Chapter 17 - The Last Night
"Do you think that they moved?" Tracy asked him one night as they headed back to the hotel after dinner at Maagho's.
"No. I don't think so." Bob said as they approached the hotel. "We would have seen some sigh of them leaving."
"Perhaps." Tracy said as she dropped her head.
She was started to get frustrated knew that they had to get this sagain. She knew that the time that she had with him was wearing down. And sheolved if they were to be able to move forward with anything.
But it seemed that everything had stalled out. For the last couple of days hadn't been as progressive as the first day. They had gone out each day and had spent the entire day hoping to see the boats again. Only to come up empty handed.
So far the only thing that they had been able to figure out was that the boats had been the ones reported missing. Plus they had been able to positively identify the heavy set blonde as being the famous pirate Captain Steel who was known for using guns oppose to the famous swords of the old pirates. Captain Steel had been responsible for countless deaths and hostile takeovers of hundreds of ships. Which meant that if they took him down, they would end his whole reign of terror.
But that wasn't going to be enough. They were going to have to take everyone of them out. Otherwise the issue would still continue. Just under the next highest pirate in line.
No, if they were going to get it to stop. They were going to have to take them all out in one massive attack. Which was going to require the entire Society team to do it. Which meant that she could possible lose them in the process.
The thought sent chills down Tracy's spine as she thought about it. She didn't want to lose another team. Not again. Her own team had been hard enough for her to bear. She really didn't want to go through that again.
"Hey." She heard Bob say from beside her. "Let's do something different tonight."
Her thoughts paused for a moment as if he had just shattered her train of thought. She then slowly looked at him. She had been so lost in thought. That she hadn't even realized that they had stopped outside of the hotel by the stairs, that would take them to high gondola transport to the other side of town. He slowly turned her towards him as he searched her face.
"Different?" She asked as if the idea was crazy
"Yes. Different." He said as he cupped her chin in his hand. "You obviously need to stop thinking about what we trying to do and focus on something else for a bit."
She dropped her head for a moment as she tried not to look at him. But he quickly pulled her face back up to his. She could see the concern in his face.
He slowly moved her hair off to the side and behind her ear. She then slowly wrapped her arms around him as she pulled herself against him. His warm body always seemed to help her stay calm.
He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head as he held her for a few moments. "You've been down all day today. So how about we change things up a bit and have some fun. Let's meet up with my crew for a night at the arena. Perhaps a night with them will cheer you up."
She slowly pulled back to look at him. "But aren't they busy?"
"Only during the day. They have been out in town each night since we pulled in. We have been missing them though since they have been coming in much later than us most nights." He said with a smile.
"Are you serious?" She said with a half smile.
"Well everyone except for Alex and Mike that is. But that's because they are the only two who have to be back early if the repairs are to be done on time." Bob answered with a smile. "But I think that they will even make an exception for one night."
Tracy slightly smiled at him. "I think that that sounds like a great idea then."
"Good. I'm glad you think so." He said as he gave her a loving smile. "Because there they are."
"What?" Tracy asked as she gave him a curious look.
"Have a look." He said as he nodded behind her.
Tracy slowly turned around and saw her favorite Atlantis crew members walking towards them with smiles on their faces. She couldn't help the half smile half cry that was fighting in her. Bob gave her a kiss on the head again before releasing her once the team walked up to them. Then she was engulfed in hugs as everyone greeted her with smiles.
The rest of the evening was nothing but a whirlwind of drinks and cheers, as horns were blown as they watched the games at the arena. Tracy couldn't remember having as much fun as she did that night with everyone as they were betting on the fights. Some bets they lost, while others they won. But to her, she didn't care. All that mattered, was that she gotta have fun with the people who she felt really cared for her, as much as she cared for them.

"Ahhhh, come oooon? Jussst one more bet." Tracy said in a very slurry voice as Bob carried her back up to their hotel room.
"I think that you have done enough betting for one night, love." He said with a smile as he carried her into the room, after which he closed the door with his foot.
"What you need now is a good night's sleep." He said as he carried her over to the bed and laid her down on her side.
"What? No fun tonight?" She asked with her seductive smile as she wrapped her hands around his neck.
"You know my rule on that." He said as he slowly unwrapped her arms from around his neck and stood back up as he reached down and started to take off her shoes. "I wouldn't want someone to think that I took advantage of you while you were drunk."
"That only works if I'm unwilling." She said as she sat back up and tried to grab his hands. "Which is definitely not the case."
"Willing or not." He said as he grabbed her hands and moved them back behind her. "It still counts."
