"Wow, Y/N! You were totally amazing out there at the Sports Festival!" Lucia exclaimed as she pumped her fist in the air. The two females were sitting out in the garden, surrounded by blooming flowers.

"Thank you, Ms. Lucia." Y/N said as she sipped on the tea that was in her hand.

"So, Y/N! Something dawned on me the other day when I watching you fight." Lucia told her, gaining the teen's attention. "You've never really told me about your school life." She noted. Y/N tilted her head.

"I apologize. You had told me to stop giving you reports."

"I know--but I still want to hear about it!"

"I do not understand." Y/N replied, genuinely confused. She didn't want a report, but wanted a report?

"I don't want a 'report' report. I want like a casual talk. Like tell me how's school going. In a casual way--no salutes, no 'ma'am's', no nothing fancy. I'm just 'Lucia', okay?" The woman said. Y/N hesitantly gave her a nod.

"I believe I have a better understanding."

"Great! So! Do you have any friends?"

"Friends...?" 

Hmm. Did she have friends? Friends were comrades she was close to, right? But how would she know if they were close or not? Let's see... who does she talk to?

"Yes. Midoriya and Shinsou, sir."

"Midoriya and Shinsou? Hmm...why do those names sound familiar?"

"I do not know, Ms. Lucia. I cannot read your thoughts."

"Right... OH!! They were at the sports festival! Midoriya was the one with the green hair, I think. He sure surprised me with his amazing power!"

"Yes. Midoriya sir is indeed strong."

11:36 A.M. || Mustafu, Japan || Midoriya Residence - Izuku's Room

Midoriya's face molded into confusion and slight blush as a bubbly feeling of accomplishment flooded inside him.

"And that Shinsou boy! I think you fought with him! Your first match right?"

"Yes."

"I didn't get to see a lot of his skill, but he seems pretty strong!"

"Yes. Shinsou sir is very capable."

11:37 A.M. || Mustafu, Japan || Some Sidewalk

Shinsou felt his heart flutter as happiness and pride filled it. Hmm. Weird.

11:37 A.M. || Mustafu, Japan || Evergarden Residence - Garden

"Wow, Y/N! You sure know how to make some powerful friends!"

"Thank you." The teen took another sip of tea. "Ms. Lucia, permission to ask a question."

"Go ahead. Shoot."

"I do not have my rifle, ma'am."

"Uh...nevermind. Go ahead, ask me your question."

"What kind of tea is this?"

"Huh? Oh, peppermint. Why? Do you not like it?"

"No...It's tasty. But the flavor is unfamiliar to me." Y/N noted. "What is 'peppermint'?" She asked.

"Peppermint? Oh! It's a herb, but it's also a candy! Wait right here, I'll bring some out!" Y/N watched as Lucia left and came back after a few minutes with a two small boxes. The first one was filled with green tiny plants with leaves sticking out. The second box was full of red and white candies. "Here, try one!" Lucia unwrapped one and popped it into Y/N's mouth before she even had the chance to respond.

The taste was cooling on her warm tongue. It began to melt as she sucked on it. It was so slippery, she almost swallowed it whole!

"This is..." Y/N had no words to describe it. Luckily, she didn't have to. The pink on her cheeks told Lucia enough. The woman had never seen the teen blush before. She must've really liked them! 

Y/N looked back at the tiny and tasty treat. She squinted as it reminded her of something... 

Her eyes widened in realization. She shot up from her seat with eagerness. She took a handful of the peppermints, surprising Lucia.

"Uh...Y/N?"

"Ms. Lucia! Allow me to take some of these, there is something I must do!"

"O-Oh, okay! Go ahead!"

"Thank you! Please excuse me!" She said, already dashing off. Lucia sat there surprised.

Where was she going?

11:51 P.M. || Mustafu, Japan || Sidewalk

Todoroki was peacefully strolling down the sidewalk, hands in pockets.

"Todoroki, sir." He turned to see Y/N standing behind him with something closed up in her hands. He looked at her. It looked like she had been running, so she maybe she was in a hurry.

"Hello." He bluntly greeted.

"I discovered something." She opened her hands and pulled out something and pocketed the rest. She unwrapped the plastic wrapping it was in and held it in her hand. He curiously looked at the item.

A...peppermint?

"I discovered 'peppermint'." She said.

"Um...goo-" He was interrupted by her metal hand forcing it between his lips, her thumb pushing it into his mouth. He was surprised by her actions. He didn't think she would force something into his mouth--or in fact do anything--without permission.

And wait, did she just indirectly make him kiss her hand?

"Is it good?"

"Yeah." He looked at her curiously. "Why?"

"It just..." She looked up at him with something new. Something he had never seen her do before.

She was smiling.

No--she was grinning with her eyes closed. Blush on her cheeks.

"It just reminded me of you, peppermint."

Honestly, he could take that two ways. Should he be weirded out that she called him 'peppermint' or should he be happy she was thinking of him?

But he wasn't focusing on that.

He was captivated by her grin. Y/N, she thought it was funny. Her fascinating, rare smile proved that. A bubbly feeling sprung into his heart.

He was glad he could make her happy.

A small smile tugged his lips.

This girl is really special.

So special, he didn't mind being called a peppermint.
