sr gave each other a confused look. 

Lynn Sr(confused): Did something happen with one of the girls?

Lori: No, everyone was fined, however, it would be easier if I showed you. 

Lori leads her parents to the basement much to their shock at seeing a creature standing on two legs and talking to their daughters. However, both parents had different reactions upon seeing the creature. Rita's reaction was a mixture of shock at seeing the creature and confusion about how the creature got into the house. While Lynn Sr reaction was to let out a loud, high-pitched, girlish scream and then faint. Causing the creature and the rest of the sisters to see their dad/man of the house on the floor unconscious.

Lori(in her mind): Called it.

<A moment later>

Lynn Sr(rubbing his head): Oh honey I had this weird dream that there was this creature in the basement and all of our daughters were talking to it and 

Lynn Sr regained his bearings, his eyes widening at the sight of the creature proving it was all real. Lynn Sr let out another high pitch-girlish scream and then fainted again—the creature winced in pain due to how loud the man was screaming. A few minutes later the father regains consciousness and is about to scream again but the creature puts his hand against the man's mouth. 

Creature(slight glare): It hasn't been five minutes and I already have a terrible first impression of you. Due to your high pitch, screams hurt my ears as I have sensitive hearing. However, I will give you another chance, I will remove my hand if you promise not to scream. 

Lynn Sr nods his head.

Creature: Good.

The creature removes his hand from the father's mouth. 

Rita: Uh... Lisa mind explaining what's this.. rat is doing in our house?

Creature(growls slightly/clenches his fists): I'm a hedgehog for your information lady.

Lisa: This creature as you put it is actually an anthropomorphic hedgehog, who comes from another universe. 

Rita(in slight disbelief): That's impossible other universes don't exist.

Lisa: That's what most of the scientific community thinks, however, I strongly believe in the multiverse theory and Lincoln here is living proof that the multiverse is real. 

Rita(confused): Can you explain what happened when your father and I were gone?

Lisa gave a brief recap of what occurred when Rita and Lynn Sr were gone. To say Rita and Lynn Sr were dumbfounded would be a massive understatement. 

Lynn Sr: So... uh what now?

Lincoln: I don't know but I'm going for a run while your family talks things out.

Lincoln speeds off leaving a blur behind him surprising Rita and Lynn Sr.

Rita: I thought you were joking about him running that fast, Lisa. 

Lisa: Mother, I do not make jokes I leave that for Luan due to her being the residual joker. 

<Meanwhile on Mobius>

It's been a few hours since the incident at Eggman base. Currently, Sonic was running around Mobius trying to put what happened back at Eggman's base behind him. Despite his best efforts, Sonic is unable to put the events behind him. 

Sonic(anger in his voice): I should have done something! Because of my lack of action, Lincoln could be dead!  (his anger turns to sorrow/looking at the sky with tears in his eyes) Lincoln I am so sorry. 

Suddenly Sonic's communicator went off.

Tails: Sonic, I found Lincoln's signal bring Amy and the kids to my lab as soon as possible. 

Sonic: Will do Tails. 

The call ends with Sonic having a bit of hope restored to him. 

A few minutes later Sonic and his family arrived at Tails lab. Upon entering the lab, the family noticed Tails with a hopeful smile on his face. 

Amy(with tears in her eyes): Tails, is it true you found Lincoln's signal?

Tails: I did but it wasn't easy. 

Sonic: What do you mean?

Tails(sighs): While I was able to locate Lincoln's signal (sighs) the signal is faint. 

Amy gasps while tears begin to form, she comforts Ren who also had tears in his eyes. 

Aurora(concern): He's still okay, right?

Tails: According to the reading I got from his signal Lincoln is doing okay. 

This eased some of the concerns Sonic and the others had.

Tails: However, I do have bad news.

Sonic and his family look worried.

Tails: As I stated earlier Lincoln's signal is weak and I could barely find it. I was only able to locate the signal due to one of my machines detecting an anomaly. Additionally, I have no idea what universe Lincoln was sent to by Eggman machine and I highly doubt Eggman computers will be in a decent condition where its memory log will be able to be accessed. Secondly, it will take me at least two to three months just to build a new interdimensional transporter and that going to require a lot of power to operate, so we're going to need the chaos emeralds. Finally, once the interdimensional transporter is finished, it will probably take a week to just locate the universe Lincoln is in. 

