Like everyday, Jokey pulled pranks on the Smurfs around the village, mainly Brainy.

Jokey: Hey Brainy! Here's a gift for you!

Brainy: A present? For me? How thoughtful of you, Jokey.

It was often the casual firecrackers in a box trick. When Brainy opened the gift box, it exploded in his face. Jokey laughed uncontrollably.

Brainy: Oh, that Jokey Smurf!

Later that day, Smurfette was watering her flowers when Jokey came up to her.

Jokey: Smurfette! I picked some flowers for you!

Smurfette: How sweet, Jokey, it's good to know that somesmurf is a true gentlesmurf.

But the flowers squirted water right in her face, once again, it was another one of Jokey's jokes.

Smurfette: Jokey Smurf!

Jokey: *laughs* Looks like the flowers decided to water you!

Smurfette: Jokey Smurf, one of these days, you'll get a smurf of your own medicine!

Jokey didn't stop there, he continued with his crazy pranks and jokes throughout the village.

Painter: Sacre bleu! My painting! She is ruined!

Jokey: *laughs* Good one, Painter, how about Sacre green, sacre yellow?! Sacre red?!

Sassette: Froggy! Jokey Smurf, how could you?!

Jokey: *laughs* Just a little mix up!

Clumsy: My rock collection! Where'd it go?!

Jokey: I dunno!

Finally, the Smurfs had it and kicked Jokey out the village, along with one of his gift boxes that exploded right in his face.

Jokey: That's not funny!

Some time later, Jokey was contemplating on what joke to pull next, but he couldn't think of anything new. Baby Smurf smiled watching him pace back and forth.

Jokey: I don't get it! I've pulled so many jokes, yet I can't smurf anything new!

Baby: *babbles cutely*

Jokey: The last time I smurfed a good trick was when Gargamel-*gasps* That's it!

Without hesitation, Jokey hurried to Handy's workshop, he seemed a little busy.

Jokey: Handy!

Handy jumped in surprise, his hammer hitting his head.

Handy: What is it, Jokey?!

Jokey: I need you to build something smurfy! Please?! I'll make it up to you!

Handy: What is this time? Last time you smurfed to build something, you had me build that firesmurfer that set the whole village on fire!

Jokey: I'll explain later, just smurf it, please!

Handy: Fine, if you're so desperate, I'll do it!

Jokey shook Handy's hand fast.

Jokey: Oh boy! Thank you! Thank you!

Handy: You're welcome, I think.

Meanwhile, Papa Smurf was with Baby Smurf, he had just given him a fresh diady.

Papa: There's nothing like a fresh diady change to make Baby feel smurfy again.

Baby: *laughs*

Brainy: Papa Smurf! Papa Smurf it's terrible!

Papa: What's wrong, Brainy?

Brainy: Gargamel is just outside the village! He's heading this way!

Papa: Great Smurf! Alert the others immediately!

What the Smurfs didn't know was that the Gargamel outside the village was a mechanism controlled by Jokey and Handy.

Jokey: *laughs* *in Gargamel's voice* I'll get you Smurfs if it's the last thing I ever do!

Handy: This is the last time I'm smurfing you with your pranks, Jokey!

Jokey: Sure, sure! This is great, Handy! Thanks for the help!

Brainy: Every smurf! Gargamel's found the village!

All the Smurfs started panicking as Handy drove the mechanism into the village. Jokey was having the time of his life.

Jokey: I finally found the village, now all you Smurfs will be mine!

But soon, Handy lost control of the mechanism, the gears got jammed and the Gargamel mechanism went out of control.

Jokey: Handy, what's smurfing on?!

Handy: I can't make it stop! The gears are jammed!

The mechanism went right past the village and plunged into a lake.

Papa: Great Smurf!

Handy and Jokey came out of the river coughing. Papa Smurf didn't look happy.

Jokey: *laughs nervously* Oops...

Jokey: I'm awful sorry, Papa Smurf, I just wanted to smurf a new joke!

Papa: Jokey, you do realize that you put us all in great danger, worst of all, you dragged Handy into your mess.

Handy: Exactly what I tried to tell him Papa Smurf.

Jokey: I'm sorry, Handy.

