It was around eleven and I was just laying in bed. I wasn't sleepy, or sad or anything, I was just laying in bed.

Today I had nothing on my agenda and I didn't have the kids since Alexus wanted to take them out.

There was a knock on my apartment door making me get up. I slipped my feet into my comfortable fuzzy slippers. I dragged myself to the door and opened it. I raised an eyebrow at Scarlett and El that was standing on my doorstep.

Me: I dont remember you guys saying you were coming over.

Scarlett: Yeah well we're here.

I frowned as they walked past me and into my apartment.

El: Get dressed. We're going out.

Me: Noo. I dont wanna. Im kid free today. Lemme enjoy it.

Scarlett: Your also Alexus free.

I frowned.

Me: Could've sworn I said kid free.

We all began laughing.

El: Your relationship is hilarious. Yall clown each other all the time.

Me: She clowns me?

Scarlett: Okay time to get dressed.

I laughed as they pushed me to my room.

Me: Oh come on! I just wanna know!

El: Dress in something that says "Im The Queen Bitch".

I laughed.

Me: Just be lucky I dont roll outta here in nothing.

Scarlett: You do that and we fucking.

We laughed.

Me: Go to hell.

I closed the door and headed into the closet. I began humming to myself as I decided on what to wear.

How could I know what to wear if I dont know where we're going?

I walked out the closet and into the living room where El and Scarlett was sitting and talking to each other.

Scarlett: That's what your wearing? Ew.

El: Did you even shower? Your hair still looks like a raccoons nest.

Scarlett: I wonder if ahe brushed her teeth today.

El: Obviously not if her hair looks like that.

That laughed and I crossed my arms.

Me: Yall can kiss my ass.

El: Happy to. Bend over.

I narrowed my eyes making them laugh even harder.

Me: Anyways, what should I wear? I mean I dont even know where we're going.

Scarlett: Its a surprise. Its like eighty degrees outside. Wear shorts or a dress.

El: A tank top or bandea.

Scarlett: You can wear heels but it maybe a little uncomfortable with where were taking you.

El: But you could take them off.

Scarlett: True. So sandals or heels.

I bit my lip while imagining outfits.

Me: I think I got the perfect outfit.

I went back into my closet and pulled out my outift. I laid it on the bed and nodded in approval.

After my shower, I threw on my clothes and heels. I slicked my hair into a bun and changed my phone case into one the same color as my heels. I grabbed my keys, cross body and phone before leaving out my room. I went into the front and their jaws dropped to the floor.

El: Ooo! Oh man got damn!

I laughed.

Scarlett: Do a lil spin girl!

I did a little spin and ended in a tiny pose.

El: Damn! Babymomma looking good!

Scarlett: You kow good and damn well Alexus wouldn't let your ass walk out this damn apartment dressed like that.

Me: Alexus isn't gonna know.

They smirked.

El: You right babymomma. Let's go.

Me: Shot gun!

We walked out my apartment and I locked the doors behind us. I noticed a girl in the back of Scarlett's Mercedes.

Me: Whose that?

We got in the car.

Scarlett: This is Cassidy. Cassidy, this is Nicole.

Cassidy: Hello. Nice to meet you.

I shook her hand.

Me: You as well.

Scarlett hooked her phone up to the aux and began playing iSpy.

Me: Oh! This my shit.

I turned it up and began twerking in my seat.

El: Damn babymomma! Lemme get them bands!

I laughed as I saw money throwing my way.

Cassidy: Twerk! Twerk! Twerk!

I laughed.

Me: We lit bitches!

We heard sirens and Scarlett's eyes widened. I began laughing as she pulled over.

Me: Scarlett, you a white girl. Work ya charm.

El, Cassidy and I began laughing. The cop came up to the window and knocked. Scarlett took a deep breath and rolled down her window.

Scarlett: Good afternoon, officer. What seems to be the problem?

Officer: Ma'am do you know you were going over the speed limit? By twenty miles at that?

Scarlett: No sir. Im so sorry. We were on the way to visit our grandmother. She is very sickly. I dont think she'll make it past tomorrow.

The officer's facial expressions seemed to soften.

Officer: Okay. Ma'am. Just let me see your license and registration and you can be on your way.

Scarlett nodded and reached into her glove compartment with a sad facial expression.

After our delay, we were finally back on the road.

Cassidy: That was too damn funny!

Scarlett: The funny thing is my grandma is alive and still doing the limbo.

We all laughed and continued to listen to PnB Rock's song Misunderstood all the way to our destination.

My eyes widened at the gorgeous mansion infront of us.

Me: Wow. This place is gorgeous.

Cassidy: Right. Whoever lives here is lucky.

El: The people who live here are getting their fairytale ending.

I smiled at those two words. It made me think of my own life.

Scarlett: Okay lets go.

We all got out and went up the sidewalk to the door.

El: Nicole, ring the bell.

I did as said and the door slowly opened. I raised an eyebrow and looked behind me at the girls. They shrugged and I opened my crossbody, grabbing my gun. I always come prepared.

I took it off safety and slowly stepped into the house. It was dark, like pitch black. I felt for a light switch and before my hand came incontact with the wall I was snatched up.

Oh hell nah. Got me bent.

