I hope everyone's having a good summer and weekend! Time for chapter 7 art.

Katie went around the room looking for art supplies to use, I just sat down at one of the tables and watched her. She found ten blank pieces of paper. Hang on I'll be right back. She said. K. She went downstairs to get something from her backpack. I'm glad she's doing something she loves, art. When I was waiting I got up and walks around the room , I've never been in this class here before. I walked up to the sink by the window. I checked to see if it was still working. Good the water isn't clogged. What in the hell is that smell?!? I looked in the drainer and saw a piece of metal cover with some kind of green jell. What the? I hear Katie coming, I put it in a ziplock bag that was next to me then put it in my pocket. Hey Jesus! She said. Hey. I'm not Jesus. I said in my head. I washed my hands to get a piece of the jell off. What were you doing? Oh just looking around. I said, k? What did you get? My case of colored pencils and pens and art pens to. Oh yeah I remember those. I always keep them in my backpack. We both sat down at one of the tables, so whatcha making? I asked. You'll see. I grabbed a piece of paper and began to draw. What are you drawing? She asked, like you said, you'll see. One hour later, I finished forty minutes ago, Katie finished in an hour. What do you think? She asked, I was a black grey and white lotus flower and on the bottom said peace. Woah...... I said a little quiet. Beautiful. I said, thank you Jesus. How many times do I gotta tell you I am not Jesus? Probably forever. She said. Greeeaaaatt............. I said, she laughed. What did you make? Well.............. Well what? It's dumb. I'm sure it's not. To me it is. Can I see. Please? She said, fine. I showed her. Wow. It's a Phoenix with flames and the flames on the top spelled out, Freedom, Amazing. What should we do with these. I asked, I'll hold on to them. But amazing Jesus. Really?!? Yeah I said that. Ok I think that's enough art for today class. I said, awww what!?! Yep let's go, come on. Fine. I closed the door. Hey..... What? She surprised hugged me, thank you. She whispered in my ear. No problem. We started to head downstairs back to the group hangout spot.
