Bert was currently walking through the part of the cave he with through with Cubone, who was helping him look around and digging with his bone trying to find Moonstones.

"Cubone."

"What's up, Cubone? Did you find anything?" Bert asked as he paused in his digging.

"Cubone," Cubone said, lifting a brownstone with a dome-looking bump on it. Bert narrowed his eyes and looked at the stone.

"I believe that might be a fossil, not what we're looking for, but father might be interested. I'm going to give him a quick call," Bert said, taking off his bag and grabbing the laptop to call his father real quick.

"Cubone," Cubone said, continuing to dig the dirt for moonstones.

While Cubone was doing that, Bert video called his father after a few minutes; his father appeared on the screen with his persain next to him.

"What is it, son?" Giovanni asked.

"I was just calling you to let you know that I found something you might be interested in," Bert said, holding up the fossil.

"A dome fossil if you found that you must be in Mt.Moon then," Giovanni said.

"Yes, I, Jessie, James, and Meowth came here looking for Moonstones."

"Excellent, that will come in handy when Archer gathers all the needed data for the scientists to create their own version of fossil restoring machine," Giovanni said. "Tell the other three to look for fossils as well, and Domino will meet up with you to retrieve them tomorrow."

"Got it. I make sure to tell them."

"Good, I'm counting on you not to mess up. You four are slacking currently; you only sent a beedrill. You were more accomplished at the beginning of your missions to be the one seen most on wanted posters."

"Don't worry; we up are game with coming up with better throughout plans. I have been working on getting them to think their ideas through before doing it."

"Well then, I'm hoping for an excellent report from Domino when she returns with the fossils after tomorrow."

Bert nodded before ending the call and putting away his laptop, and looking at Cubone. "Alright, Cubone, let's go back and find the others. There doesn't seem to be any moonstones around here," He said, putting his bag back on his pack.

"Cubone."

Bert and Cubone then headed back to where he last left Jessie, James, and Meowth.

"Hey Bert, did you find anything?" James asked as he noticed Bert and Cubone heading towards him and the other two.

"Look what Cubone found," Bert said, showing them the dome fossil.

"Wow, a fossil," Jessie said, impressed.

"Those are hard to find Cubone, sure got lucky finding that," Meowth said.

"Yeah, I show it to father, and now he wants us to look for more, and tomorrow, Domino will be meeting up with us to collect what we found," Bert said. "We shouldn't have any problems with the kids since it takes some time to reach Mt. Moon the path here was quite long."

"He right. We should be able to find the fossils and then continue searching for moonstones afterward," Meowth said.

"Okay, then everyone will try a different section, and then we meet here after a couple of to show our findings, then call it a night," Jessie said.

"Sounds like a plan," The three males said.

Everyone then split up and searched the cave for more fossils to give to the boss.

After a good 40 minutes of looking, Bert,  Jessie, and James got back together and saw they ended up just finding two dome fossils. The one Cubone found, and the one James came back with.

"Just two Dome fossils, maybe Meowth found something and is on his way back," Bert said.

"Hopefully, because I doubt the boss would be happy with just two fossils that are the same," Jessie stated.

"Agree," James said.

"Yeah, though, he probably is happy to see we can accomplish more than just catching a Beedrill," Bert sated, opening his bag and pulling out some ingredients to make sandwiches for dinner.

"You bet he will be after my finding," Meowth said, showing up with a rare and more difficult fossil to find an old Amber.

"Well, to ho Meowth, that a pretty hard one to fine!" Bert said, looking up from the sandwiches he was making.

"Yeah, guess I chose a good section of the cave," Meowth said, adding the fossil to the collection.

"After we eat, I might go and look for more," Bert said, handing everyone a plate of sandwiches after giving all the pokemon dinner as well. "You three and go ahead and sleep."

"Why stay up later to search? We can search as well if you think we should search some more," James said.

"Right were a team? We should all try looking for more if that is what you think is a good idea," Jessie said.

Meowth nodded in agreement while eating one of his sandwiches.

"No, what we have is fine for now. Domino can just look for more if she thinks what we have is not enough for my father.

The four Team Rocket finished their lunch and set up the sleeping bags going to bed for the night. With Jessie in the middle facing Bert, who was on her right, and James on her left. At the same time, Meowth was next to Bert.

The following day Bert and the others cleared up their sleeping bags and got ready for the day, changing out of their pajamas and back into their white team rocket clothes uniforms while Bert had on a black jacket along with his uniform.

"There you four are," A female voice said.

They turned around to see Domino walking towards them.

