Chapter 16

I woke up. I was in my corner. I looked around. Tom was there. I felt my face. It didn't feel like someone had scarred it. I got up and walked over to Tom. "Are you a werewolf?" I blurted. He looked shocked. "Of course I'm not! Why would you even think that?" I heaved a sigh of relief. "A dream that I had. Bye." Then I ran out. I ran into Potter. I knew that this day was too good. 

"Where are you going in such a hurry, Weed?" He had his wand out. "I was going to go outside. It looks nice. What are you doing, Potter?" He sneered at me. The other three were standing behind him with their wands out too. "Why should I answer you? It's none of your business what I am doing. But I think that you don't need to go outside, or to dinner. You need to go back you your little snake pit. Get going." 

That went better than it normally did. I turned around and started back to the Common Room. Then I changed my path and headed to the Potions classroom. They stopped following me when they realized that I was headed there. As soon as they left, I turned around and headed to the Great Hall. I grabbed a quick bite to eat then I wandered the corridors. It was strange, but it felt good. I was truly alone. It felt very good. I wandered for about an hour, avoiding other students.

Suddenly I was shoved in the back and I fell on my face. I looked around and didn't see anyone. I turned back around and saw Potter and his friends. He was laughing and the others snickered as well. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I opened them again. That was my way of calming down. I knew from experience that I shouldn't draw my wand. So I didn't. I knew that Salazar was safe in the Common Room, so they couldn't use him as bait to get me to do something. 

"Well, well, well. Look at what we've got here. Why are you here. I would have thought that you would have gone crying to your mummy. That is what you do best. Telling on us." I interrupted him. "No, I don't. I've been lying to everybody and saying that you guys are not bullying me." He glared at me. "Then why does everybody know?" "I have no idea!" I snapped at him. Bad move. 

"I think that we need to teach this snake a lesson. Ready guys?" Ron and Neville were grinning and Hermione was a little bit too. It seems that she doesn't care as much for the rules anymore. 

I started to take my wand out. "Petrificus Totalus." I now couldn't move and I fell to the floor. "Levicorpus. Let's go." He threw something, a cloak, over me. "There, now nobody can see her in front of us. Ron, you bring her." I was floating behind them as they went up to the top of the Astronomy tower.
