At the next day,

When Hariz arrived at the arena, he only sees Ryuuga High MMA club's members and his fellow dojo trainees are there.

"So, the homecoming committee is not coming, huh?" asked Hariz.

"Yeah. They said they will not come until you apologise for saying that homecoming king title only for sissy", said Rhea.

"I see. I'll think about it", said Hariz before all of them enters the arena lobby to see the quarter-finals match cards.

Female Class E: Rhea Ripley (Strelsau) vs. Kase Taylor (Ventara)

Male Class D: Jin Hakariya (Strelsau) vs. Tengensei Daigo (Gosei)

Class E: Yusuke Godai (Strelsau) vs. Joe Gibken (Zangyack)

Class G: Hariz Eagles (Strelsau) vs. Ahmed Khan (Langat)

"So, it's my match first. Better go and get ready", said Hariz before left with Yusuke and Jin to go for warm-up.

During warming up session,

"So, mate. You still 1 weeks before your punishment ends, right?" asked Yusuke.

"Yeah. Why?" asked Hariz.

"Then, what's next?" asked Jin.

"Who knows? Let the time decides it", said Hariz. When they are at the middle of warming up, suddenly Hariz saw Ciara is making her way towards them.

"Hi, boys", greeted Ciara.

"Hey, there. Never thought you'll be here", said Hariz.

"Won't miss my saviour match this time", said Ciara.

"Please, Ciara. Drop away the 'saviour'. It's not cool", said Hariz. Ciara chuckles.

"I'll be cheering for you. I mean all of you", said Ciara.

"Thanks", said Hariz. Ciara kisses Hariz on his cheek before left.

"Time sure had change, right Jin?" asked Yusuke.

"Yes. Our friend here had grown up", said Jin.

"What are you 2 punks talking about?" asked Hariz.

"You shall realise right now. You have turn from one of the most unpopular kid to the popular one", said Jin.

"Really, I don't realise that", said Hariz. Yusuke and Jin looked at each other.

"Really, mate? You have 2 possible homecoming date right now", said Yusuke.

"Who?" asked Hariz.

"First, that Sharapova-senpai. And then Ciara-chan", said Jin.

"Da hell? No, mate. Besides, I don't think I'll be going after all", said Hariz.

"Seriously? You've been part of homecoming committee and decide not to go", said Yusuke.

"Who cares? I just do what I want", said Hariz. Yusuke and Jin sighed.

Later;

Hariz is ready at the locker room with Yusuke and Jin that will be at his ringside later. Then, Mr Zrayne and Pak Tam enter.

"How you're doing, son?" asked Pak Tam.

"Great, master", said Hariz.

"Don't kill your opponent, Eagles", said Mr Zrayne.

"I'll try, sir", said Hariz.

"Control your emotion a bit", said Pak Tam. Hariz just nodded before make his way to the tunnel.

"NOW, IT'S TIME FOR MALE CLASS G QUARTER FINAL. IN THIS MATCH, AT THE RED CORNER; REPRESENTING LANGAT, WEIGHED IN 75.6kg, THE IRON FORT, AHMEEEDDDD KHAAAAANNN"

"HIS OPPONENT, AT THE BLUE CORNER; REPRESENTING STRELSAU, WEIGHED IN 76.8kg, THE SNIPER, HARIIIIIZZZ EAGLEEEESSSS"

Hariz enters the ring with full confidence inside him. He just likes a hungry lion facing its meal.

TING! TING! TING!

The match begins with both fighters circling the middle of the ring. Then, Hariz throws a punch that hit directly to his opponents' face before launch a multiple punches. His opponent is not giving up easily. Khan then hits Hariz's head with a whip kick that makes Hariz stunned for a few second. Later Hariz launch a counter attack by launch some accurate and precise. Both fighters keep changing blows until the end of first round.

From the spectator's area;

"Is he getting soft or something? His attack yesterday was better", said Luka.

"Well, he just fight the way he always be right now", said Rhea.

"Then, what about yesterday?" asked Ryoko.

"Yesterday, Sharapova called him heartless. So, I guess he just want to show what a heartless actually mean", said Tenma. Everyone just nodded.

Back to the ring;

"Mate, where's your eager? Is it only comes when someone piss you off?" asked Yusuke.

"Yes, bro. Don't you waste more time. Show them what you got", said Jin.

"Son, go for it", said Pak Tam. Hariz nodded.

TING! TING! TING!

Round 2 begins. This time both fighters fight aggressively. 20 seconds before the end of round 2, Hariz saw an opportunity. He moves 1 step backwards and kicks his opponent's head. His opponent fell down. When his opponent trying to stand up, he rush and sit on his opponent's chest and punches him until the reff stop the match.

"HERE'S YOUR WINNER BY TKO, THE SNIPER HARIZ EAGLES"

Later, after Hariz changed into his casual outfit; Hariz re-joins his sisters and friends at spectator's seat.

"Wow, congratulation. You make it to semi-final", said Ciara.

"Thanks, Ciara", replied Hariz.

"I'm so proud of you, little brother", said Tanya.

"Aww, thank you, old by 3 minutes sister", said Hariz before wraps his hand on his twin's shoulder. At his left, Tori just remain silent. Hariz then wraps his hand on Tori's shoulder too.

"You're okay, sis? It's not like you to keep silence like this", said Hariz.

"I'm fine. Just wondering how can you focus in your match after what happen around you", said Tori.

"Well, that's not a problem. Everytime I'm going to hit, I'm imagine my target is my problem. So, every attack I made is just like me destroying my problem", said Hariz.

"Oh, I see. No wonder you didn't seem lost in your match. Good for you. I hope I can find a way like you too", said Tori.

'You will, sis. I believe in you", said Hariz before kissed Tori's forehead.

When the quarter-final round ended, Hariz and his friends all manage to reach semi-final. The semi-finals will be held in a few days. While on the way out of the arena, Hariz and his friends were approached by O'Neill and his friends.

"Make sure you make it to the final, Sniper. I'll beat the defending champion for you in the semi-final", said O'Neill.

"So confident aren't you? Don't underestimate your opponent mate, because if you lost, we might found you crying in the storeroom", said Hariz.

"Just you to know, Eagles. Me and my friends here will beat you and your buddy in the final. Just you wait", said O'Neill.

"We'll see about that, mate. Now will you excuse us? We're going home now", said Hariz. Then he left with his sisters and friends.

Next day, at school;

Hariz was summoned to principal's office the moment school's bell rang. He knocked the door before entering.

"I'm here, Principal Maddox", said Hariz.

"Ah, Mr Eagles. Take a seat", said Principal Maddox. Hariz then takes a seat.

"Ma'am, why are calling for me?" asked Hariz.

"You see. It seems that the homecoming committee members don't want you to involve in their work anymore. Therefore, I will replace your punishment with suspension until this Friday. Got it", said Principal Maddox.

"Yes, ma'am. Is it starting today?" asked Hariz.

"Yes. Therefore I need you to leave the school area after this", said Principal Maddox.

"Very well, ma'am", said Hariz.

"Now then, you may go. I'll see you for homecoming this Saturday", said Principal Maddox.

"We'll see if I'm be going", said Hariz before left the office. Then, Hariz returns to his class, picks up his bag, and later left the school with his car.

When he arrives home, he send a message to all his friends; Hey mate. Principal Maddox had changes my punishment from serving the homecoming committee to suspension until this Friday. So, I'll be seeing all of you in Friday during the semi-final. Don't bother to reply because I'm going to switch off my phone. After sending the message, Hariz turn off his phone, write a note to his sisters, and make his way to somewhere.