Ren(tears still in his eyes): You'll let us know if something happens right, uncle Tails?

Tails(rubs Ren's head): Of course, I will.

Sonic: Thanks Tails, for bringing hope back to us.

Tails: It's the least I can do (looking at Sonic) as a certain hedgehog taught me family helps family. 

Sonic(rubs his nose/slight smirk on his face) What can I say I give amazing advice. 

Tails just chuckles while Aurora just has a really look on her face and Amy just shakes her head. Ren is confused about why his parents, uncle, and older sister are acting like this. 

Sonic: In all seriousness thank you for doing this Tails. 

Tails: As I said before family helps family. If anything occurs you'll be the first to know. 

Amy(grateful): Thanks Tails. (sighs) Please don't overdo it like the last time you pushed yourself. I don't think Cream would be too pleased to find out you overdid it again.

Tails(shutters): Don't remind me, she can be scary when she wants to be. It was even worse when Vanilla got involved and I don't want a repeat of last time.  

Sonic: Yeah we all know how she is when is in her stern mother mode. 

The others nodded their heads as it was pretty much common knowledge among the group that Vanilla could be intimidating when she wanted to be. Even Shadow was intimidated by Vanilla when he injured himself pretty good fighting one of Eggman's mechs.  

< Back with Lincoln>

Lincoln is currently racing around the world while the humans talk about if he should stay with them until he finds a way home. Along the way, Lincoln stopped any crime he came across fortunately due to his speed this went unnoticed by the locals. Lincoln stops to check the time on his communicator and notices twenty minutes have gone by. 

Lincoln: It's been twenty minutes that should be plenty of time. 

Lincoln speeds off again and arrives at his destination in a minute. Lincoln entered the house and noticed the entire family hadn't left the basement.

Lincoln: I'm back. Did you guys discuss things among yourselves? 

Loud Family(startled): Gah!!

Lori(clutching her chest): Lincoln don't do that!

Lucy(clutching her chest): Now I know how you guys feel when I do that.

Lincoln: Sorry. Did you discuss anything while I was gone?

Rita: We discussed some things. We decided you can stay with us as long as you can get back to your world. However, the only condition is that you try to blend in with humans as best as you can and try not to cause trouble to the town. 

Lincoln: You don't need to worry about me causing trouble but how I am supposed to try to blend in with humans?

Rita's eyes widen as she realizes she doesn't know how Lincoln could try to blend in. She knows they can't have Lincoln running around in public as that would draw unnecessary attention. 

Lincoln(folds his arms/frowns): You didn't think this through did you?

Rita(stuttering): I...I... Umm

Lincoln(arms still folded): Thought so. 

Suddenly Lisa interjects. 

Lisa: I believe I might have the solution to this dilemma.

Lincoln(raised eyebrow): How so?

Lisa: With your assistance, I can create a solution to your problem. 

Lincoln didn't say anything however, he was curious about how Lisa could solve this problem.

Lisa: With that over. I can now get to work on creating Lincoln identification.

Lynn: Why do you need to do that?

Lisa: Because Lincoln technically doesn't exist on Earth.

Leni: How can he not exist if he's, like, in front of us?

The Louds just slapped their foreheads.

Lincoln(thoughts): From my observation, she appears to be a kind and sweet girl, however, her lack of intelligence at her age is concerning.

Lisa(pitching her nose): As I stated earlier no country has any information on him and it's up to me to create his information.

Leni: Oh I get it now.

Lisa: Before I head back to my room to create Lincoln government information, I need to co-

Lincoln(cutting off Lisa): Prower

Lisa(confused): I beg your pardon?

Lincoln: Prower. Since you're creating my information I want my last name to be Prower. If someone asks about me just tell them I'm a cousin on your mom's side of the family.

Lisa:(thinking it over) It would work since all males on mother's side of the family are born with white hair. Regarding, your last name any reason why you chose it?

