( Nicole )

Me hearing moans is what woke me up. Loud moans infact. 

I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and checked the time ; 2:50 am. Who the fuck is moaning is my fucking question. Fuck the damn time.

I got up , getting out of the guest room's bed and slipped on my slippers. I walked out the room and looked down both ends of the hallway before going towards the sound of the moans. I heard it coming from Lexi's room. My heart beating faster than it already was at the thought of her cheating on me.

I slowly and quietly opened the door to find my eyes confirm my thoughts. Lexi was between Krystal's thighs.

Me: Lexi?

Lexi came up from between Krystal's thighs ad looked at the door. She let out a laugh.

Lexi: Oh Nicole. 

Me: What the fuck are you doing?

Krystal: You drove her away by hating me and now she loves me. We've been fucking longer than you can imagine.

Usually I would've said said , but I couldn't and I don't know why.

Krystal got up and grabbed a knife from the bedside table and came running towards me with it. I tried to get out the way but when I looked down , I was stepping in some type of substance that was keeping me from moving.

Why didn't I see that once I walked inside the damn room?

I felt a pain in my stomach. I looked down and saw the knife inserted in my stomach. I looked from Lexi to Krystal. 

Lexi: what the hell Krystal. That wasn't the plan. My kids still need a damn mother ya know.

Krystal smirked and yanked the knife out. I fell to the ground where the glue once was , but wasn't there anymore.

What the hell?

Lexi sat beside me and placed her hands on the stomach. 

Lexi: Stay with me , Nicole. My kids need you even though I hate you.

She kept tapping my face but my eyes closed and I died.

I woke up covered in sweat and tears streaming down my face. I moved the blanket down and lifted my shirt up to find everything still in tact , no stitches and my piercing still in one. I quickly grabbed my phone and walked out the room and back to the room I shared with Lexi. I opened the door , still crying and saw her in bed sleeping.

I cut on the light and shook her. She opened her eyes and sat up while rubbing them.

Lexi: Nicky? What's wrong?

Me: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

She pulled me into her lap and I cried in her neck as she rubbed my back.

Lexi: It's okay.

She pulled me back and wiped my face.

Lexi: It's okay Nicky.

Me: I'm sorry I was such a bitch to you and Krystal.

Lexi: I forgive you but you have to apologize to Krystal too.

Me: I will.

Lexi: Please cut the light back off , it's too bright.

I did as she said and stood infront of the bed as she laid back down.

Lexi: What're you doing. Get back in bed.

I began to walk towards the door.

Lexi: This bed. I want you in this bed.

Me: I thought you didn't.

Lexi: I never said that.

Me: True.

I put my phone beside hers and got back in bed with her and she wrapped her arm around me and I laid on her stomach.

Lexi: So why were you crying?

Me: I had a bad dream.

Lexi: What about?

Me: Me , You , Krystal.

Lexi: What happened?

I told her what happened in my dream.

Lexi: That'll never happen. I can never hate you , I can never cheat on you , and aint nobody gone kill you while I'm alive , okay?

Me: Promise?

Lexi: I promise. Now go to sleep.

Me: Okay.

I closed my eyes and felt Lexi entwined my hand with her other hand.

Lexi: Nicole?

Me: Hm?

Lexi: I love you.

Me: I love you too.

Later That Day

When I woke up it was 12:27. I got out of bed and went to the first level. I went in the tv room and saw Lexi on one half of the couch , Ja'Bree and Marie in the middle and Krystal on the other half , they were watching Netflix. 

Marie: Mama!

Lexi helped her off the couch and I picked her up when she ran to my legs.

Marie: Daddy wooks wappy today.

I looked at Lexi who was looking and Marie and I with a smile on her face.

Me: She does doesn't she.

Marie nodded.

Me: Well go back to happy daddy. I have to talk to Krystal.

Marie went back to Lexi and Krystal looked up at me.

Me: Krystal , can I speak to you?

Krystal: Yeah sure.

She got up and followed me out the room.

Krystal: What's up?

Me: I'm sorry. I know I've apologized before , but that was only because I was forced to , this time I'm saying it myself. I shouldn't have been that mean with you. I didn't have a reason to. I just don't like the fact that another woman is living here with us. I'm sorry for being petty and mean.

Krystal: Oh it's okay. I would probably doing the same thing if I were in your shoes.

Me: So we cool?

Krystal: Yeah , we cool.

Me: Awesome. Well I have to get ready for work now , so I'll probably see you before I leave.

Krystal: Alright.

We went separate ways and I went back into our room. 

( Lexi )

Krystal came back in but Nicole didn't.

Me: She apologized?

Krystal: Yeah , I understand where she's coming from. So we're cool now.

Me: Cool.

Ja'Bree: Dad?

I looked at him.

Me: Mhm?

Ja'Bree: Did you and mom make up?

Me: We did.

Ja'Bree: Okay then , you think it would be safe to ask if I could hae a few friends over?

Me: Depends on your version of a few.

Ja'Bree: 1.

Me: Then yeah.

Ja'Bree: Plus 10.

Me: 11? Yeah no. 

Ja'Bree: So can I just ask you?

Me: And you know my answer will be ask your mother.

Ja'Bree: Dad please.

I sighed and looked at him.

Krystal: Oh come on Lexi. What's the worst that can happen?

Me: They tear the house to hell.

Krystal: And they will clean it up.

I gave in.

Me: Okay okay , but they have to come after your mother leaves , so when she gets home later tonight she'll be to tired to do anything and it'll be too early for her to tell their parents to come get this. We're just gonna have to deal with her cussing us out tomorrow.

Ja'Bree: Okay. Thanks dad , your awesome.

Me: I know.

He unlocked his ipod and began typing away on it. Nicole came down with her hair pinned up , phone in one hand , keys in another , scrubs on her body and crossbody around her.

Nicole: Okay , I'm off to work. Give me hugs and kisses. Ja'bree and Marie ran to her legs and she crouched down and hugged their petite frames and kissed both of their cheeks.

Nicole: I love you two.

Ja'Bree & Marie: We love you too mommy.

Nicole looked at Ja'Bree.

Nicole: What you up to?

Ja'Bree: What do you mean , mommy?

Nicole: You never call me mommy unless your up to something or want something.

Ja'Bree: Nothing mommy.

Nicole looked at me and I got up. 

Me: Okay , time for you to go babygirl.

I pushed her towards the door as she said a see ya later to Krystal.

Nicole: Why are you trying to get rid of me?

Me: Don't want you to be late. Call me on your lunch break and text me when you on your way home. Be safe and I love you.

I gave her a quick peck and pushed her out the door and closed it. She yelled through the door.

Nicole: We'll finish this when I get home!

Me: Okay! Go to work baby!

I didn't hear anything from her but I did heard a engine start. I turned around and looked at Ja'Bree.

Me: We're gonna have to work on your acting skills.

We laughed and went back into the movie room where Krystal and Marie was.

Nicole isn't being bitchy anymore ?