"Here, Domino, this what we found," Bert said, showing her the fossil.

"Two Some fossil and one rare old amber fossil," Domino said."We need a better team to search for fossils. You losers might have found one rare fossil, but we need more to accomplish our plans. Well, your mot bad of course, Bert," She said, smiling at Bert.

"Buzz off Domino, I already told you are not my time back when father tried to get me to date you," Bert said, annoyed. "Also, my teammates are losers fossils are hard to find."

"Then maybe you are a loser if you can't see I'm a better girlfriend for you than this red-headed," Domino said, putting the fossil in her bag.

"Oh no, you didn't!" Jessie said, trying to hit Domino as the three males held her back.

"Forget about her. Let's just find the moonstones," Meowth said.

"Whatever losers as if you find any, you just got lucky finding fossils," Domino said, leaving the group of four behind.

"Forget her, you three. Look around here. I search farther back with Cubone and join you again in a few," Bert said.

"Alright then, the three of us we look around here," James said.

Bert and Cubone had been looking around for a couple of hours and hadn't dug up anything.

"Maybe we should have Jessie Clefairy help us. She evolves with a moonstone do maybe she could help find one," Bert said.

"Cubone," Cubone agreed as he continued to help look for moonstones.

"Oh well, let's just keep looking a bit longer, then we meet back up with the others," Bert said, digging in the ground along with Cubone.

After a few more minutes, Bert ended up finding one moonstone.

"Well, I found one. Let us go meet up with the team now," Bert said, putting the moonstone in his bag pocket.

Bert and Cubone, we're currently heading back to where the rest of the team was supposed to be searching for Moonstones when they heard the familiar voice of Meowth.

"Don't be scared of Meowth," Meowth said.

Bert and followed the voice and saw Meowth standing on a rock with a Clefairy in the corner, scared, holding a shiny stone.

"It's Meowth!"

Bert and Cubone then saw the kids Ash, Misty, and two new additions enter the area on the other side.

"Meowth, what are you doing here?"

"Looking for trouble makers like you," Ash replied."So Team Rocket is the one causing the trouble around here. What a surprise."

"We got to stop them before they start any more trouble," Brock said.

"Trouble?" Jessie said.

"Make that double," James said.

"Or be crushed into rubble!" Bert said, joining the duo who were standing on a rock behind Meowth.

"To protect the world from devastation!" Jessie said.

"To unite all peoples within our nation!" James said.

"To make the way for our future foundation!" Bert said.

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

" To extend our reach to the stars above!"

" And to steal pokemon with an iron glove!"

" Jessie!"

" James!"

"Bert!"

" Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"

" Or else you'll take flight!

" Meowth! That's right!"

"They sure show off," A guy wearing a lab coat said.

"Don't you ever get tired of saying the same old thing over and over?" Ash asked.

"You just jealous, boy," Jessie stated.

"Because we won't let you join us," James said.

"I never join up with you!" Ash shouted.

"You put the lights in this cave. It's your fault the Pokemon who live here are so confused!" Brock said.

"That might be, but we're just working," Bert stated.

"Yeah, we want to get our hands-on moonstones so we can power up our Pokemon. That was the plan, but now we're looking for them to sell for money," Meowth said.

"About that, we do have a Pokemon who needs a moonstone to get stronger," Bert said."Anyway, let's just go search somewhere else."

"No, you won't be going anywhere," Ash said.

"You want rock? Take one of these. Then get lost," Brock said.

"Get lost; how rude," Jessie said.

"Let's teach him manner," James said as he Bert and Jessie put down the tools.

"Ekans and Koffing go!" Jessie and James said, sending out their Pokemon.

Bert sighed, not wanting to deal with these kids. "Oh well, there's no stopping them now," He said as Jessie and James started battling the kids until they were sent blasting off out of the cave without Meowth.

"It's time Team Rocket blasted off," James said.

"You may have won this round, but we'll be back," Jessie said.

Bert, James, and Jessie, we're now lying on the ground outside the cave.

"Those twerps," Jessie muttered.

"Forget them. We have at least one," Bert said, showing them the moonstone. "With this, your Clefairy can evolve."

"I guess one better than nothing. Maybe we should just forget them then," James said.

"Jimmy right one better than nothing," Meowth said as he came from behind the trees soaked.

"Well, then I start dinner, and then I probably go train Cubone for a bit before bed."

"Maybe I do the same with Clefairy," Jessie said.

"Good idea maybe with training, we won't blast off again," Meowth agreed.

The rest of the evening after dinner was spent doing some training before going to bed for the night.
