It all started with two sisters born with the rarest of beauties. Siblings in blood and soon to be rivals in love.

In the middle of winter, before the rising of the sun in the east, two daughters were born to a wealthy family in the eastern part of Frisia. The Morning Star that glows brightly in the east even at dawn was known to bless any newborn with the blessing of light. Many tried to get its blessing but went home failing to catch a single drop of it's favor.

It soon came to pass when a woman was about to give birth. Suffering the pain only women knows, she held her sight to his husband who took her hand in his palm and assures her security.

A cry was heard and the first child was born. The girl was named Katherine and she came to be when the Star was at it's brightest. Everyone knew she was blessed by the Star thinking she was the first one ever to be favored. The father took the girl in his hands and gave the biggest smile he ever gave to anyone. The mother whose hair are as yellow as gold beamed with a smile as bright as her golden hair.

The Star glowed once again and the mother felt another surging pain in her belly. Another child is coming. Once again, she cried in pain struggling with agony, facing the same pain and crying with her most tears .But all her tears were washed away in an instant when her youngest was born. The girl was like a precious gem to her and she demand to hold her tight in her bosom. She took her lovingly in her arms and the moment she touched her babies' skin, she knew immediately that she would protect her. She named her Margareth and she loved her more than anything in the world.

The father with the firstborn still in his hands held his head high to look at the Star but what he saw was a star out of light. It was at it's weakest when five seconds ago, it was the brightest star he had ever seen. It was a mystery for him- mystery that bothered him but time would give him the answer and he would soon uncover the secrecy within or will the fates allow him not? Would the question be this or will it be another?
