Lexi and I were just cuddled up on the couch watching Criminal Minds on Netflix.

Lexi: What you wanna do today?

Me: Anything you want is fine.

Lexi: Well , I mean , I want more of last night.

I laughed and playfully hit her arm.

Me: Of course you do , freak.

She laughed.

Lexi: So can I get more?

Me: Maybe tonight. That's if you be good today.

She groaned and placed her face in my neck.

Lexi: But I haven't had none in 3 years.

I laughed and playfully hit her stomach.

Me: You had some last night and another round in the early morning. You lucky I was quiet that time.

Lexi: Of course you was quiet , I was putting it too deep and going too fast for any moans to come out your mouth.

She laughed as my face reddened.

Me: Shut the hell up. I swear I hate you at times.

I tempted to get up but she held me back by my waist still laughing.

Lexi: Noo , stay with me. It's cold and you was keeping me warm.

I let out a short laugh.

Me: Whatever. You lucky I'm cold too.

I laid back down and she got ontop of me and between my legs.

Lexi: One day , sooner then later , I'm going to propose to you.

I smiled at her.

Me: Really? Why?

Lexi: You really gotta ask why? 

Me: I wanna know your reasons.

Lexi: I have many reasons.

Me: And I got until the end of the day until I go back into work , so start naming some.

Lexi: Okay one , because I love your short ass , two , becuase you got my kids , three , because you've always been there for me even when you found out I was in the drug game , and four ,  because you've put up with so many of my ex's and so much of my shit.

Me: Awe , all that's true too.

Lexi: I know. 

Me: Is there more?

She nodded.

Lexi: You'll know 4 more in 4 more days.

Me: Why 4.

Lexi: Cause I said so.

I laughed.

Me: Okay , whatever.

Marie came in from her playroom that was downstairs where we were. 

Marie: Daddy.

Lexi: Yes?

She played with her hair with one hand and rubbed her stomach with the other.

Lexi: You hungry?

She nodded with a pout on her face.

Lexi: Okay , let's go out to eat.

Me: Out where?

Lexi: Golden Corral?

Me: Ooh. Sounds good. Okay. 

Since Marie and Lexi was already dressed. Krystal and I were the only ones who needed to be dressed.

Yes , Krystal was going. Guess who was forced to invite her?

Yep , I was. 

Anyways , I pulled on my clothes and shoes and went to the garage with my phone and Marie's baby bag. 

I hit the scanner button to find movement in the cars to find which car Lexi was in. Her ass just had to pick the one all the way at the end. Once I made it to the car , I got in the front seat.

Lexi: Damn , you take forever to get dressed.

Me: I know , I went extra slow just for Krystal.

I looked in the back and faked a smile , but she returned a real one. 

Me: Lex , did you buckle Marie in correctly?

Lexi: Yes I did. 

Me: Are you sure? Did you doub-

She cut me off.

Lexi: Yes I did. I doubled checked , I know how to buckle in a child , okay? No need to worry.

Me: I'm a mother , I'll always worry.

I put my own seat belt on and Lexi started the engine to the Black Hummer H3X and plugged her phone up to the AUX cord and I hit play on Body by Dreezy.

Krystal: So Nicole.

Me: What you want child.

Lexi squeezed my thigh , making me sigh cause I knew she was telling me to be nice.

Me: Yes Krystal.

Krystal: Tell me about yourself.

Me: There's not much to tell. I mean , I'm 20 , I have 2 kids , The future wife of an Marine , which I'm extremely proud of-

Lexi entwined our fingers and kissed my hand , making me smile.

Almost everything she does , makes me smile.

Krystal: How long have you two been together?

Lexi: 4 years. I met her when she was 17.

Krystal: Awe. That is so cute. 

The only thing that could be heard is the music all the way to Golden Corral. She parked and everybody got out. Lex held Marie's hand and walked into Golden Corral with us behind them.

Me: Have you been looking for jobs yet , Krystal?

Krystal: Actually , I have.

Me: Oh really? Find any?

Krystal: I found one. It's being a social worker for the children , family or schools. Which is technically one.

Me: Wow , those are pretty good jobs. Have you decided on which one to be?

Lexi paid for us all and we sat at a booth.

Lexi: You two sit on the same side.

Me: Wait what? No way.

Lexi: Yes way. You two need to get along with one another. So get into the same side of the booth.

I flipped her off and grabbed my baby and walked over to the food. I made our plates and went back to the table. I sat on the side Lexi was sitting on with Marie between us.

Lexi: I coulda sworn I told you to sit on the same side as Krystal.

I began to cut up Marie's food into pieces.

Me: You did. Did I listen? Yep. Did I do as you said? Nope. That was cute though , love.

Lexi: You two are really gonna have to get along.

Me: Why? You said she wasn't gone be living with us for long , so what the point in us getting along?

Krystal: You know what? It's okay , Alexis. We don't have to get along because I will hopefully moving out by this weekend.

Me: Which is in 4 days. Is there any way you can get out faster?

Lexi: Okay. I'm done here.

She climbed on the table and grabbed Marie.

Lexi: You two will find your own way back because I'm sick of your smart remarks , Nicole. Krystal is been nothing but good to you and this is how you act. I thought I loved a mature woman , was I wrong?

She walked out of eye view leaving me and Krystal is shock.

Me: MY CHILD DIDN"T GET TO EAT HER FOOD DUMBASS!

Alot of people turned their heads but I ignored them and began to eat.

Krystal: Soo-

She went quiet for a second.

Krystal: How will we be getting back?

Me: I have no clue right now because I stupidly left my clutch in the hummer like a dumbass. We'll figure something out.

She nodded and began to eat.

Yeah , I know this update sucked , and I'm sorry . I'm having trouble writing for some reason in which I don't know . 

Who thinks Nicole is being petty ?