I was still holding my gun so I swung it blindly, it collided with something and I heard a "fuck!". I reached in the air for hopefully a body part and silent cheered when I felt one. It was a shoulder and I knew my body parts so I reached up and bit and wrapped my forearm around what would be an avergae person's neck. I pressed my gun to their temple.

Me: Cut on the fucking light or I swear to God, I'm shooting!

Before I could even blink the lights were cut on and there were people all around the room. I knew them, well most of em.

Them: Surprise!

I looked at the person in my arms then at them.

Me: What the hell?

??: Mommy.

I turned my head to the left and there stood my little baby with a scared expression on her face.

Me: Marie.

Alexus: Baby put the gun down. Its your bridal shower.

Me: Bridal shower?

I looked at the girl in my arms and slowly let her loose.

El: Music!

Fetty Wap began playing and everybody began to talk, eat and dance while I was in shock. I quickly put away my gun while I realized my baby was still there.

Me: Im sorry. I thought I-

The girl chuckled.

Girl: No worries. You were raised right.

I felt arms go around my legs. I looked down and picked up Marie.

Marie: I love you mommy.

Me: I love you more, cupcake.

I looked at Alexus and smiled at her. She took us into her arms and kissed our foreheads.

Alexus: And I love both of my princesses.

Me: And we love daddy more.

We were about to start arguing over who loves who more but three girls walked up to us. If I hadnt met Alexus, I'd be intimidated by them.

Alexus: Yo! Indra, Dee and Dae! You made it!

She let go of us and hugged them.

Girl two: Yea we did. We couldn't miss the bridal shower of our finna be cousin and sister-in-law.

Me: Woah, in-law?

Alexus: Nicole, this is Indra, my sister, Dee and Dae, my cousins. Yall this is Nicole and our daughter Marie. Our son, Ja'Bree is around here some where.

Me: Wait, I think I've heard of you before. Have I met you?

Dee: Not officially. We took care of that little problem for you.

Right! That's where they're from.

Me: Oh yeah, wow. Its nice to finally meet you.

Indra: Same here.

I handed Marie to Alexus and pecked her cheek.

Me: Im starving.

I walked off and to where I smelt the food at. I looked at the long table of food and grinned. I grabbed a hotdog and put some ketchup on it, as soon as I was about to take my first bite, Alexus decided she had something to say.

Alexus: Yo! Lemme have yall attention!

I stiffled my laugh and bit into my hotdog.

Alexus: As you know, this is a bridal shower for my soon to be wife, Nicole. I have no clue where she at right now but wherever your fine ass is it, bring ya ass up here.

I playfully rolled my eyes and walked through the crowd with my hot dog in my hands.

Alexus: Hold the hell up, what the hell are you wearing?

Me: Clothes.

Alexus: You mean rags?

Me: I dont see what's wrong with it.

I looked down at my outfit.

Alexus: I can count so many thing wrong with it. For starters, its too damn short and somebody's little cousin cant keep his eyes to his got damn self!

She turned to look at some computer looking geek. He was adorable, like a hamster but I'd never date him. Mainly cause he's a guy and I got my soon to be wife right infront of me.

The guy quickly looked away making a few people chuckle.

Alexus: For two its too tight. It hugs everything just perfectly. Three th-

Me: Okay I get it Lex.

She chuckled and wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

Alexus: We'll talk about that later.

Erik's stupid ass decided to be a clown and yell out;

Erik: Their version of talking is fucking! So they're gonna fuck it out!

People began laughing and we did too knowing it was true.

Me: Hey, I cant complain, the sex is good.

We laughed again.

Alexus: Okay. So since this is your bridal shower babgirl, I want you to open your gifts now.

She spun me around and directed me to a throne like chair. I walked over and sat in it.

Me: Okay lets see.

Since I was surrounded in the gifts, all I had to do was grab them. I grabbed the first one and began to unwrap it. I looked in the box and smiled.

Me: This had to be expensive.

It was twelve very beautiful wine glasses.

Scarlett: It was one hundred and fifty dollars for each so eh.

I smiled.

Me: Thank you, Scar.

Scarlett: Of course.

I gently set the gift down and moved onto another. I opened it and squealed.

Me: I've always wanted a cashmere throw blanket!

Kiara: I knew you'd like it.

Me: Thank you so much, Kiara.

Kiara: Yeah of course.

I set the gift down and moved onto another. I unwrapped it and opened the box. When I say my jaw dropped, it literally dropped.

Me: Okay, which one of you idiots gave me lingerie?

Yasmine: Me! Alexus, try not to rip it off. It was hella expensive.

I flicked her off as they laughed.

Alexus: No promises.

We laughed and I continued opening my presents.

After about ten minutes I was done.

Alexus: So I dont know if Im supposed to give you a gift or not but I did anyways.

She handed me a smaller box. It was a black suede small box. I smiled and took it from my soon to be wife. I gently opened the box and picked up the real gold key.

Me: Um. A key?

Alexus: To our house.

Me: I'm moving back in with you?

Alexus: Somewhat. This mansion is ours. I bought it last week and been getting it ready for us.

My eyes widened and I jumped up.

Me: Your lying.

Alexus: Nope. This is our new house.

I cupped her cheeks and placed my lips on hers, pecking her lips multiple times and kissing them after the last peck I gave her.

Me: I love you.

Alexus: I love you more.

We heard claps and the music began playing again.
