I know it ain't Saturday yet..but I won't be getting another chance to post this chapter for you all tomorrow.

James glanced over at Sherri, who looked like a mess, everyone was taking it hard but James wasn't taking it that way. Wag gets up, and leaves without saying a word to anyone who asks where he is going, they just automatically assume to leave him alone. (Okay for some reason I really want to call Wag by his real name, James all of a sudden) But James went to the Morgue, the fact that Wag was convinced he felt a pulse on Seto earlier today. But when Wag went to were Seto was laying, he was gone.

Wag takes a few steps inside, he closes the door as his hand glows an red aura. He mumbles a spell under his breath making an image of Seto laying lifeless and Nova cuddled against his side, the way Tom left him when he returned Seto's body after the Fyre Apprentices were convinced they could bring him back to life.

Wag spots Seto's hand move, Nova's head picks up. Wag walks beside them. He stops the image as Nova was getting to her paws. Wag stares at Nova. 'There is something about Nova that has always unsettled me. The way Nova seems act more human instead of a wild magical creature.' Wag thought.  Wag continues the image, he sees Seto's head move and Wag notices the cuts on Seto's neck has healed.

"You..You were alive the whole time.." Wag mumbled to himself as the door opens making the image disappear and Wag stare at the empty table. Phil stops in the doorway, staring at the empty table.

"No...No, there is no way Seto survived that hanging." Phil said. Wag's eyes move over to Phil.

"Seto's neck didn't break, and....Seto was weirdly calm during the entire ordeal." Wag said quietly. Phil nods and both Tom and Phil enter. "Nova sensed Seto was still alive, that's why she wanted him so badly, she knew."

"You are talking about a wild animal, James." Tom said.

"A highly intelligent animal, don't you guys find it weird how attached that wolf is to Seto. How much she seems to care about him and understand things quicker for a animal who isn't use to being around people." Wag said. Matt comes in, Tom explains everything so far and Matt walks beside the empty table.

"Well...at least we didn't bury him alive. Even though I'm sure he would have gotten out within a minute." Matt said. The other three agree and Phil crosses his arms.

"Yeah, when it comes to Seto, there seems to be nothing he can't do or any limit to his power. But the blight, his blight could kill him if not treated properly like Tom and I were gonna do for him." Phil said. Tom chuckles and shakes his head.

"So we are gonna go track Seto? Remember that he disappeared for four years without a trace of his existence to anyone. He knows how to hide from the public eye." Tom said. Wag nods, agreeing.

"Those two humans, Stephanie and Issac, where are they?" Wag asks. They shrug their shoulders.

"Probably went back home, without Seto here, they have no reason to be here. But maybe Jazmine might know something." Phil said. Wag shakes his head.

"I doubt that. They haven't see each other in four years, a person can certainly change a lot in four years. But Seto might be trying to find her. So Matt, Tom, where was Jazmine last time you saw her?" Wag asks them. Matt looks at Tom.

"She was sold at a slave auction about three months ago from what I heard and I haven't been able to find who bought her." Tom said. Wag looks away from them, catching Phil's eye.

"James, you know what happens to woman when she is a slave, we have to find Jazmine first. Seto can wait." Phil said. Wag looks at Phil, about to argue back when Phil interrupts. "James...If Seto knew we could save Jazmine from slavery earlier than later, he would kill us. We have to go save her." Wag looks away and nods agreeing.

"Yeah, you're right." Wag said. Phil smiles and nods but Tom than injects before Phil could.

"But wait, what about Seto's blight?" Tom asks.

"We'll deal with that later." Phil said.

"Later? That's not a good idea, blight could corrupt him and actually turn him into a dark mage." Matt said. Wag shakes his head.

"If I know Seto, he won't be so easily swayed into the darkness. I think he can hold on for a while, but lets go find Jazmine." Wag said.

But as soon as they went back to Sherri's, Lincoln was gone and Sherri looked at the floor.

"What happened now?" Tom asks.