Lincoln: It's the last name of my uncle Tails.

Nodding her head Lisa leaves the basement with Lincoln following her. With Lincoln and Lisa gone the remaining Louds went back to what they were doing before Lincoln's appearance. 

<The next day>

The next day, the Louds awoke to find Lincoln missing causing some to panic and others felt Lincoln had abandoned them. This was quickly proven false when Luna found a letter on the fridge saying he was going for a run, exploring the world, and doing something he didn't mention. (stopping any crime he saw but they didn't need to know that, yet) By the end of the letter, he said he would be back around noon.  

When it was finally noon Lincoln arrived back and noticed the Louds were beginning to take stuff out of a linen closet. Asking why they were taking stuff out, Luan said they were in the process of converting it to a bedroom. Peaking inside Lincoln had to admit it was a spacious closet. Lincoln decides to help out. 

Lincoln(holding a box of clothes): Where do you want this box?

Lynn Sr(inspecting the box): Put that in the attic. Most of this stuff is going in the attic anyway, we've been putting it off for some time but now we have a reason to do it. 

Using his speed and enhanced strength Lincoln easily moves the remaining boxes out of the closet and into the attic. Throughout the rest of the day, Lincoln helped the Louds do stuff around the house and bonded with the Louds. He formed close bonds with Rita, Luna, Luan, Leni, Lucy, Lana, and Lily. He formed friendly relations with Lori, Lynn Jr, Lisa, and Lynn Sr. The only Loud, Lincoln isn't able to form a connection with is Lola who doesn't want anything to do with him. Stating she doesn't want a rat living with them and shedding his furs and quills all over the house. 

Lincoln(trying to keep his anger in check): First, I'm not a rat, I'm a hedgehog big difference between us. Second, I don't shed. I trim my fur when it gets too long and I already have my adult quills. 

Lola rolls her eyes and goes back to her room.

Lincoln(looking at the Louds): Is she always like this?

Loud Family(minus Lola/Lily): Unfortunately.

Rita: She's been like that since she was born. She likes to be proper and clean.

When nighttime arrived Lincoln went for an evening run. By two o'clock in the morning, Lincoln arrived back and carefully opened the door not to wake anyone. Making sure he didn't hear anyone leave their bedrooms he walked towards the sofa and lay down and fell asleep. 

<The Next Day>

The following day, Rita and Lynn Sr went shopping for furniture for the closet. They bought a queen-sized bed, a dresser, and a small nightstand. Before returning to their house they stop by Royal Woods Middle School to enroll Lincoln. Which he doesn't know about. Rita enters and walks towards the principal office. She knocks on the principal door and enters when she hears come in. 

Principal Ramirez(looks up from her computer): Ms. Loud, what can I do for you day?

Rita: Hi, Principal Ramirez I would like to enroll my nephew today.

Principal Ramirez: Nephew? I didn't know you had a nephew.

Rita: He's the son of my brother. He's staying with us until his parents come pick him up. 

Principal Ramirez(nodding her head): How old is your nephew?

Rita: Thirteen years old. The same age as junior. 

Principal Ramirez: Speaking of Lynn junior we're going to need to have another parent-teacher meeting.

Rita(pinching her nose): What did Junior do this time?

Principal Ramirez: Her coaches are concerned about the rituals she does before every game. We have gotten emails and phone calls from the parents of her teammates. Some of the parents are threatening to take legal action if Lynn continues to enforce her rituals on her teammates. 

 Rita: Thank you for informing me of this. Me and her father will talk to her about this.

Principal Ramirez: Now getting back to your nephew let me see what classes I can put him into.

Principal Ramirez enters information into the computer.

Principal Ramirez: I have good news and bad news.

Rita: What's the bad news?

Principal Ramirez: The bad news is due to it being so late in the school year all of the main subject classes are full and some of the elective courses are full as well. However, the good news is there are two classes I can put your nephew in.

Rita: What are the two classes?

Principal Ramirez: The first is gym class with Coach Keck and the second is glee club with Mr. Budden. 

Rita: Their something else your not telling me.

