*Seto's P.O.V*
I would like to say that being here at the Inn for the past two days have been nice but...I can't when all I can think about is my friends. Nova licks my cheek and I look at her. I feel like she is the only thing that can truly make me smile, I love animals after all. I pet Nova.

"We need to leave." I said to her. Nova tilts her head and starts sniffing me. My eyes widen, wait...I didn't stutter. Nova wags her tail at me and nudges my chin with her muzzle. I pet her again. I slip on my boots and put my knife in my boot. Nova jumps off the bed. I want Isaac to come, but I think it would be for the best if he didn't. I don't want to get him in trouble with my problems after all he has done for me. I put on my cloak and I look at the window, seeing darkness. It's night. I pull my hood up and look at myself in the mirror. I honestly....I look a little like myself, but I'm not in my regular clothes I use to wear. Nova nudges my leg. I look down at her. I grab some paper and a pencil and scribble a quick note. I feel a bit stronger, everyone has been very nice, but this isn't their problem, it's mine.

I open my door and look down the hall both ways. I open the door more and Nova walks out. I come out, gently closing the door behind me. I walk down the hall and down a set of stairs. This place is weird at night. I stop when I hear talking, must be the night guests. I walk out into the main lobby seeing people at tables, eating or talking or drinking. But I listen in on the conversations when I hear my name.

"Seto Azdel. That really famous and powerful wizard who died four years ago?"

"Yeah, there's a rumor going around that he is still alive. He suppose destroyed half of Lord Solace's mansion and killed many."

"So there's a chance it's not true."

"What?"

"You said rumor."

"Rumor or not. If Seto is alive, the war between the magic folk will turn interesting."

I leave the Inn quickly, Nova following. By the time I made it to the woods, I felt sort of lonely with Isaac. He grew on me slightly, but I can't burden him with my problems.

Wait, war. The Magic War! I stop in my tracks. I totally forgot about the war that is going on between Light and Dark Wizards. And I was helping the war, the Light side. But now....my eyes widen. Oh god...what if they..if she is gone? Nova growls and I turn around seeing torchlight and hearing horses coming towards me. My eyes widen and I turn around, running instantly. Nova follows behind me and than goes infront. But I stumble over my own feet and fall face first into the ground. I yelp and Nova slows down. I push myself up to my knees as the horses start to surround me. My eyes widen. A cloth suddenly goes into my mouth and is pulled back as I felt my arm get yanked. I struggle, trying to break free.

"A dark wizard! This one will pay good." Someone said. I close my eyes, feeling my arms get pinned behind my back. A dark wizard? Is that what they....I stare at the ground. Why do I feel so mad all of a sudden? Why do I feel....I grit my teeth. No. They will not get in my way. I hear screaming and felt a burning sensation all over my body and black out.

When I wake up, Nova is licking my cheek and I'm laying on my side with my hands tied behind my back. I groan slightly, wincing when a burning sensation manifests up my back. I open my eyes feel her licking inside my ear.

"Nggh!! N-No Nova." I said move my head away. I wince. Nova moves closer to me and licks my neck. I wince when she does. She walks around me and my bonds are cut. I push against the ground, my eyes widen when I see something purple and admitting a black aura growing on my hands. "Wh-What i-is this?!" I sit on my knees, looking at my hands. Then my eyes widen when I see q bloodied corpse a few feet away. I gasp and fall backward, wincing at the burning sensation on my arms, neck, and back. Did...Did I...I see dead horses and corpses around me. What happen?

Nova comes over to me and starts licking my neck. My eyes drop, feeling the burning sensation starting to go away on my neck. I look at Nova, feeling my eyes water. I wipe them away with my sleeves. I hear a gasp and I look towards it seeing Stephanie and Issac. I stand up and back away fearful.

"Seto, what happened?" She asks me. I look away from her.

"What's on your neck and arms?" Issac asks me. Nova comes by my side. I look around me, my knees feeling weak.

"I...I..." I trail off as my knees give and Stephanie runs to me and puts her arms around me, putting my face against her shoulder. I feel Nova licking my hand. I..I did this. I'm dangerous, I don't want to hurt anyone!

"My mother was right. You are a magic user." Stephanie said. My eyes widen and I pull out of her arms. I look at my hand that Nova was licking seeing that weird growth disappearing. Stephanie scratches behind Nova's ear and she turns her head into her hand. "Nova has healing saliva, it can heal any injury, curse, or anything really expect for anything inside." I look at Stephanie. Stephanie takes my hand and carefully pushes up my sleeve seeing it growing on my arm and it burns really badly.

"You have really bad blight, Seto." She said. Blight? What's blight? I wince and grab my elbow, holding it close to my body as it grows. Nova starts licking my arm, removing the blight. Stephanie looks at Nova and than around us. "We have to get out of here, dark magic is all around this place." What? But she is a human, how can she sense it? I look at her. She smiles at me. "My family can't use magic, but we have the ability to sense different energies and have a ability."

"Wh-What ability?" I ask.

"I can sense emotions and dark and light magic. And I sense light magic within it, but you have more dark magic than light." She said. I look away from her. She can sense emotions, my hand turns into a fist. "You can be mad at me later, we need to get you out of here. And don't you dare resist because I can sense you are feeling it." I look at Nova and down at the ground. Issac comes over to me and helps me stand. Stephanie pulls down my sleeve and helps my other side. U stare at the ground as we walk.

"Get you some new clothes, your blight expunged, and than I will explain everything. We need to take him through the back door with the blood on him." She said. Issac nods. I feel dizzy and drowsy again, too drowsy to argue back. So she...she knew I was leaving and yet she did nothing. "Seto--"

"Sto-Stop read-reading me!" I stuttered. We go to behind the Inn. Amber is at the door. She opens it. 

"There you are." She said. They help me up the steps and inside.

"Nova can heal you. May take a while though." Stephanie said. They lead me to my room. Stephanie holds me up. "Issac, you need to take off Seto's shirt." Issac looks at Stephanie as she sits me on the bed. Nova jumps up. Stephanie looks like she is about to argue back but she doesn't and looks at me with a sympathetic look in her eyes. She read me again. "He wants us out." She looks at Issac. Nova starts licking my hand. Issac leaves. "You know, I only knew you left because I felt an unstable burst of energy and I felt the pain coming from you in the same direction." I look away from her. She opens the door. "You can't leave without me knowing Seto. Good night, take off your shirt so Nova can heal your blight." I don't respond to her and than she leaves. I stare at the floor, feeling my eyes welt up with water. I take off my jacket and pull my shirt over my head sending a ripple of pain through me. I hiss and Nova licks my back.

This much have happened at Lord Solace's. I...Nova was there when I woke up and I didn't have this on me. I put my face in my hands. I have more dark energy than good. Does that make me evil? W-Wait a minute! I..I knew I recognized Stephanie, she was at the market that day, she helped me. Wait that means she knows I was a....why didn't she bring it up these past two days?

I lay down with my back to the door and put my arms around my stomach as Nova licks away the blight. Does that mean that I can't go home, a place where only light wizards and humans are allowed. I bury my face into my pillow. Shut off, close Stephanie off so she can't get a read on me. I close my eyes focusing on that until my blight is all gone.