As he got closer to her as he moved her hands, she leaned forward as she sought out his mouth. But he moved away from her and quickly removed her shoes and slipped her feet under the covers. She let him until he moved back towards her again. Then she once again reached out to him as he pulled the covers over her.
But right as her hands touched him, he quickly broke away from her and grabbed her wrists. Then he moved her arms above her head as he gently pushed her back onto the bed. Her breath caught as he was soon laying on top of her again. She lifted up her head as she fought to kiss him. But he was just out of range.
"Easy love." He said as he kept just out of range of her. "I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself."
"But I want you." She pleaded.
Bob closed his eyes for a moment. But then he opened them back up and gave her a heated gaze that was in contrast to what he said next to her.
"Perhaps in the morning, love." He said as he seemed to be struggling with himself. "But for now, you need your sleep."
"But..." She began as she gave him a longing look.
"That's a order." He said in a firm but gentle voice. "Now I have a phone call to make. And I want you to be asleep by time I'm done."
"Your no fun." She pouted at him as she relaxed under him.
"You'll thank me later." He said with a slightly sad tone as he looked at her.
"Sure. Whatever you say." She said in a hurt tone and she looked away from him.
"I'll be right back." He said to her.
Then he gave her a kiss on her forehead before he moved off of the bed and walked away to make his phone call. And that was the last thing she remembered before sleep completely took over. For the rest of the night was filled with dreams of everyone having fun at the arena and of what she pictured their passionate night would have been filled with, if not for the alcohol. Which led to some very erotic images.

The bright light coming into the room felt like lasers being blasted at her eyes as her head seemed to be pounded from the night before. She groaned as she rolled over to his side. Only to discover that his side seemed to be untouched. She slowly sat up and looked around the room and saw that the two chairs near the table had been pushed closer to each other and a blanket was laying across one of them.
Had he slept there last night? She thought as she looked puzzled and slightly hurt at the chairs.
But then she hissed as her head throbbed from the hangover that was threatening to be a powerful one this time. She knew that she shouldn't have drunk that much last night. But then again, she hadn't expected the mix drinks to be so strong. She could usually hold her liquor pretty well. But they had seemed to go down too easily and smoothly for her to even realized how many that she had had, until it was too late.
She dropped her head down as the headache seemed to intensify as the sun shined right on her face. Yeah, this was going to be a rough day if she didn't take care of this right away. So she turned and placed both feet on the floor and reached into the bedside dresser drawer and grabbed the bottle of painkillers and took two of them. Then right as she finished off the bottle water that was by her bed, the bathroom door opened up and out walked Bob.
He looked like he had just finished shaving and taking his shower as he walked out wearing only his boxer briefs. He looked at her and smiled. Then he walked over to her. She looked up at him with a weary smile.
"There's my sleepy head." He quietly said as he ran his fingers through her hair as he moved it behind her ear. "The shower is all ready for you."
"But I thought that you said in the morning....." Tracy started to ask in a slightly hurt voice as she looked away.
Bob cupped her chin in his hand and turned her head towards him as he brought her eyes up to meet his. "It was morning hours ago, love. It's almost noon now."
"What?" Tracy asked in a stunned tone as she stare at him. "Why didn't you wake me up?"
"I tried, but after seeing how beautiful and peaceful that you were sleeping. I didn't have the heart to wake you up. Besides, today I was thinking that we should head out a bit later. Perhaps we might catch a glimpse of them that way." He said as he gently rubbed his thumb across her face.
"Now you want to be a gentleman?" She teased back.
"I have always been a gentleman." He said as he helped her stand up. "Just sometimes I let the more passionate one out to play."
She smiled at him. "Okay."
"I suppose that I can forgive you this one time." She said as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Good. And I'll make up for this morning later." He said as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "But for now, how about you get your shower and into that sexy swim suit of yours. I have an idea of how we might get closer to the hideout."
"Oh really? And how is that?" She asked as she could feel herself starting to heat up from his hands, as his thumbs started to rub the small of her back.
"I'll tell you once we get out there." He said as he leaned in and gave her a gentle kiss.
"Hmmm." She hummed back at him before she released his lips. "Okay."

Tracy was glad that the painkillers had taken care of her headache from earlier. Otherwise, the heat from the sun beating down on her would have been too much to handle. It was bad enough that she was nervous as two boats pulled up to where the last boat had been sitting. Which was right next to the rock formation where they had last seen the pirates meet up.