Principal Ramirez(sighs): As I stated earlier due to your nephew enrolling so late into the school year those two classes are all we have left. I'll still enroll your nephew he will be forced to enter the Late Enrollment Program. 

Rita(confused): Late enrollment program?

Principal Ramirez: The late enrollment program or L.E.P for short, is just what it sounds like. The program is designed to help students who enroll late into the school year. The student takes one or two classes this year and takes their remaining courses in the fall semester before taking their new courses in the spring semester. 

Rita: I never knew the program existed. 

Principal Ramirez(shrugs her shoulders): Most parents don't know about it as it was just introduced by the superintendent recently. Anyway, what class would you like to enroll your nephew in?

Rita(thinking it over): Let's go with gym class.

Principal Ramirez enters the information into her computer.

Principal Ramirez: OK, before we're all done what is your nephew's name?

Rita: Lincoln Prower.

Principal Ramirez: How do you spell his last name?

Rita: P-r-o-w-e-r

Principal Ramirez thanks Rita as she enters the last of the information into her computer. 

Principal Ramirez: OK, your nephew Lincoln will be starting next Tuesday with gym class as his fifth period. I'll inform Coach Keck about this.

Rita: Thank you so much, Principal Ramirez. 

Principal Ramirez: It was my pleasure, Ms. Loud.

Rita exits Principal Ramirez's office and makes her way toward Vanzilla.

Lynn Sr(watches Rita enter Vanzilla): So, honey how was it?

Rita: It went well Lincoln is enrolled and is taking fifth-period gym class. (stern voice) They're going to be another parent-teacher meeting regarding Junior.

Lynn Sr(sighs): What did she do this time? 

Rita: According to Principal Ramirez, the coaches are concerned about the rituals she does before every game. Plus, she has received emails and phone calls from the parents of her teammates. Some of the parents are threatening to take legal action if Lynn continues to enforce her rituals on her teammates.

Lynn Sr pulls off the road.

Lynn Sr: We need to get Junior to stop those rituals as this family cannot afford any lawsuits. 

Rita: I agree, especially since Lincoln is living with us. 

Lynn Sr: When we get back we need to have a stern talking with Junior. 

Rita: I agree.

The Loud parents get back on the road and drive towards their house. 

<Meanwhile>

At a laboratory at an unknown location. An unknown man is seen walking through his lab with various robots attending to their tasks. The unknown man walks to a section of his lab with very few robots in this part of the lab. He stares at an image of an older man with a somber look on his face before a sinister grin forms.

Unknown man: Very soon it will be time for my invasion of the world and get my revenge on those who wronged my grandfather. 

The unknown man begins to laugh maniacally.

<With Lincoln>

Lincoln was currently lying on a field of grass resting when he suddenly felt a feeling of dread wash over him. 

 Lincoln: Why do I suddenly feel like something bad is going to happen soon?

Author Note: Chapter two is finally finished! Next chapter, Lincoln's human appearance will be revealed, Lincoln gives some background information about Mobius and Eggman, and his first day of middle school. Parents: Sonic and Amy

Siblings: Aurora and Ren

Likes: Hanging out with his friends, playing video games, listening to pop music, eating pizza, getting on Eggman's nerves, singing by himself, singing with his family, dancing with his family, and relaxing. 

Dislikes: Bullies, those who mess with his family, being called a rat, being called slow, someone taking too long, doing homework, and listening to rap music.

Weapon: Piko-sword( Lincoln only uses this when the situation calls for it.)

Normal abilities: Spin dash, homing shot, light speed dash, unseen fists(OC ability), boost, air boost, light dash, cyloop, quick cyloop, cyloop tornado (OC ability), phantom rush, grand slam, wild rush, spin slash, cross slash, vibrate through solid objects, homing shot and sonic boom. (Sonic Frontiers version)

Chaos abilities: Chaos control, chaos blast, chaos spear, chaos boost, chaos burst, chaos snap, chaos lance, and chaos upper.

Skill: Swordsmanship. When using his piko-sword Lincoln's skills are not to scoff at.  Due to his skills, he has won every major swordsmen tournament and beat numerous skilled swordsmen twice his age.