"Someone raided the dungeons, left with a prisoner about an hour ago." Sherri said quietly. Wag sighs. 'That has to be Seto.' He thought.

"Who was it?" Phil asks.

"No one knows. They were in and out really fast." Sherri said. Wag took a step towards Sherri.

"Who did they take?"

*Coraline's P.O.V*
I woke up feeling like I was being carried by a soft, warm, cloud. I smile a little hearing a soft heartbeat in my ear, than it hit me. Who in the nether is carrying me?! I snap open my eyes, instantly relaxing when I see that it is Seto. I close my eyes, resting my head against his neck. I almost drift back into slumber when I remember that Seto was hung. How did he survive and why am I so happy that he survived? I don't care, I'm out of that cell. But where are we going? I open my eyes, he smells like a Morgue....probably because he sent four days laying lifeless in one. But that's just scratching the surface, I feel as safe as I was when I was in his arms when we were in that cell. Than the safeness and warmth go away and I open my eyes grabbing his arm as he pulled away from me. I sat there against the base of a tree, shivering. He looks at me.

"You're warm." I said softly. I pull his jacket closer to me as he sits down beside me. I put his arm around me as I snuggle myself into his side. I close my eyes, completely oblivious to the bigger than normal black wolf that is sitting at our feet, keeping watch. I put my arms around his center, I feel him tense up and I open my eyes. It's sort of strange how I'm completely fine with cuddling with someone that I barely know. But he wasn't like that, I notice a faint white scar on his neck that is new. I trace it lightly suddenly the wolf jumps between us, making us separate as it growled at me. Seto grabs the wolf that is apparently named Nova.

"Nova, no. She is a friend." Seto croaked. His voice sounds weird, like it is damaged. Wait.

"Seto, how did you survive the hanging and how did you get me?" I ask. Seto pauses, he looks at me.

"The Fyre Apprentices helped me get you. And it was luck for the hanging." Seto said softly at the end. Luck....So there was a chance Seto would have actually been killed four days ago. He looks away from me, leaning against the tree. Nova turns her head to him and puts her head in his lap. "I think things would have been better if I stayed a slave." I shake my head. I touch his hand.

"No, no. Lord Brice would have killed you or you would have been killed by witch hunters." I said to him. Seto stays silent, I look around us, where are we? "Where are we?"

"Littleroot, the outskirts." Seto answered. Littleroot, I've heard of that town.

"Littleroot is in ruins though." I said.

"Wh-What?" He asked suddenly sounding really upset. I move closer to him.

"Littleroot became a battleground for the Magic War when Light Mages frontline was pushed back. What I heard was that the Dark Mages purged the town, burning buildings and killing humans and they didn't leave survivors--" Seto suddenly stands up.

"S-Stay here." Seto said before he took off. Nova got up and ran after him. I did my best to stand up and I went after them, going as fast as I could which wasn't very fast.

As soon as I got there, what once seemed like a town, was now remnants of war. Burnt down buildings, some of the buildings ever gone or barely standing, overgrown grass and objects scattered here and there like someone put them there and was planning on coming back. I stop when I saw Seto standing a few feet away from a half destroyed house, I take a few steps noticing tears on his cheeks. I look at the home and then at him. I touch his arm gently.

"Seto.." I said softly, he tenses up, but I let my hand gently slide down to his hand. "You okay?" He shakes his head as he looks at the ground. I was about to hug him or at least pull him away from here, but I noticed a figure down the street. "Seto, look." He turns his head slightly towards the figure. I grab his arm when he moves towards them and I see the angry in his action too. "No, stay calm." The figure stands up straight, turns towards us making Nova growl. Seto turns towards him as well. I grip his arm a little, fearing that something might happen. I cough suddenly and start to shiver again. I need to get some new clothes, warmer clothes since winter is near and I'm freezing.

"You look pretty alive for a dead man." The figure said. I feel Seto tense up suddenly. I hear a twig snap and I look around seeing a few more people. I move closer to Seto, more up against his back. Nova growls as Seto notices.