She could tell that they were staring at her as she heard the boats slowly making their way over to the rock formation that was right by the boat. But that had been the idea. She was presumably sunbathing on the boat. Just alone on the boat, relaxing the day away. When in reality, she was a distraction while Bob was on top of the rock formation waiting to see which way that they were going to go so that he could see how to get in.
"Well look what we have here gentleman. A beautiful woman just waiting to be taken by a real man." She heard one of them say in a venomous tone.
You even try to touch me and you'll be shark bait asshole. Tracy thought as she tried to remain calm and still as if she was sleeping.
Suddenly she heard one of the boats get really close to her boat. She heart rate started to race. She hadn't counted on them being this bold from the beginning. Fuck. She knew that Bob was close by. But that did nothing for her if they tried to take her as she was. Which at the present time was unarmed and practically naked since all she was wearing was her two-piece string bikini.
Shit. This could be bad. She thought as she held her breath.
"Get off of it man. She wouldn't want an asshole like you." She heard coming from what she assumed was the other boat since it was coming from the front of the boat and not the back.
"Fuck you." She heard the first one say.
But her heart leaped as she realized that not only was he on the boat, but he was right by her as he came up to her.
Shit! Shit! Shit! This wasn't part of the plan. She thought as suddenly she felt him right beside her.
But right as she about to jump up and take him out as she could feel his hand reaching for her. She heard a third boat approaching her. She tensed up even more when she heard the voice from the third boat.
"Franky, get the hell off of that boat. Just what the hell do you think your doing?" Came an oily slick voice.
"I was just checking on her Captain." The first guy said as he was within inches of her.
Franky? Holy shit. It's the guy from the warehouse. Tracy thought as her heart rate started to sky rocket. This definitely the pirates.
Then she felt a chill run down her spin as she realized just how close he was. But then she felt him start to move away from her. She slowly opened up her eyes and saw a tall brunette start to walk away from her. She felt her heart in her throat as she realized just how close he had gotten to her. She slowly sat up and watched him move back towards the stern.
"You'll have to pardon him young lady." She heard the oily voice say to her.
She slowly turned around and saw the heavy set blonde looking right at her as his stood on his boat's bow that was right beside her. "He hasn't quite learned how to handle a beautiful woman, such as yourself I'm afraid."
Fuck fuck fuck! This is really not good. She thought in horror as she looked at him.
She could see the two gun holsters on his hips as well as a full belt of clips. Oh yeah. He definitely fit the steel part of his name. She could only imagine how many other guns that he had hidden on his person. For he may be showing two, but based on the full belt clip. He was fully packing in several different areas. She just prayed that he wasn't thinking with the pistol in his underwear as he stared at her.
"Might we be of some assistance to you young lady?" He asked as his eyes ran up and down her body as he slightly licked his lips.
"No. I'm perfectly fine. Thank you for checking on me though." Tracy said in somewhat stable voice, which was in contrast to her shaking hands.
"Well we couldn't very well ignore you now could we." He said as his eyes seemed to stop and stare at her breasts as they showed just over the edge of the top of the bikini. "After all, you are alone today. The last few times you were accompanied by a man. Did he leave you or something?"
Fuck! They saw us! Please six tell me that they don't suspect anything. She thought as she tried to keep her whits.
"He just had other plans today is all." She replied back to him as she slowly got up and pulled her towel up with her as well.
"Perhaps today you would like someone else's company instead then?" He said as he eyes then dropped lower.
Yeah he's thinking with his little pistol now. This is really not good. I need to back out before I get into something I can't get out of. She thought as she felt her heart in her throat.
"No thank you. I need to be heading back anyway. I'm suppose to be joining him for lunch. And he will be upset if I was late." Tracy said as she wrapped her towel around herself and started to head for the bridge.
"I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you're a few minutes late." He called after her as she came around the edge of the window to the bridge area.
Don't respond. Just leave. Get some distance until they disappear. Then you can go back for Bob. She thought as she started up the boat.
Then she slowly turned the boat away from them as she slowly increased the speed of the boat. She was glad that Bob had showed her how to drive the boat just incase she had to do exactly what she was doing. But at the same time, it scared the hell out of her that she had to leave him like this. But Captain Steel wasn't really giving her much of a choice as he watched her with his skilled eyes.
But perhaps this was perfect since this might be when Bob finds out how to get into their hideout. Which as she turned and looked back at the rock formation, she could see Bob stand up and look in her direction as she sped away. Her heart dropped as he watched him get smaller.
Please be safe, love. I'll be back with the rest of the Society. She thought before she turned back around and pushed the boat to the max as she flew back to Altissia.
