Chapter 10

I bumped into Professor Snape. "Professor Dumbledore wants to see you sir. He's in his office." Then I ran all the way to the Hospital Wing. I told Madam Pomfrey that I was sorry that I had left and I was willing to stay as long as she needed me to stay. She was pleased with that. I let her do whatever she pleased, and was allowed to go to breakfast the following day. I wasn't even very hungry, so I ate an apple. I looked up to where Professor Snape was sitting, and he glanced my way. He gave me a tiny nod, which made me feel much better.

I still didn't get anything in the mail, mainly because I didn't have anyone to give me anything. The first half of the day was fine, then lunch came. And went. After lunch, I had free time, so I went outside and sat in a large tree. I found a nice little niche in a branch. It was surprisingly comfortable. I was reading a book on Potions, and it was very interesting. I was so caught up in it that I didn't hear somebody come to the tree.

"Hey Weed. Come down here." Harry Potter. And his friends, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Neville Longbottom. I glared down at them. "And why should I listen to you?" He pulled out his wand. So did the others. Mine was still in my pocket. I sighed and jumped down. "What do you want? And what did you call me?" I snarled. He smirked. "Weed. Because ivy is a weed. As for what we want, simple. Tell us what we want to know." I glared at him. "Why should I do that?'

He laughed. "Because," He said, pointing his wand at me., "Expelliarmus, impedimenta!" I mas frozen temporarily. And I didn't have my wand. Suddenly I hanging by my ankle in the air. Then I unfroze. Harry was grinning, so was Ron. Hermione was shaking her head, but she didn't do anything. Longbottom was standing there, not doing anything, but he looked like he was also enjoying my humiliation. Then I started moving towards the Black Lake. I started freaking out.

"Stop, Potter, stop!" He just laughed and put me farther out in the lake. Then I fell into the lake. I panicked. I can't swim, I never learned how. Something grabbed me and pulled me further down. I couldn't breath. I was panicking. I tried to get a breath of air, but what I got was a lungful of water. I was drowning. Everything was turning black. Then there was nothing.