"Dark mages." Seto said quietly. My eyes widen as I grip his arm in fear. Everyone knows better than to get in the middle of a mage vs mage fight. Everyone does, and I worked hard to make sire I didn't. But I only ended up in the worse one, because there are four Dark Mages and only one Light Mage and human. We're doomed. My hand moves down Seto's arm and grips his hand when a dark mage suddenly appears a few feet away from us. Seto grips my hand.

"This is why I told you to stay." Seto whispered to me.

"I'm sorry." I whimpered to him.

"Just stay close." He responded. I nod.

"So Seto, you are a Dark Mage now? Nice to know. Good, glad you have finally come around." One of them said.

"I'm not a Dark Mage." Seto said. They chuckles at us.

"Than why are you blighted? I can sense that dark energy radiating off you and it is growing stronger day by day." They said. Blight? What's blight? I feel Seto tense up suddenly.

"That necklace, where did you get that?" He asks. What necklace? I try to look where he is looking, a woman is wearing a small blue necklace with runes on it and a black trim. She grins.

"I took it from a slave girl." She said. Seto flinches, his hands turn into fists, and than it goes downhill from there...

*Seto's P.O.V*
*Few Minutes Later*

I dodged a spell as I felt a wave of drowsiness hit me. Oh no, my blackouts are coming back. I stumble backwards and flick my hand up making the dark mage in front of me go flying backwards. I put my hand on my head and Nova attacks a mage that was coming up behind me. Coraline is right behind me, scared out of her wits. My magic isn't as strong as it use to be, I need to build it up again. I grab the dark mage with Jazmine's necklace and pin her down onto the ground. She gasps in shock once I pin her down. I grab the charm moving it. It has Jazmine's name on it. I grit my teeth. We suddenly flip over so I'm on my back and her knee is in my gut. She pins my wrists down above my head and leans down to where our foreheads almost touch. She giggles suddenly.

"Ohh, blight. That's a real nasty way to die, sweetheart. If you join us, Seto, we will cure your blight." She said to me.

"Seto." I heard Coraline say.

"Never." I snapped. I wince as it grows. She smiles at me.

"You are too valuable to pass up, hun. We have to take you, you caused the Light Mages to fight amongst themselves." She said. I what?

"What?" I ask. She chuckles.

"It seems like you were more important to the Light Mages than you thought you were." She said. Nova suddenly attacks her, only to get knocked back. She smirks and sits up. That is Jaz's necklace and I have to get it back from her. I push against the ground and we both flip over, I grab the necklace and yank it off her. "Hey!" I stumble backwards, tripping over my feet and falling onto the ground. Nova attacks the dark sorceress as she came at me. I hear Nova yelps suddenly, alarming me as well. That can't be good! I sat up seeing most of the dark mages either gone or unconscious. I get up, going over to Nova. She has blood in her fur. Coraline runs over to us. I put my arms around Nova and let her lay down in my lap. I touch her wound making her whimper more. I hear Coraline gasp.

"Set--"

"She's fine." I said. Not Nova too, I can't let this happen. I just can't. My hand gets purple aura glows around it, I hover my hand over Nova's wound, mumbling a spell under my breathe. I see Nova's tail wag as I finish the spell, feeling more beat than before. Nova's wound is healed, only because I did the familiar binding spell. Nova sits up and licks my cheek.

"Seto." Coraline said. I look at her. "What did you do?"

"I..I made her my familiar. It was the only way I could save...her..." I said as my head starts to hurt again. I groan and put my hand on my head.

"Seto." Coraline said. I don't feel so good. My vision blurs suddenly.

"I don't..feel so good.." I said before I feel Coraline's arms around me as I close my eyes, slipping into darkness again.

How many of you read Corrupted Royalty? In terms of Amarisa and Nova...would you like Nova and Seto to have a sort of mindlink like Amarisa and Seto did? I'm not so sure though, so I want your opinions...