Papa: Let this be a lesson, Jokey. I want to stop pulling pranks for today, one more prank and you're grounded.

Jokey stared at the ground, tears falling from his face into the soil.

Jokey: Yes Papa Smurf.

Brainy: A perfect punishment, Papa Smurf, I'm sure Jokey learned his lesson. He could've done something better, but oh no! He thought it was a smurfy idea to-

Once again, Brainy was kicked out of the village.

Brainy: Pay the price...

Meanwhile, Jokey wandered the forest with one of his presents.

Jokey: Papa Smurf can't catch me if I smurf this outside the village!

?: But perhaps I can catch you!

Jokey gasped, it was the real Gargamel.

Jokey: Gargamel!

Gargamel grabbed Jokey and laughed maniacally.

Gargamel: Oh today is my lucky day! A smurf comes knocking on my door!

Jokey: Help! Smurfs! Help!!!

Smurfette heard Jokey's call for help, but didn't buy it.

Smurfette: Oh fiddlesmurfs, Jokey Smurf, we didn't buy it the first time!

Jokey: Help!

Gargamel: Yell your little blue lungs out, no one's coming for you.

Azreal: *meows* *tries to grab Jokey*

Gargamel: Not now, Azreal, be patient!

Back at the village, the Smurfs began to grow worried, no one had heard from Jokey for hours. Harmony sounded the alarm and all the Smurfs gathered around.

Papa: Smurfs, no smurf has heard from Jokey, we must form a search party and go find him immediately.

Hefty: You got it, Papa Smurf!

Some Smurfs went with Papa Smurf to find Jokey.

Brainy: Yoo hoo! Oh Jokey Smurf!

Hefty: Jokey!

Clumsy: Uh gosh, I found Jokey's present!

Hefty: Looks like he's been here.

Sassette: Fumblin' Ferrets, I think Pappy Gargamel's been here! Those are some big footprints!

Smurfette: Oh dear! I heard Jokey earlier, but I thought he was smurfing another joke!

Papa: Great Smurf, we must go to Gargamel's immediately! Smurf his present, I have an idea!

Meanwhile, Gargamel was trying to figure out what to do with Jokey. Jokey sat in a cage wallowing in shame.

Gargamel: Oh, I'm so evil! Now let's see, we could french fry him, boil him, or cook him into a delicious stew!

Jokey: *sighs* This is all my fault, the Smurfs would've come for me if I hadn't been so careless.

Gargamel: Oh you can blabber all you want in my stew pot!

?: Psst! Jokey!

Jokey saw the Smurfs outside.

Jokey: Papa Smurf! I'm so glad you're here!

Papa: Shhh!

Hefty gave Jokey one of his gift boxes.

Jokey: Huh?

Hefty: We're smurfing you outta here, Papa Smurf says the way to do that, is the smurf what you do best.

Hefty whispered the plan to Jokey in his ear.

Jokey: I can do that *laughs* Hey Gargamel, you win, and to celebrate this moment, here's a surprise for you.

Gargamel: Gimme that you wretched blue menace!

Jokey: Now, whatever you do, don't open it!

Gargamel: Don't open it? Sounds like you really don't want me to open this, eh?

Jokey: Yup, that's right!

While Jokey kept Gargamel busy, Papa Smurf began to pick the lock.

Gargamel: I'm going to open this then, sounds like there's something you really don't want me to do, perhaps this is a way to the village, I could have all the Smurfs I've ever dreamed of!

Gargamel opened Jokey's gift and, like always, it exploded in his face. By then, Papa Smurf had already picked the lock.

Jokey: Thanks, Papa Smurf!

Sassette: So long, Pappy Gargamel!

Gargamel: Oh I hate Smurfs!!!

Back in the village, Jokey apologized to all the Smurfs.

Jokey: I'm very sorry, everysmurf, if I hadn't pranked you all like that, I wouldn't have to tangle with Gargamel in the first place. Thanks for saving me back there, Papa Smurf.

Papa: I hope you learned your lesson, Jokey.

Brainy: I agree, Papa Smurf, the best way to learn your lesson is to get a smurf of your own medicine, I should know, I once-

Again, Brainy was kicked out of the village.

Brainy: You know, I hope this is just a big joke.
