Water is entering in my lungs, and my heart swells .

How more it can take before it bursts,
The more beautiful the memory, the more it hurts.

We don't miss them, but the idea of them,
Being a masochist, entertaining them fills me with shame.

They crave for me when I'm not there,
But when I'm there , they are just fine.
Its too hard to decipher when we crossed the line.

My heart is aching, can't stop the flood of tears,
The loneliness, the void fills me with anticipation and fears.

Muted all friends cause they living their honeymoon phase,
And I'm just barely surviving , trying to come out of this suffocating maze.

No friends, no love, this city is as dry as its weather,
Birds of bad feather here flock together.

My couple of friends are there, they are also sad,
They still don't want my company and it makes me mad.

They are oblivious to my turmoil and my teary eyes,
Since I've stopped my sarcasm , they feel I'm all rainbows and sunshines.
